Was headed into Port Huron for Mediterranean, but gor waylaid by a convo abt this place. Can you say, Chile rellenos/pablanos? Yes, they do! So rare to see true TexMex on menus north of the border. They have it all! The salsa was pretty spicy, the chips were amazing (I limit gluten and these did NOT bother me, and I had more than i should've). The poblano plate was incredible. A couple really good sized poblano stuffed with that incredible white cheese that make you go...mmmmmm! She had the taco salad, said it was deelish. We are not drinkers, but what the hey, it's the Holidays. They had a separate holiday drink menu, my friend ordered a snowy margarita or something similar and it was sooo pretty, coconut flavored, garnished with cranberries. I had a Mojito- no MIGRAINE today! It was really nice to see a family atmosphere. Nice group of young folks sitting at the back, wrapping silverware, laughing, snacking, enjoying their job- how refreshing is that! Thanks, Sky. We'll be back

Nice friendly staff and a great ambiance. There is a nice outdoor seating area behind the restaurant away from the main street. This is my second time here and the food is great. I ordered something new that I have never tried before and it was delicious. I now have a new favorite dish to order! I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in town.

Our first trip to this restaurant. Very spectacular Mexican restaurant as they just opened a few years ago. We were excited to see that they had dedicated vegetarian combo platters. You can also customize to anything you want. The wait staff and the ambience were spectacular. Very attentive and had a very nice welcoming feel. We enjoy Mexican food and will return to this restaurant again and again. So happy to see this in the Port Huron area.

Ambiance was lively but not too noisy that you couldn't have a conversation. Food was good quality and they had a good variety on their menu. Tried the tacos el carbon with pork and it was very flavorful. Service was timely and despite the busy time we went, they still were able to check on us.

The food was just okay! Not the best Mexican restaurant by far! I asked the waitress is the crispy hard shells if they were made there. She said yes! It was lie! These hard shells are store bought! The rice and beans were not the greatest, pretty bland. The enchiladas were okay! The food overall wasn't something I would want to go back to if visiting the Port Huron again. The decorations such as the letters outside on the back was very cute and authentic. I did order a medium strawberry frozen margarita, it wasn't good at all! It could have used a some more strawberry flavoring added to it. I wish the food was as great as the decorations on the outside of the restaurant. Here are just a few pictures I took. Sorry for the half eaten food pictures. I forgot to take pictures right when it was served.

Really tasty food. Salsa and chips seem pretty fresh. Friendly, quick and attentive staff. Really affordable prices. The typical beer selection and margaritas. Nice and roomy atmosphere with plenty of room for larger parties.

My husband had the poblano blanco with beef and chicken. He said they were both very good. I had the burrito deluxe with beans. It was very delicious. Our waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and our food came in a very timely manner. I also had the fall sangria that I enjoyed. We had nothing negative to say about our visit and will definitely be back in the future.

Best mango margarita with tajin rim around and never been disappointed with food or service

I've come to Mexico twice now and it delivered both times…read more I don't have any photos of the first time, but my partner and I shared five of the six taco options, and by far my favourite were the pork belly and the Chicken Tinga. The second time I came with some coworkers and I had one of the margaritas. It had pineapple juice in it, but I can't remember what it was called... It was just recommended by the server and she was definitely on the nose with that one. Taquitos are good; I liked the beef over the chicken. And I had the salmon plate when I came back I don't know if I would get it again, it was just OK and I don't know if it was worth the price. Overall a very fun place to eat, top-tier for Sarnia. Good vibes, good drinks, good food, great service! Just a little more on the expensive side for someone on a student budget

I'm not sure which aspect of this experience was worse--the food, the drinks, or the service…read more We arrived at about 7:30pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant was nearly empty, though it didn't close for a few more hours. We seated ourselves and waited. And waited. After about 15 minutes, a server shows up and gives us menus. We looked over the drink and dinner menus and made our selections--but they weren't going to be taken for nearly 30 minutes. We placed our drink orders (classic margarita and the La Paloma). After 15 more minutes, our drinks arrived. The drinks were mediocre--at best. The classic margarita was essentially a glass of lime juice with half a shot of tequila; the Paloma was the same, but with grapefruit juice. $12 CDN each. The next time we saw our server was another 15 minutes later when our chips and guacamole arrived. The chips were nice and salty; the guacamole portion was extraordinarily small (about an ice cream scoop size) for $10 CDN. With the arrival of the guacamole, we were finally able to place our meal order. They were out of chicken, so we settled on two crispy pork belly tacos, one carne asada taco, and a pescado taco. $6 CDN each. A full thirty minutes later, our food had not yet arrived. Our drinks were empty (there was only one other party in the restaurant at this time). I walked to the bar with my empty glasses to place two more drink orders: the passion cocktail (tequila, banana, cranberry, and orange were supposed to be the primary flavors) and the Envy (a margarita with blue curaçao). At this point of the evening, it's now nearly 9:15PM. We've been in the restaurant for over an hour. Our second order of drinks and 4 tacos finally arrive. Gross is all I can say. - All tacos shared the same stale-tasting, rusty cabbage. It's like the half-off prepackaged slaw mix you buy at the grocery store tossed with a light vinaigrette. - The fish tasted... fishy. Fishy tasting fish is never a good sign. I probably should have looked at the crowd and determined that there wasn't enough turnover to order the fish. Two bites and I tap out on the fish taco. - The carne asada was not that. Instead of being the traditionally marinated and grilled strips of steak that I'm used to at other restaurants, it was essentially stringy, water-logged pot roast. - The pork belly tacos were neither crispy nor flavorful. They tested more like baked pork chop with a hint of bacon. They were dressed with the same slaw mixture as the other tacos. After tasting the Passion cocktail, we asked the waitress if there had been an error. Banana has an unmistakeable taste; the lack of it is quite noticeable. Cranberry juice is red. The fact that this drink was neither reddish-pink or had even the faintest hint of banana told us otherwise. It was the same drink as "the classic." The Envy was at least blue. It was undrinkable, but the color was at least correct. After nearly 2 hours of waiting and shit service, we paid and left nearly all our food uneaten. We walked around the corner to Bad Dog and had a second dinner.
