Great company, Great value! Chris, The Owner, personally came to our house. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He wrote our comprehensive estimate for pull-outs in all our kitchen cabinets as well as for our master bathroom vanities and our lower stop-n-drop cabinet. Scheduling was immediate; Steve, our installer did a fantastic job, including a challenging task of repairing the damaged metal track on one of our existing deep utility drawers, which we really needed and appreciated. Subsequently, we added another 9 feet of cabinetry in our kitchen, and of course we again hired Shelf Theory to not only add pull-outs to the new cabinets but also to convert all the existing doors and drawers to soft-close. We wanted to convert 1/2 of the new lower pantry-size cabinet to a "Utility" for storing our step ladder, and we knew that Chris would know just what to do. In fact, I insisted that Chris himself would handle this request, and he did not disappoint. Along with his trusty assistant, Craig, they expertly accomplished the modification as well as the complete conversion to soft-close in record time. We were amazed at how quickly they accomplished this work and how meticulously they were in precisely adjusting the tension for each soft-close. We decided a few weeks ago to have pull out shelves installed in our kitchen lower cabinets and in 2 of our hall cabinets. So, we did our due diligence and called 3 different companies for bids. The first 2 companies were able to come out within a couple of days of our calling them. The third company would not be able to come out for about 10 days. The first company's bid was the lowest of the first 2 bids. Lower by a lot, about $4500! We were thinking of cancelling the appointment we had with the third company, but decided against it. Were we glad we did. The third company was Shelf Theory. Chris Boling, the owner of the company, came out and was very thorough and listened to what we wanted to have done. He even suggested that they could put in a drawer beneath the range where there was just one of those blank-off boards. The other 2 companies told us they couldn't do this. One said that they could put in one of the tilt out type of drawer, but that was not something that we wanted. We hadn't even mentioned this to Chris. He took a look and said there was room for a drawer that would be shorter than our other drawers, but he could fit one in there that was 18" deep. Hey, that works! (See photo). Once we decided to go with Shelf Theory and called them, they were out within a week to do the install. John was the installer. In addition to the pull-out shelves (20 total), he installed the soft close hinges on our cabinet doors (53 hinges total) and installed the soft close glides on the rest of the drawers in the kitchen area. Shelf Theory was not the cheapest of the 3 bids, but they were far below the more expensive bid and we believe that we got the superior product. My wife and I highly recommend this company. Last week we had 10 roll out (sliding) shelves added to our kitchen pantry. John from Shelf Theory came out to measure and give our estimate as well as returning a couple of weeks later for the installation. We absolutely LOVE them! My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the shelves we had installed, as well as the overall experience. I called Shelf Theory and one other company to schedule an appointment for an estimate to do 18-20 shelves in my kitchen. Shelf Theory booked me on the spot. The other company took my info and told me they'd have someone call me back. After 2 days with no call, I called back and got the same treatment. To this day, no call. I place a HUGE premium on service and responsiveness and Shelf Theory is top notch. The shelves were ready in about 2 weeks (just as promised) and we had an installation scheduled for the following week. They were even kind enough to schedule in the afternoon so my daughter that works a night shift could sleep in. You can really tell this is a family business that listens. The installation took 2 hours almost exactly (again, just as estimated) and the 2 installers were extremely professional and helpful. They asked questions throughout the process to make sure they were 100% in line with our expectations and did the job right the first time. They cleaned up after themselves, wore PPE the entire time, and made sure they walked us through every part of the installation before leaving to make sure we were 100% satisfied. The real kicker for me was when we had a minor mishap with one shelf and a spacer came out. We called them immediately, but they were already across town. The installer came back ON A SUNDAY to make the repair. Can't say enough about how happy we are, how much we enjoy the new shelves, and how glad I am that I'll never have to get down on my knees to get stuff out of my cabinets anymore.
