I took my car in to service 2 problems. First, the vacuum brake booster was bad and I had almost…read morehit someone backing out of my driveway and second, the power steering was making horrible noise in the below freezing weather. I deducted a star because I did my homework on the web and found thousands? of people had the same problem with the Ford Edge vacuum booster failing so Ford had extended the factory warranty to cover it. It really should have been a recall and I put in a formal complaint on the government recall site. I had bought the extended warranty with the car and Masano said it was covered under my extended warranty along with the power steering belt so they charged me my $100.00 deductible. I questioned whether it would be less since the vacuum booster was covered by Ford and really the power steering belt was the only item that should be under my "extended warranty" and they said with parts and labor the belt would be over the $100.00 deductible. I do most of the car maintenance/ repair on my previous vehicles so i'm not really sure about that. Hence the star downgrade. All repairs were done. I am happy with the work done and it was done several months ago. I just took the car in for it's 25k service and was totally satisfied. I felt their charges were fair and quite resonable this time.

I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Tom Masano Ford in Reading to…read morethink twice. Our experience has been frustrating from the very beginning. After purchasing our vehicle in November, we were contacted because the dealership had made an error and had us sign paperwork for the wrong VIN. We had to take time out of our schedule to return and correct a mistake that should never have happened. Then, just two days after purchasing the vehicle, the windshield cracked overnight. We immediately contacted the dealership and were told it was due to the weather--even though it was around 45 degrees outside. Our salesperson told us the manager would be reaching out to discuss the issue, but we never received a single call. We called the dealership repeatedly (around 10 times that week) and our calls either went unanswered or were never returned. Fast forward several months. We finally filed an insurance claim to have the windshield replaced ourselves. When the glass company came out, they informed us that the windshield had been improperly installed previously. They were unable to replace it because the installation and calibration issues needed to be addressed first. We returned to Tom Masano Ford hoping they would finally take responsibility. Instead, nothing was done. Once again, our calls have gone unanswered, and no one has followed up despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue. We have now been driving with a cracked windshield for nine months because of what appears to be an improperly installed windshield and a dealership that has shown little interest in helping after the sale. Mistakes happen, but ignoring customers, failing to return calls, and refusing to stand behind your work is unacceptable. Customer service doesn't end when the paperwork is signed. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Tom Masano Ford to anyone looking for a dealership that values its customers or stands behind the vehicles it sells.

Great shop. I normally get my vehicle (Audi A7 S-Line) serviced at my local Audi dealership, and I…read moreservice pretty regularly, but I've recently felt like the prices for service are pretty high. Looked up some local dealerships and found this one. First of all the ladies there welcomed me pretty warmly, for a mom and pops shop it's friendly inviting and I felt like I've been a customer with them forever. Joy was my service writer and she was pretty knowledgeable and there was another lady there that was helpful when Joy wasn't there. They did a free courtesy check, o had some additional issues which I'm glad they found and had them serviced as well. While they arent necessarily the cheapest I felt confident in the work they've done so far and booke my next maintenance with them. Great all around service!!!

I did not need a diagnosis it was in for a simple distributor cap replacement rotor, and plug wires. They took it on their own to replace the spark plugs which they were replaced over a month ago and hit me with three labor charges, which that was a simple job and taken more than an hour to do. They took it on their own to do a diagnosis because I didn't listen charged me three labor charges and $792 later had to pay it I'm not happy. I hope people start looking at their from this place and pay attention. Also what they charge in parts is crazy. It is far more 30 to 50 places charged profit distributor cap and rotor should only cost around 30 bucks not over $100 sure places in business need to make a profit to survive they don't need to kill the public in profit and I feel for that simple job I got raped I also called a few other mechanics and they simply told me at the minimum $300 maximum $400 job. So pay attention to what you're doing and pay attention to your bills from this place because as I said three labor charges on job is for the birds.
