From our first meeting until the renovation was done, we were completely and utterly blown away. The white glove service, the attention to detail, the relentless Planning and exceptional communication is what sets this company apart. I should also mention that there were at least four or five follow up visits to fine tune, and make sure everything was meticulous after the initial installation. I could not imagine ever hiring another organization to do cabinetry other than affinity. If I could give six out of five stars I would. Kudos to Theresa, Tom, and the entire Affinity team.

They knocked a 4'x4' hole in my kitchen wall which cost drywall repair. They want a deposit before starting another 40% on delivery (which everything was not delivered only about 70%) which gets them up to 80%-90% paid and then don't show up to install. They left the cabinet doors leaning against a wall in my room for so long several were warped and had to be remade. They would show up and install one or two items and I wouldn't see them again for weeks and weeks and could not get a response from them about when they planned to return. They have delayed my project by months, they are unreliable, you can't get an estimated timeframe from them for anything. They avoid avoid avoid. Then when they say the project is done they are DESPERATE for money and threaten not to come fix "warranty" unless they are paid in full even though they are really not done and hung up a door they knew was warped just to get a check. I could go on but I think the point is made. Please note - I've known the owners for decades and this is what I've gotten -RUN!

I hired…read morethem for custom cabinetry throughout my home, and the experience was a nightmare defined by poor workmanship and a total lack of integrity. The issues began when C & F had to remove and reinstall an entire wall of kitchen cabinetry due to their own measurement error. During this process, they caused significant damage to the cabinetry. Rather than being honest, they tried to hide the damage; I had to be the one to point it out. They even attempted to blame my flooring vendor for the damage, yet they refused to meet or speak with that vendor when I offered to facilitate a call. Their "solution" for my brand-new custom cabinets was to use wood filler and faux paint to mask the damage. They also had to lengthen three different areas because the cuts were jagged and sat too high off the floor, handling the kitchen island with the same subpar patchwork. Despite my repeated requests to have the damaged pieces replaced, C & F flatly refused. It is entirely unacceptable to pay full price for "new" custom cabinetry only to be left with a product that has been filled and painted over to hide installation errors. This process caused immense stress and significant delays in my home remodel. Paying for custom, "new" cabinetry and receiving a patched-up product is a major breach of contract and industry standards. Applying wood filler and faux paint is a "cosmetic band-aid" that does not provide the structural or aesthetic longevity I paid for. Both the owners of Cabinets by C & F and the manufacturer, Superior Cabinets, were difficult to work with and refused to stand behind their product or their promises. Save yourself the stress and find a company that values quality and professional accountability.

We purchased our home in October, 2021. Papagno's did the bathroom marble installation sometime…read moremid-2020 before we took ownership. The installation was the most unprofessional I have ever seen and was unsafe. Below are photos of the marble shelf which began detaching from the wall within 10 days of our move-in. My husband, who is handicapped, had a 40 pound piece of marble dangling from the shower wall. If it had fallen, it would have been a disaster. I contacted Papgano's and their response was to put blue tape on it and to let them know the name of the general contractor. I told them, they had installed it, sent the copy of the invoice provided by the prior owner, and sent photos. Called again, to make sure the received everything . . . no response. Called next day to see if they had received the info . . . no response. Called next day to say I had contacted our handyman to make repairs because it was a hazard and we were unable to use the shower and we would send them the repair bill. That night, during dinner, we got a call from Sasha, who seemed to be their enforcer, who told us -- this is the first she had hear about the problem -- they don't pay third parties to make repairs because I guess they stand by their sub-quality work, -- and the wait time for repairs by them would be 12 weeks. I told her waiting three months to repair the 40 pound piece of marble dangling from our shower was unacceptable and a hazard they should be concerned about. I would see them in small claims court. The cost to repair it by our handyman was $270. I hope this review costs the 10 times that amount in future business.

Do not use Eclát. If I could give them -0- stars, I would…read more They were subcontracted by Tanner Materials to fabricate and install our sink tops. They measured one of the tops incorrectly, and instead of stopping the job and starting over when the mistake was brought to their attention, they "short cut" the backsplash and then "gouge cut" the top to wrap around an adjoining door jamb. The tops they installed were riddled with deep scratches that could not be buffed out. They said that these were our fault for not ensuring that the stone supplier had wrapped our slab in plastic prior to transport. Well, that is immaterial - because we actually went to Eclats' facility TWICE and inspected the slab TWICE, and there were no scratches either time. The crowning glory? They cut the sink holes IN MY FRONT YARD WITHOUT THE USE OF A TEMPLATE. Yes. They eyeballed/freehanded it. Which resulted in a completely lopsided, cockeyed product. Per the manufacturer's specs, I was supposed to have 15 1/4" x 12 1/4" usable space - and as you will see from the photos, my openings were in the 14" x 11" range. I am 52 years old. 9 of those years were spent as a general contractor, specializing in high-end bath remodels. Eclat did the absolutely worst, ridiculously unprofessional job that I have ever seen in all my life. And then to top it off, our GC tells us that Eclat will not work with us to make this right because we are a "difficult couple." Do not use Eclat. Please save yourself the hassle.
