Fast forward 6 months (I never used the fireplace during the 6 months) and I was converting to gas logs. The gas fireplace company said I needed a chimney inspection and cleaning. I told them I had it 6 months ago - but I needed a new one. Fine. I used a different company to inspect the chimney and do some brick work. I saw the photos of the debris on the shelf and inside the chimney!! The other company removed Half of a 5 gallon bucket of debris. And they showed me a nail or screw one damper that was not secured during the first cleaning. So I am very disappointed - did JCS even do anything? Oh, and I paid double to JCS rather than the second company for the same services. TLDR: I do not recommend JCS

As we approached the service date, he communicated details effectively. On day of service, he kept us notified as our time slot approached. He arrived on time. He estimated 2 hours, and he finished on time. Alex was extremely thorough: cleaning windows, screens, siding, trim, gutters, bricks, stone, and metal roofing. He also included deck washing and walking stone/pavers as part of the work. Moreover, he pressure washed our front porch bench for free.
