Fine -- I made an appointment for 3:30 PM and came back at 3:30 as instructed. When I returned, somehow my appointment had been moved to 3:45 without my agreement. Then I was told I couldn't even check in until 3:35. At 3:35, I was informed that their system had gone down and that there was no guarantee it would be back up anytime soon -- maybe 30 minutes, maybe three hours. The irony is incredible: there were more than 20 Apple "Geniuses" standing around, yet apparently not one of them could find a way to work around or fix their own system problem. This was an enormous waste of time and an astonishing waste of staffing and resources. A company that prides itself on technology should be able to handle a basic appointment and check-in process without leaving customers stranded because one internal system goes down. My phone went missing while I was commuting and "Fine My Device" marked its location that it was around the bus stop close to the San Diego Zoo. Unfortunately, I couldn't retrieve it. Thankfully, I could afford to get another phone through a family member. They ordered one for me and I just stumbled upon this store because it was nearby. There were no issues with the new Samsung Galaxy, at the time of opening the box/casing. It was new, and it served me mostly well until I decided to move away from San Diego. Thank God there was a way to communicate through this very challenging time period. I was cop-ing, sketch-ing, and test-ing my way through landscapes and lifescapes and cityscapes, for the sake of my mental health. This review has almost nothing to do with this store or with Verizon, sorry... but I remember that the employees (Customer Service, I think) at this store were OK. After locating a corporate store (much better than retail store) I walked in last week. I was approached by friendly and professional representative. After short wait Jorge the representative approached me. Friendly and welcoming. He made the process of switching our wireless service so seemless. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. He found the best plan for us and explained everything very thoroughly. The pricing was great. He explained it and after we I saw the first bill there was no surprises. Jorge is one of the best representative I have worked with in a long time. THANK you Jorge. We had a minor issue with our daughter's phone so I had to go back to store and ask for help. Jorge was off that day so Caleb another knowledgeable and professional representative helped me and resolved the issue very quickly. They called customer service for me & customer service said there's nothing they can do, so the store apologized. How can you lie, this is peoples money you are messing with? Not only that but my bill is back to $700 this month. And I know once I go in it'll be the same result. Doing anything in my power to get out of Verizon. All scams and customer service won't even help you for issues. Also the line is here at least an hour or two each time I go. Never a good experience.
