Chris came out to give me a quote and Spencer did the install. Seamless from start to finish. Thank you for your quality work and product. I have doubled my storage space with the pull out shelves. Definitely worth doing if anyone is considering it. AND I love not having to crawl on the floor to get things out of the back of the bottom cabinets! read more

I went back to them for a single additional pushback shelf. I wish they had told me when I scheduled for the measuring that the installation of one shelf was $250. More than the cost of the shelf itself. There's nothing special about me, but it it's the third time I came to this company and, while they did discount the installation, it was pretty clear that my loyalty wasn't a priority. Business is business, I get it. read more

Great company, Great value! Chris, The Owner, personally came to our house. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He wrote our comprehensive estimate for pull-outs in all our kitchen cabinets as well as for our master bathroom vanities and our lower stop-n-drop cabinet. Scheduling was immediate; Steve, our installer did a fantastic job, including a challenging task of repairing the damaged metal track on one of our existing deep utility drawers, which we really needed and appreciated. Subsequently, we added another 9 feet of cabinetry in our kitchen, and of course we again hired Shelf Theory to not only add pull-outs to the new cabinets but also to convert all the existing doors and drawers to soft-close. We wanted to convert 1/2 of the new lower pantry-size cabinet to a "Utility" for storing our step ladder, and we knew that Chris would know just what to do. In fact, I insisted that Chris himself would handle this request, and he did not disappoint. Along with his trusty assistant, Craig, they expertly accomplished the modification as well as the complete conversion to soft-close in record time. We were amazed at how quickly they accomplished this work and how meticulously they were in precisely adjusting the tension for each soft-close. We could not be happier with the quality, value and superb workmanship we received from Chris and his team at Shelf Theory. And thank you very much for the Veteran discount, Chris. We very highly recommend Shelf Theory, and we will call them again for our next project. And remember, guys: "Happy Wife, Happy Life!" read more

We decided a few weeks ago to have pull out shelves installed in our kitchen lower cabinets and in 2 of our hall cabinets. So, we did our due diligence and called 3 different companies for bids. The first 2 companies were able to come out within a couple of days of our calling them. The third company would not be able to come out for about 10 days. The first company's bid was the lowest of the first 2 bids. Lower by a lot, about $4500! We were thinking of cancelling the appointment we had with the third company, but decided against it. Were we glad we did. The third company was Shelf Theory. Chris Boling, the owner of the company, came out and was very thorough and listened to what we wanted to have done. He even suggested that they could put in a drawer beneath the range where there was just one of those blank-off boards. The other 2 companies told us they couldn't do this. One said that they could put in one of the tilt out type of drawer, but that was not something that we wanted. We hadn't even mentioned this to Chris. He took a look and said there was room for a drawer that would be shorter than our other drawers, but he could fit one in there that was 18" deep. Hey, that works! (See photo). Once we decided to go with Shelf Theory and called them, they were out within a week to do the install. John was the installer. In addition to the pull-out shelves (20 total), he installed the soft close hinges on our cabinet doors (53 hinges total) and installed the soft close glides on the rest of the drawers in the kitchen area. Shelf Theory was not the cheapest of the 3 bids, but they were far below the more expensive bid and we believe that we got the superior product. My wife and I highly recommend this company. A pleasure to work with. read more

This family owned company us a pleasure to work with. Teagan in the office is so responsive and texts all the time if anything changes on your appointment for a quote or delivery of the shelves. Chris was our sales rep and he was timely and helpful. Was able to measure and answered all my questions. Although there was a month to wait for my order when the preset day arrived Mario called to say he was on his way. He arrived and installation took no time at all. I got the soft close shelves and are happy with them. No mess no problems. I would recommend shelf theory to update your cabinets with pull out shelves. read more

Love my new pull out drawers. Who knew what a difference in my life these would make? Hmmm I guess they did. It's a little weird deciding how to re-arrange your stuff, but the consultant gave me good ideas and measurements so I was able to decide how many shelves and then, the installer helped me decided the measurements for height. It could have been very frustrating but they made it easier. So couldn't be happier with my new shelves. Very clean and timely install. read more

GAME CHANGER! This is one of the best investments I have ever made. Adding pull-out shelves to our kitchen and bathroom from Shelf Theory was brilliant! I have bad knees that make it difficult to get down on the floor and rummage through the back of cabinets. Now all I have to do is pull out the drawers and, voila, all my pans, dishes, appliances, and everything else is at my fingertips. These are an absolute Godsend and I highly recommend Shelf Theory. Dawn was instrumental in making suggestions and providing recommendations as to what would work best and fit our needs. Kyle did an incredible istallation and was so patient considereing all the shelves we had installed. The wait time was minimal, they were professional, courteous, and a real gem. Trust me... once you go with Shelf Theory you will never regret it. read more

These folks made it easy and painless. Our in-home estimate was arranged quickly. We liked the fact that the estimate was conducted by the same person who installed the product. He showed up with his mask, and answered all of our questions well. Installation day, Patrick called before arriving on time. The shelves were installed in the time estimated. We love our new shelves! I'll plan to return a year from now with a review of how well the shelves hold up with use. Having no children in the house, I suspect they'll be just fine! We absolutely love our new shelves! read more

Super Great People and high quality Shelves. Called them off an ad I got in the Sunday paper for a special price on ten shelves. I had done some price comparisons prior to the estimator coming out so I knew what the prices should be in general. To my surprise their quote was less than doing it myself (and they probably did a better job). I ended up ordering shelves for the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. My wife is so happy and I am happy too. On time, on budget, quality product, great people. What more can you ask for? Johnny read more

I am the happy owner of new shelves for my kitchen and bathroom cabinets installed by Kyle this morning. The entire process with Shelf Theory was very easy and pleasant. I had thought about installing shelves available from Home Depot or the Containter Store, but I am not very handy at installation and I didn't want to ruin my new cabinets. Thankfully, I learned about Shelf Theory at the Maricopa home show in March. The price offered by Shelf Theory was very competitive because I know a self-installation would have been an involved process (and my time and sanity are worth something). After a no-obligation estimate where they measured my cabinets and discussed the various options (sizes, finishes and layouts) available, I selected the layout that I wanted. The custom-built shelves were installed approximately two weeks later. The fit and finish are great and they make my deep kitchen cabinets much more functional and useful. I am happy to support a locally owned business that values customer service and stands behind their product. read more

We have your typical contractor grade kitchen. Nice cabinets with 80% of wasted space in each base cabinet. And pot drawers with crappy slider brackets that barely function. We hired Shelf Theory to come in and give us a better solution for our base cabinets, knife drawer, and pot drawers. They measured twice, designed each pullout shelf to fit outer needs, and made each from scratch, and installed them! THEY WORK LIKE A DREAM. Solid! Well built! Makes our entire kitchen so much more functional! read more

Dawn and her team we're on time at all the appointments scheduled from start to finish. This has to have been one of the easiest companies I have ever worked with on getting projects done in my home. Overall was a tremendously great experience. Compared to a lot of other companies that give you a general time frame for appointments Dawn made it all easy and gave me realistic expectations and insight on all the work I had done. Now my wife and kids can have the ease and freedom of getting to everything in our pantry and cabinets without having to climb half way in to get to anything in the back. We are a family of Seven with FIVE little ones ranging from 8 years old to 8 months old so we need all the space we can get! The things you find joy in at age 50... After many years of efficiency and organizational frustrations.. particularly in the kitchen, when trying to dig out that one plate or gadget or spice that you need way back in the cabinet AND you have to pull out ALL those other plates/gadgets/spices clanking away and hoping nothing breaks or chips during your mental tirade of wanting to chuck everything across the room. You know what I'm talking about, Right?!?! AND, to add salt to the wound.... your knees and back are laughing and just waiting for you to try and get back up! THEN... when you finally get to what you need..you look at that pile you have to put back...Madona Mia PAZIENZA!!! THEN Shelf Theory came in and saved my days... Goodbye kitchen Frustration!!! I can't say enough GREAT things about this company!!! December 30th I called 3 companies and expressed my time constraints for scheduling the 1st appointment. Dawn Hawco with Shelf Theory was the only one who offered to come out on New Years day. I couldn't do that to her.. so she came Sat Jan 2nd (the other were 2 to 6 weeks out.) She was here for a few hours as we went cabinet by cabinet, asking me questions in getting to know my challenges and coming up with solutions that fit my wants and needs. God bless her...she has the patience of a Saint. I called her back on Monday and scheduled the installs. I broke it up in 2 parts so that I can get a better sense of functionality. I'm glad I did! Kyle Hall came and did the install. Kyle was on time, professional, clean, polite!!! The best experience I have had with any contractors ever! Smooth Sailing from start to finish!! Now, they were a bit more expensive than another known Co out there...but Shelf Theory's product was superior (in particular the hardware) And, they were the only ones that accomodated my needs from the start. Needless to say...I AM SO STINKIN THRILLED about my kitchen, ESPECIALLY my spice drawer!!! The shelves pull all the way out so even stuff in the back is accessable. Having a half shelf in all my cabinets to now full and multiple shelves...I've gained so much more space, functionality, organization and SANITY!!! THANK YOU SHELF THEORY, Dawn AND Kyle!!! read more

Love, Love,Love my pull outs! Had these done back in September. I moved into the house in November. Everytime I go into my pantry I am so please to have the ability to pull these shelves out because otherwise I would need a ladder. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the shelves we had installed, as well as the overall experience. I called Shelf Theory and one other company to schedule an appointment for an estimate to do 18-20 shelves in my kitchen. Shelf Theory booked me on the spot. The other company took my info and told me they'd have someone call me back. After 2 days with no call, I called back and got the same treatment. To this day, no call. I place a HUGE premium on service and responsiveness and Shelf Theory is top notch. The shelves were ready in about 2 weeks (just as promised) and we had an installation scheduled for the following week. They were even kind enough to schedule in the afternoon so my daughter that works a night shift could sleep in. You can really tell this is a family business that listens. The installation took 2 hours almost exactly (again, just as estimated) and the 2 installers were extremely professional and helpful. They asked questions throughout the process to make sure they were 100% in line with our expectations and did the job right the first time. They cleaned up after themselves, wore PPE the entire time, and made sure they walked us through every part of the installation before leaving to make sure we were 100% satisfied. The real kicker for me was when we had a minor mishap with one shelf and a spacer came out. We called them immediately, but they were already across town. The installer came back ON A SUNDAY to make the repair. Can't say enough about how happy we are, how much we enjoy the new shelves, and how glad I am that I'll never have to get down on my knees to get stuff out of my cabinets anymore. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a very cost effective and functional kitchen upgrade. read more

Last week we had 10 roll out (sliding) shelves added to our kitchen pantry. John from Shelf Theory came out to measure and give our estimate as well as returning a couple of weeks later for the installation. We absolutely LOVE them! We knew it was time when our knees and backs starting bothering us. We had not idea just how convenient these shelves would be. Now we can find things that seemed to get lost in the back of our pantry shelves. I can't tell you how much food we've thrown out over the years due to being expired. Most in the back of the stationary shelves. Not anymore! Now we can use a rotational system to ensure foods don't expire before they can be used. This fall, we plan to add 10 more pull outs to other lower kitchen cabinets. John was so professional. He took his time explaining the process and helping us make the best choice in roll outs for our pantry. On his return trip he was punctual, organized and informative when explaining the use, care and warranty for our new shelves. Thank you John and Shelf Theory! read more
