Definitely sign up at Facebook to be notified of the event (starts a few weeks into the new semester). However, their service is outstanding and reasonably priced. Located on Chico State campus (between the BMU and the PAC) with convenient hours and now at their shop on 4th and Cherry, they are very conveniently located. We have Chico High students who ride their bikes to school--often through orchards and other areas where thorns and sharp pebbles come into play. As such, one of our kids got a flat and had no money on him for a repair. After a quick phone call to the shop, arrangements were made for him to walk the bike in, get the flat fixed ($7), and he was on his way again. Matt, the store's manager, called for the credit card information and processed it right then and there. Well worth it for the added peace of mind.

As far as people saying that this place is overpriced. I think that's not true at all. They have a ton of boards and gear that is a year old and heavily discounted. Everyone I worked with was super friendly and they found me stuff that is not only going to improve my snowboarding, but make my trips a lot easier, and more fun because I finally have the right gear that fits me correctly. 1000 out of 10 this was one of the best shops I've ever been to! Definitely come here for your snowboard/ski needs !! I bought a new snowboard, new bindings, and new boots, and I left them there while I went and spent Christmas with my family while they waxed both my boards and mounted my new bindings on my new board for free! Super quality service and very happy with the results !

A heads up would've been appropriate. The shop hours of 9 to 5 Monday through Friday make it very difficult to drop off or pick up your boat or motor without having to take a day off of work. I took a day off work to drop off my motor and I had to send my daughter to pick it up so I would not have to take another day off Three weeks later when my motor was finally ready, I paid for it over the phone and let them know my daughter was going to pick it up. I asked them to please help her secure it in the truck I will make sure there are straps provided. I was told they would take of care of it When my daughter went to pick up the motor she asked the service man to please use the straps she had to secure the motor to the back of the truck so it would not roll around. He looked at her like she was crazy, used one strap haphazardly and as soon as she pulled out of the parking lot the motor rolled to the other side of the pick up bed. Their lack of concern for my motor I just paid them over $1400 to repair was horrible All in all very disappointing I will not be returning to this shop
