We went to Home Depot for carpet and scheduled a measurement. We then went to Cost +20 (same parking lot) to look at backsplash tile. We found the tile and mentioned the carpet. Beth also gave us a quote on the carpet. Beth found the exact same carpet and beat Home Depot on the price. On a Wednesday, we put down a deposit for the carpet. On Friday (9 calendar days later) the carpet was installed without a complaint from us. We are now waiting for the tile which is on back order. Beth is very friendly and easy to work with. read more

Beth did a great job assisting us with picking out tile. Unfortunately, the service went drastically downhill when it came to installation. It was a small job consisting of replacing the backsplash in our kitchen. We were told on 2 different occasions that the job would take 2 days. The installation eventually took 4 days. The problems started when the worker failed to show up on time the first day; arriving 4 hours late because he was finishing another job. A supervisor stopped by on day 2 and informed us that the worker should be able to finish that day. Work was not completed on day 2. We finally spoke with the owner at end of day #3 who assured us that the work would be completed in 2 hours the next morning, day 4. She also stated that she personally would be out to check the progress and any issues with the quality of the work. The work was not completed in 2 hours (it took 3 hours) and the owner never showed up or called. The work quality is average at best. The communication has been awful. I do not recommend their services. read more

It started out good when we purchased the tile but when it came time to getting the work done, it fell apart - miserable experience. A one day job took 3 days. Jeff our sales guy would sayone thing one day and then forget everything the next day. Dealing with Jeff - Put everything and I mean everything in writing. Installers showed up on Sunday with no tools to cut and it took until late Wednesday night to finish. Also make sure Installers lay paper or something to protect your clean floor. Our Installers walk through the house tracking the grout and dust throughout. read more

Nightmare experience!! If there was a lower rating, I'd give it. A small bathroom remodel that SHOULD have taken 2 weeks tops, ended up taking 4 months. Yes, I said 4 MONTHS!! Was promised to start November 14 and to be done by November the 27th -was delayed to start until November 26th. Okay still thinking 1-2 weeks. By Christmas for sure....They had our $7000 deposit, what could go wrong...?? The wall tile that I go bamboozled into getting was nice until the whole order came in with 30 different patterns/variations to it. It was horrible. Jeff should have know this about his product. Jeff also over ordered all the tile by double. So does that mean the labor costs were doubled?? So had to start all over. The new wall tile took 2 months to get in. Finally, January 28 start up with a bunch of down time and not full days worked by the crews. That was not ok and in a discussion with Jeff about our displeasure, he yelled at me and put me in tears. They finally finished on February 15th!! They NEVER gave us a proper labor break down as we repeatedly requested. No apologies from the owner who knows nothing about customer service or from Jeff for yelling at his customer. We took our plans to another location just to see if we were being over charged and by coincidence their labor quote was half of what we were charged. Stay clear!! read more

I had my bathroom remodeled by Cost Plus 20% and was very very disappointed by their owner, Amanda. We had a few issues and when she came to look at the very MINOR things that needed to be done her answer to me was "There's NOTHING we can do about that". It was simply repainting a wall....Are you KIDDING me? She came into my home with her arms crossed (very poor body language) never even introduced herself to me....I had to extend my hand to her. The ONLY good thing about Cost Plus 20% WAS...Sandra Imig (but fortunately for HER she left this sub par company). After my job was complete and was PAID IN FULL...I received calls from the contractors that did work on this project saying they were NEVER PAID! I was appalled. This was what should have been a simple bathroom remodel. It took longer than expected. Shower was wrong dimensions, countertop came as 1 piece when it should have been 3. Wrong hardware was ordered. There were no plans with specs so contractors were confused. Tile guy did good work. Salesperson Jeff got confused alot and was very forgetful and was not good about returing calls. Bought flooring from this company. Very haphazard about scheduling - left hand doesn't know what right is doing. Owner Chris uses his father's company to do installations. Very poor installation job, they left the floors filthy after installation, took me all day to clean. Two gouges in flooring and crooked installation of transition strip. Installation company owner "Zip" accused me of lying about damage and said I did it with furniture! On top of that, found cash missing from one of the rooms and had to file a police report! Would not recommend this company specifically because of them using their father to do installations. read more

Everything was handled professionally and I certainly would use them again as well as recommend my friends and family.
