We consulted with several local closet companies and ultimately found that L&B (Jordan) was the only one actually listening to our needs, design ideas and timing. He sat down with us in real-time to discuss the layout, space and wish list for the master closet. This was complicated given we were also bringing some of the master bathroom flooring into the closet and leveraging some of the granite for the top of the island. We needed the closet colors to work with the flooring as well. Again, Jordan came through with a great 2-tone design that really complimented the bathroom and flooring. Given everything we did, L&B was competitive with their pricing and were able to schedule relatively quickly. Our installers (sorry, bad with names!) were nice guys, respectful and made quick work of our job. Despite some troubles with the LED lighting, Travis, the project manager made good on his word to come by (multiple times) to ensure everything was fixed and working to our satisfaction. I had the standard single bar and shelf walk-in closet in my Master BR and I had no place for shoes and purses and I was going to have to buy another dresser to be able to put away all our clothes. I originally reached out to Space Solutions, LB Closets and one other place I found on Yelp. I also got a quote from Modular Closets which is an online DIY install closet company. The first quote I got was from Space Solutions and it was $5500 which was WAY over my expectations and budget. When Lance from LB called to confirm the appt I told him never mind if their pricing is in line with Space Solutions. He convinced me to let him come give me a quote and I was so glad I did. He quoted a better closet and it was thousands less. In fact, it was only $500 more than the DIY closet place which was worth it to have it installed. Brandon W. and Caleb I. showed up to do the install which happened much faster than the 6 weeks I thought I would have to wait for the install. They were on time, friendly, and professional. They installed the closet and were done in under 5 hours! I LOVE my closet and I will def use them again for future organization projects! read more

We moved into an older home with no walk in closet in our primary bedroom, I knew I needed some organization and help. I found LB Closets, sent an email and within 24 hours received a reply from Victoria. We scheduled an appointment for later that week. Victoria was helpful and knowledgeable, she asked lots of questions about what we wanted from our new closet and listened very well. I figured she would leave and then send us some quotes/plans in a few days, but I was pleasantly surprised when she sat down at our dining room table and within 20-30 minutes had two designs along with the quotes. She answered our questions, asked if we wanted to change anything with the plans and then said she would send us an email later in the day with the plans to review on our own. She did just that and we chose our plan. Our closet was completed on the day it was scheduled and we love it. We were looking at doing our walk-in closet on our own using a system from IKEA. However when we were ready to buy, they didn't have all the pieces needed and the line to get in the store was ridiculously long. L&B Closets was recommended to us and so we called them and got a design from Brando. Brando listened to what were looking for/needing and came up with a design very similar to what we were already looking to do. The cost was a little higher than IKEA, but to have them professionally installed and lifetime warranty, we were sold. After a couple weeks our products were in. The installers showed up and had the whole system in within a couple hours. It's looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier. We would definitely recommend this company. I HIGHLY recommend L&B closets. The owners have over 20 years experience in the closet building business (they even owned a California Closets franchise at one time and decided to go off on their own). I live in the Scottsdale/Phoenix are of town. I recently had my Master Closet redone by L & B. The backstory is that I obtained three other closet estimates from competing companies in the Valley and no one compared to L&B. Nick from L & B stopped in, took time to listen to what I wanted/needed, took 10 minutes to measure my closet and anther 15 minutes to create a computerized 3-D design right at my kitchen table. After a few iterations over the next week (with my suggestions and additions), my closet was ready to build. Nick is patient, kind, and a true professional!! He not only designed my closet, he also constructed it. I like the fact that he not only designed by built my closet as he knew EXACTLY how I wanted it done. L & B doesn't nickle and dime you, like other companies. They have a basic cost and then you can add on items, as necessary, with no hidden fees, ie crown molding, slide out belt hooks, etc... The closet tear out, patching, and painting are included in the price as well (I supplied the paint). I am so very happy - make that thrilled - with my new master bedroom closet. I had a great experience with this company. I saw them at the home show and purchased their showroom garage cabinets. They delivered the next day and returned the following day to install and add hardware. We are waiting on a door that needed to be ordered as we changed the original configuration at the home show. Lance was easy to work with and very quick to respond to any phone calls or emails. The quality is by far the best I have ever seen for a garage with quiet close doors and drawers and powder coated finish. To sum it up they don't keep their word, take advantage of the client, overcharge, no follow-up or no communication, difficult to work with, and do a sloppy job. I would not refer or use them again. I highly advise against using this company. I am a business owner myself and I was appalled that they raised the price of their closet order to cover the cost of 10% referral fee that they agreed to. I refer out about $30,000 - $40,000 in cabinet, garage and closet jobs a month. And I believe that when you are giving that much business to another company it they should pay a referral fee. This was my first time using them and it is the last. After raising the price L&B Closets refused to pay the referral. They kept passing it off back and forth to each other and now refuse to return calls or pay. Now for my client's issues with them: When the order was ready for install, they did not give us notice nor did they call with any updates. I had to call them and still never got a clear answer to when the order would be completed and ready for install. When the order arrived, they called with an hour notice and they would not work around anyone else's schedule. They made me find someone who had a key to let them in, they were not willing to work with anyone else's schedule. They could careless that the owner was out of town and that I was on another job. VERY DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. Who gives a hour notice and unwilling to reschedule. Then they said that they sent the invoice and called and was completely rude to myself and clients and neither of us got an invoice. They are so unorganized no one knows what the other one is doing nor do they communicate, just pass the buck off to someone else. The worst part is I had to go behind them and clean up the mess they left behind in my client's home. Taking my time, losing money and it made me look bad since I referred them. That also is unacceptable to me. The whole experience was horrible. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review for a company, I don't believe in harming them. But this company cost me more time, energy, stress and effort than the stupid 10% referral fee would have been. read more
