This company was recommended by the homebuilders sales office and I couldn't be happier. They have outstanding workmanship and their crew was very meticulous. The other great thing is they are very reasonable on pricing. I highly recommend this company with absolutely no reservations. UPDATE We wanted to have a hole drilled for a soap dispenser in the kitchen. Anwar said he couldn't do it until after the first if the year. We called in early Jan and Anwar said he would be in our are the following week on Tuesday. After no showing, we called and he texted back that he would call back. No call back. Tried calling again and same text saying he would call back. No call back once again. He is not dependable. read more

My experience with Lawrence and Victor prior to installation was great. They made a lot of promises and guarantees about things we wanted and made us feel confident in their abilities despite less than perfect reviews (blamed on previous employees). We picked out slabs and asked to see templates of the slabs before they were finalized and cut (we never received pictures or any correspondence about what pieces were coming from where). We were told all of our counters would be once piece and that the grain of the stone would flow from our bar down to the slab where the sink is (a peninsula). Come install day and 4 or 5 people came in and did quick work of getting the old counters out and the new ones in, took them less than 5 hours (kitchen and two bathrooms). Unfortunately the speed shows in the quality of work. First and foremost we have a ugly seam (made of two different pieces of the slab which don't match) right in the middle of our peninsula. The seam doesn't even come to the middle of the corner that they decided to put it on. We had drywall which needed to be repaired in the kitchen and one bathroom because they couldn't take two seconds to score the paint to keep it from peeling up. Our sink was set on top of two 2x4s and simply caulked into place which failed about 30 minutes after they left. This poor work was blamed on a new crew. Victor was initially great about sending someone over to fix small issues (the sink, faucet hole was in the wrong place, seam which shouldn't be there was rough), but after they received final payment for the job Victor started blowing off my texts saying he was working on the issues, which we still have almost a month later(they promised us a cutting board from one of our 4 sink cutouts, our backspash doesn't line up (or match for that matter)). In the end we just have to settle with a less than average (5k+) granite install and I've spent probably 4 hours fixing drywal and paint damage. We now get to spend more money removing their poorly installed backsplash and replace it with tile. read more

Seemed good when Anwar and Lawrence we're running things (maybe). Now, communication with Victor (or lack thereof) seems to be a warning sign. A couple years ago, we met Anwar and Lawrence at the Home Show in Phoenix. Was quite impressed and got quotes from them to do our kitchen counters, island, entertainment area. Life's changes and demands dictated that only now, we are able to finish our renovations. Sept 16, emailed Anwar at the address we had on file. No response. Followed up with a phone call to find out Anwar is no longer with Select Premium. Sent an email, with plans requesting an updated quote, to Victor at his @live.com email address he gave me. Although not a deal breaker, I personally think twice when I don't see a "company" email, especially when the previous contact had one. But whatever... No response. October 18, saw Victor at the Home Show and forwarded the email while standing at their booth, because although he said he responded, I couldn't find his response anywhere. Still waiting for acknowledgement / response but sometimes no response is an answer, right? We love Lawrence based on talking with him in the past with Anwar, and even in talking with him at the recent home show. But he is nearing his career's end. Our job includes waterfalls on our island, a little more advanced than just a simple, slab top island and based on another review posted here, looking at the corner /seams that Select Premium did, it may be a blessing that we interpret their poor communication, and lip service we received fr Victor in person, as an indication of their "professionalism". Select Premium is amazing. I gutted and remodeled my entire house, and of all the contractors i worked with, they were far and away the very, very best. They asked all the right questions, they educated me on what i needed to know to make decisions, they were careful and exact when defining the project, then did exactly what they said they would do, were on time, efficient and perfectionists. I did a lot of comparison shopping before I chose them (they were very reasonable compared to their competitors). Also visited both MSI and Arizona Tile before choosing my quartz, and they both knew Anwar & Lawrence and spoke VERY highly of them. I'm very glad I met them. This company lacks in any customer service. Never received the requested quote after 5 attempts contacting them. To top it off, they never CONTACTED me to ask if I got the "quote" they supposedly sent. Very disappointing. read more

I love this place, they have a great selection and everyone is very professional. I had a new bathroom done and they installed my bathroom countertop in the granite that I picked out. They are nice people that present themselves as knowledgeable and professional, but they are not. They installed counter tops and back splash in my kitchen. The sink cutout was not square or of the requested reveal (I offered the sink to them a month before). They added extra seams that were not part of the agreement. The told me they could install my sink brackets a month prior, but when it came time to do so, they used strips of OSB wood instead. I asked on 4 different days for the cutout layout prior to installation and never received it. They left huge seams in every corner of the overhang. On my big island slab, they cut out the wrong area that we had discussed and then tried to sneak it in. My stove slot is less than 30 inches because they did not cut a piece correctly on one side and installed it crooked. They used bright white caulking on my tan walls and off-white back splash (horrid; I had to paint it). They were mostly incapable of correcting the many mistakes I would point out and I had to just finally settle for a less than acceptable job or risk them doing great damage to my kitchen. If you use them, watch them like a hawk, carefully inspect every detail, and complain veraciously before it becomes permanent, because they will do slip shod work and let it slide. read more

Great for the money, very nice & easy to work with. So why only 2 Stars? My granite counters are beautiful but they were NOT what I was expecting. I can't help but but feel slighted or maybe just was not educated enough on what I was getting. I chose 2mm granite slab but I got a thick edge counter. When this company installs they put a thick piece of plywood on the cabinet (with a nasty blue painted edge) and place the stone on top. To hide the plywood they create a capped edge by adhering another piece of stone to the bottom edge of the slab. All the photos of beautiful kitchens you see online showcasing a thin 2mm edge, well this is not it. When I met the company at the home show they told me the money you save was because they were the fabricator (not a middle man). I did contact the company to question the edge thickness of the counter and asked if I made the mistake and miss understood the edge style that I chose? Or is this the only type of install they do? I was told I would receive a call back after they finished with a customer. But......No call and I am very disappointed they just didn't make the effort to call back & answer my question.
