BUYER BEWARE: A good…read moremajority of the trucks on their lot have been imported from Canada. If you don't already know, Canadian roads are VERY hard on cars/trucks and often have rust problems. I almost fell into this trap. I was very close to buying a truck from them, but wasn't made aware the truck was imported from Canada until I was almost done signing for it. There must be some sort of law that mandates dealerships to disclose imported vehicles. I stopped the signing process and went and looked at the under belly of the 3 year old truck I was about to buy and it was completely rusted out. No deal! It would have been nice if this dealership was more up front about this. It felt sneaky. I should have done a better job of looking at CarFax instead of trusting the inspection report that was provided to me. It felt like the finance manager was trying to get me to rush through the signing process so I wouldn't notice or question anything. Later that night I went on their website and saw that almost every one of the trucks listed have been imported from Canada.

We had one payment left of around $2,600 and that was due to deferring car payments because of unemployment, Covid-19, etc. I had misunderstood and thought payments from deferments would continue to be made monthly until car paid of. Lol. They expected payment by August 7th for the entire amount. So, VWFS would not provide payoff quote and we would have had to get a letter from them, etc. We ended up taking car back to VW dealership and paid us $100 more than offer from CarMax. They paid car off and we walked away with proceeds after their cut. The people at CarMax were very nice and tried to work with us, but it didn't work. I checked our account with VWFS this morning. We overpaid by .73 cents, lol!

When I first called, I spoke with Corey, who was unwilling to help and simply directed me back to the online listing. It left me feeling discouraged and uncertain about moving forward with the purchase. Thankfully, I called back and was connected with Lubin. He took the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and make me feel like a valued customer. My wife and I had just purchased a 2025 Porsche Macan from CarMax in Henderson, Nevada, and Lubin's professionalism, patience, and willingness to help truly reflected the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back to CarMax. If you're buying a vehicle from the Renton location, I highly recommend asking for Lubin. CarMax is lucky to have him on the team. CarMax, please take good care of this guy. He's a great representative of your company and an even better person. Thanks again, Lubin. Cheers.

Save yourself the frustration and avoid Rairdon's Subaru of Auburn…read more On September 27, I called ahead regarding a 2014 Subaru Outback. The salesperson confirmed directly with both the General Manager and Sales Manager, Michael Choi, that the vehicle was available on a "first-come, first-served" basis, as a prior interested party had no deposit or active agreement. I arrived at 1:30, completed a test drive, agreed to the purchase price and to buy the vehicle by 2:15. The salesperson then requested Michael Choi initiate the purchase paperwork. I checked on the status of the paperwork at 3:00 and was told Choi was "trying to smooth things over" with the previous interested party because they were upset the car was being sold. Then at 3:15, we were suddenly informed the dealership would not sell us the car because the other party was en route. When questioned, Michael Choi falsely claimed the other party had a deposit (which makes no sense, why would he need to "smooth things over" if they already had a deposit and the car wasn't available?) Choi then produced paperwork that explicitly confirmed the prior deal was unwound, rescinded, no funds were held, and no agreement existed. Despite his own dealership's documentation proving the car was unreserved, Choi refused to honor our agreed purchase and denied ever confirming its availability that morning. When confronted with these contradictions, Choi leaned forward aggressively and stated, "I don't care if I sell that car. It's just a pile of metal to me." It became blatantly obvious that Choi kept us sitting in the showroom for an hour under the pretense of preparing our paperwork while he used our deal as leverage to get the other party to add $1,000 to the purchase. Although Rairdon's Customer Satisfaction Manager asked me to delay posting, potential buyers deserve to know how this dealership operates. Management uses deceptive statements, unethical sales tactics, and exhibits severe unprofessionalism. Take your business elsewhere.

I came back to talk to Troy on the 4th month explain to him that I was getting letters from the bank my principal was up to $785 Troy told me don't worry about paying on the principal.
