Valley Custom Carpenters helped me restore a very large ornately carved bookshelf. I contacted Eric…read moreand got an immediate response and a quick appointment for him to visit my home and see the bookshelf in person. The shelf needed some custom trim work done to match the wood stain and overall design. I asked for a "built in" look for the bookshelf given its large size, so it feels like a main feature in the room. From start to finish, Eric exceeded my expectations for the project. He was a pleasure to work with, very responsive to my requests, and fairly priced for the work he did. The fact that he has a design background in addition to carpentry skills set him apart from other woodworkers and "handymen" in the area. (I hate to even throw that handyman term out in relation to Eric because he is truly an artist!!!) The bookshelf repair and custom trim project took a couple of weeks total to complete as he squeezed me into his schedule between larger jobs, but the work turned out perfectly and was totally worth the wait! Eric did some of the work on site at my home (measuring and cutting), but completed other aspects at his own workshop (staining and fine details), before returning to do the final install. I'd love to hire Valley Custom Carpenters again for another project or two. The quality of the work and the excellent customer service can't be beat! Thank you Eric!

He lied repeatedly and I recorded our entire conversation. He said that my address was not within Ikea service limits, this is untrue and verified in person at the Ikea Tempe location before and after our interaction and via email. He also lied and told me that he could not install my design which I worked with two Ikea consultants to complete. One consultant helped me create it and another verified it before purchase, there was nothing wrong with my design. He simply did not want to do the job and tried to place the blame my location and design when the blame can only be placed on his unprofessionalism. While he was on my property, he said I needed to speak with Ikea to verify that my design was okay to install, so I called Ikea to verify his claims and while I was on the phone he packed up and left even though he told me he was not leaving. He then told Ikea management that I was unruly and chased him out of my home. I would never treat anyone that way and I had video recording of him leaving my home. I stood on my porch and did not speak to him as I was on the phone with an Ikea representative, and I had a contractor on site as witness who witnessed his leaving and our interaction as well. I will not be slandered, especially by someone of such low moral character. All of the proof I collected via audio and video allowed me to receive proper compensation from Ikea, but beware of these terrible business practices.

The owner was out right on time to take measurements and worked with me on a start time since I was still waiting on painters. Expert installers for everything - I didn't want to move out my new washer & dryer since they would have to be outside while the floor dries, but the installers did an excellent job getting the floor coating as close to them as possible. The cabinets came about 2 weeks later and they are essentially built into you space. My guest shower is on the other side of where the workbench and a hanging cabinet were going and they were careful during the install. Very sturdy construction and they hold up to dings while you figure out where to put all your stuff. Highly recommend Precision Garage Works to make your garage functional and classy! Thank you!!

I love a great deal and I'm so glad I found this shop. I've been fretting over some new toilets for…read morethe past few months now, I know, a sad adult issue, but these toilets really were in a state of dismay. After attempting to trade internal parts out of my existing toilets I found out the manufacturer stopped building that model, they were made with non-standard sizes and I could no longer order a flapper to fit my tanks. My options were replaced the tanks or replace the toilets. So off I went, and let me tell you, making decisions on a toilet is harder than it seems. Will I go two piece, one piece, which has the better flush, least prone to clogging, which is more comfortable, easier to clean, do I spend $200 per toilet or $700 per toilet for the nicer ones, the standard big box stores are open all day every day but the plumbing supply stores are only open mon-frindurimg my work hours so looking at a higher end brand and model isn't possible. Months of back and forth fretting all these decisions and one day I ran into an ad for HIW advertising toilets, AND, they're open on Saturdays. I checked them out, I was able to see and feel the toilets I was considering, and I walked out the door with two of them. First off, their stock is overstock, so be sure to check your product for any blemishes or damages, second, the cost for their products are about half the original retail price. I'm happy because I got the $500 toilets for $300 and I now have two new one piece toilets acquired at a very reasonable cost! I checked out the rest of the store while I was there, they had some nice full length mirrors, a row of tubs, three or four sets of outdoor furniture, an aisle of toilets, sinks, cabinets, flooring and countertops. They offer installation on their flooring and cabinets here and with the prices I found, I'd seriously consider checking them out if I'm planning a kitchen or bathroom renovation. The staff was friendly, welcomed us in as and helped me carry and load the toilets in to my vehicle. I'll 100% be back again the next time I'm in the market for a home improvement product they keep in stock. The prices here are hard to beat! Beautiful, high quality, creative work!…read more When I was graduating from college my aunt asked me what I wanted as a graduation gift. I told her the only thing I wanted was a big beautiful white desk! I wanted something special and unique, nothing plain or boring. (A desk from Ikea wasn't going to cut it.) My aunt decided she wanted to surprise me with a custom build desk rather than just having me pick one out, so after searching online I found Tina's Custom Counter Tops. I gave Tina a call and we arranged a time to meet at her office so we could we discuss what I was looking for in a desk. She asked me several questions i wouldn't have thought mattered when designing a desk. She asked me questions such as how high up in my chair i like to sit, how much storage space did I need, where would I place my computer, what things would I put on my desk, what type of things would i store in my desk draws, where would I want my clients to sit ect. The thought that went into her questions made me feel like she knew exactly what she was doing and that I was in good hands! Tina promised me my desk would be completed by the morning of my graduation so I could stop by and see it before I went to my ceremony... she made good on that promise! When I arrived to see my desk for the first time, Tina personally walked me into her warehouse where it was beautifully assembled and waiting for me. The desk was not only made from gorgeous materials but it was also 100% tailored to my needs, it was very clear that she put thought and CARE into designing and building my desk. Oh and just when I thought I couldn't be happier with Tina's service, her installer Jerry delivered my desk to my apartment (carrying it up 5 flights of stairs), assembled it, and gave it a final clean. Tina really makes some eye popping, custom pieces of work and truly respects her customers needs! I highly recommend her, thanks Tina's Custom Counter Tops!

Due to scheduling issues with another contractor the project duration ended up being much longer than originally planned. Yet Nate stayed engaged and responsive through the delay. His work quality was excellent and I really enjoyed interacting with him throughout the project. While he usually is doing finish carpentry I really appreciated the precision and attention to detail that he gave to my framing project. While nobody will actually see his work (it will be covered in stone and tile), it provides the foundation for a beautiful finished product. I also appreciated Nate's willingness to make suggestions and offer advice regarding the project, even on areas that he wasn't directly working on. As a homeowner with little construction experience managing the remodel project I valued his inputs. I heartily recommend Nate and Heritage Crown and Millworks for carpentry and cabinetry. What started as emergency repairs quickly became two full bathroom renovations, new flooring, additional fixes, and an elective partial kitchen refresh we'd always wanted to do.
