I HIGHLY recommend checking out this company. They pre-treated everything, scotch-guard, and they steamed cleaned all of my carpet/runners/rugs. Selective Carpet is a company I have used a few times and I thought they were decent people but they are not . If I could give 0 stars I would. They came out to clean my carpet and ran out of water. They attempted to attach the hose to my bathroom sink and damaged it. I was in the kitchen working when they attempted to do this. They never mentioned that they damaged anything before they left and I noticed this a few days later when I noticed the water was coming out without a straight flow. My plumber informed me they damaged it and would possibly need the entire faucet replaced. When I called them they said they would fix it but after I sent the pictures they denied the entire thing. Quote" if you don't have it on camera there's nothing you can do" -Kim. DO NOT USE THEM!!! They are a shady business. And stop telling people to have a blessed or great day; it is disingenuous. You have no integrity in business. I filed a complaint with the State. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else; but if it does, File a complaint with the State. read more

This company is fantastic! I originally found them through a postcard flyer advertising 5 areas for $99. I've since used them about 5 times. They always come on time, they're professional, and not afraid of my pets (I have 3 dogs and 3 cats). With a baby and this many animals (not to mention a careless husband who will spill beer or coffee) I have them come about every 3 months or so. They still honor the 5 areas for $99 and I've been satisfied with their work every time. I've had them clean my couches once, which I was pleased with as well. Well the reasons the quote so low is because of the horrible service they Do . Had my carpets cleaned on Friday , today is Monday and my house stinks to high heavens . Kim the owner tells me it takes a few days for the smell to go away ???? Really ??? Then she tells me I can buy this spray till they make it down, I can buy what ?!?!?!? I just spent 88 dollars to get carpets cleaned ??? She proceeded to tell me how i was rude and can't believe I run a business . All this while telling me she will send a crew down to re do my carpets , I said after five please I work and already took a day off for this once , should of been completed the first time right . She said I said between 3 and five and then said "know what I am done trying to help you !!!! " Maybe she shouldn't give lessons on customer service to me ----- if 88 dollars and bad publicity means that much to her I will gladly pay someone else to do the job right . We have used Selective Carpet for years but will no longer remain loyal customers. We scheduled carpet cleaning for today with an arrival time between 3 and 5. I was told they couldn't do any later than that which is difficult with my work schedule. The last time I had to meet them at the house they called when they were five minutes away, not 30, and my work is 45 minutes away, so this time I left work early to get home during the arrival window. At 4:45 I called for an update because they still weren't at our house nor did I receive the call to let me know they were en route. I was told they were on the way to my house. At 5:45 I called again and was told they'd be to my house by 6:30. At 6:30 I received a call to tell me they'd be here around 7. We have company coming to stay with us and just had renovations done so our carpets are wrecked and now will remain that way because we had a prior obligation and can't wait to see if they show up at 7 or not plus the time it would take to clean the carpets after that. I realize that things don't go as planned in the service industry but there was a complete lack of communication and consideration for our time. read more

I have used this company several times to clean furniture and carpet. I have always been happy with the service. I did receive a call prior to their arrival and they arrived within the projected window. The guys protected the walls with plastic guards so the hose wouldn't make marks. They used a blower that helped speed drying time. One of the guys even spotted a carpet tack strip that was loose and gave an estimate to fix it. read more
