Awesome, good experience! Senshi Ramen is located in urban space Pearl. Edward space pearls like a large food hall but it's absolutely beautiful it's clean. It's all kept plenty of seating. Senshi say they offer a twist on contemporary Japanese food and they're so right. I ordered the Karaage-Men it comes in a pork belly sort of broth that has scallions shiitake mushrooms. You can also add other items to it. I requested it to be spicy. It also had Japanese fried chicken, sesame and spring salad. The broth base has a lot of garlic and spices and has a very distinct pork taste as well which was excellent. The noodles were firm and the fried chicken was delicious. It wasn't fried too hard. It was fried just right. I csme back two days later, and got the Ramen with brisket.

Signature Nin' Niku Black Garlic - no shiitake - no wood ear - added an egg, -added eggplant and made it spicy highly recommend!

fantastic food as always i tried something different and it came out SO good. Signature Nin' Niku Black Garlic with some alterations - no shiitake, no wood ear - added an egg and eggplant and made it spicy highly recommend!

The food was very well prepared, and it was ready in a timely fashion since I had picked up the order. The staff were so sweet and attentive. I truly enjoyed how nothing was overly salty. If you were looking for a low salt meal this is probably a really great option for you.I also ordered a side of fries and I was genuinely impressed at how delicious it was.

The best thing is the meat, perfectly tendered. *Signature Black Garlic Noodle - extremely lukewarm soup temperature, we got spicy but it wasn't spicy, kinda basic but acceptable. *Tsukemen - the soup suppose to be denser for dipping noodle but it's not. Soup came lukewarm as well. The noodle was the thick type which was fine, but it seems old and dried out, broken into small pieces ... Oh well.

One of the few strictly food places open in later in FiDi (11:30-7pm). This is located on one wing of the food hall with a simple exterior and lots of natural light. It's clean and tight quartered, open kitchen cooking. I had a massive portion of Edamame for $6. Karaage chicken ($11) was hot and cut into large pieces. This style is typically dark meat. This was slightly oily, but hot and fresh. The portion size with the edamame was enough to share and take home. Service was quick and food was made to order. Plenty of seating and utensils, takeaway bags, and napkins are made readily available. Happy to grab a quick bite between events!

Get the signature black garlic ramen! The broth is rich and creamy and smoky - definitely one of the best ramen broths I have tried. The noodles are springy and have a nice chew to them. The cha siu is tender with a nice char. The owner was very nice and even gave us eggs on the house. The only thing is spicy cost an extra $1 and it was not spicy at all so I would recommend just getting the non-spicy version.

This ramen would have been soooo much better if I did not order it spicy. The spice was almost unbearable, way more than I usually get anywhere else. Other than that, it tasted great. Super pricy though and does not come with very many toppings. It was an additional $2 for one egg, which was definitely worth it.

This is new ramen restaurant opened in 100 Pearl as part of the Urbanspace Food Fall. Senshi is located in the back towards the left. The seating area is very clean and not crowded on a Sunday evening. I tried their signature Black Garlic Ramen the spicy version. Immediately I notice the soup is dark brown instead of red/orange, which is what most spicy ramen has. It's richly flavored with small pieces of garlic and tastes amazing! The chashu is also cooked well and is soft. Would definitely come back and try the other ramens!

Wow, what a rip off. $21 for a bowl of bad ramen. I know it's FiDi + inflation but the price is outrageous for tasteless ramen. I ordered the Signature Black Garlic & spicy (+$1) but only the chashu was spicy, everything else lacked in flavor. $2 for an egg add on? It should be included. A friend asked for no scallions and of course they put scallions. They said they would help bring the food to our table but they screamed and shouted our order # until we walked up there to grab our food. The Karaage appetizer was 5 chicken nuggets for $11 with inconsistent batter. Also overpriced but was the better tasting part of the meal and that's not saying much. 2 bowls of ramen, 1 app, 2 drinks, w/ tip cost $70. I would 1000% skip this spot in Urbanspace. Highly recommend eating something else.

This is the most underrated Ramen spots in the neighborhood. Particular the Black Garlic Nin Nikku Ramen. Spicy and Non Spicy option's. I got the non spicy. It was delicious !

Me and my friend got hungry while scootering. We stumble upon senshi ramen at urbanspace. We order the signature black garlic ramen, fried oysters and yuzu lemonade. Everything was great. I personally almost finished the broth without noticing. I would definitely come back and try out their menu. Make sure to check all doors while going in. We went around 5/6pm some doors were locked but the space was open.

I have tried both the ramen and sesame noodle from Senshi Ramen and they're both banging!! You can't go wrong with either one. Ramen bowl on a cold chilly day and some sesame noodle on a warm day is the way to go.

I just defaulted to Ichiran's suggested levels for everything which made it fast and easy. Once you're at your assigned cubbyhole, you can hang your coat up on the wall behind you and fill up your water cup at the machine also behind you. You don't even see the face of the person who brings out the ramen which gives the whole process a mysterious bank teller vibe. With all this, the classic tonkotsu ramen ($23) with slender noodles nearly gets overshadowed, but don't fret since it's fantastic. I believe when you're done, you just get up and leave. Surprisingly, one of the instructional posters does not go into this.

When you walk into the restaurant, you pre-order at the touchscreen to the right of the entrance and later when you're seated you give the order receipts to the server at your window. The food at this location is obviously going to be pricier than it is in Japan (came out to around $60 for 2 people), but it is SO worth it as you can't get Ichiran anywhere else besides in Japan.

For a restaurant, especially one serving customizable ramen dishes, with a allergy list post on the wall by the counter where I sat at B1, a little flexibility or empathy toward food allergies would go a long way. The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming, which made the overall dining experience uncomfortable. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and sadly this visit fell short. The smashed cucumber was good. Spicy dumpling was good. Ramen broth was light, not as rich or flavorful as others. There are so many good ramen places in NYC, this Chinese Ramen place has lot of room to improve.

First of all, I LOVE the ambience and the paper lantern decor here. Took me right back to those neon streets. The staff are polite and patient; one of them even picked up my phone for me after I dropped it mid-meal. During my trip, I was converted to a soba-lover, and while I don't think this is true soba here, they have "abura soba", what they describe as a "soupless ramen" (with a thicker noodle) which I was drawn to.
