Bought a ($625) Grohe kitchen faucet from the Mesa store in 2011.Since then have had 2 under-sink leaks from defective hoses on the faucet. Am going on my 3rd hose in 7 years (tough to swallow at the price point). Even though the factory will replace parts for 10 years after purchase, I am still paying for the repair to replace the part. I reached out first to the Mesa store where I had purchased the faucet. Hoped for some support but just got referred to the factory (no asking me what my situation was or how they could help) When I called the Payson store, I was hoping the smaller town shop folks would be more customer friendly, and I got lucky. Gail answered, asked about my problem and offered to advocate for me with the factory. Although the factory did not offer an optimal solution, I believe that with Gail's involvement, I got the very best treatment the factory would deliver. We were told not to worry about the prices because that was retail price and we would get a break through our designer. HARDLY. It would have better to have bought our items from a big box retailer. The Big Boxes have better warranties as well. 2.We ordered toilet paper holders. Once installed we did not like them, we thought it was a design problem but apparently the manufacturer wouldn't accept a return. a. CAS would not help us in any way. b. CAS never advised us that items were non-returnable for any reason. c. Even though we ordered replacement items, there was no price offset. 3. Before learning about the extent of the no return policy, we had mistakenly ordered 1 extra clothes hook. Even though that hook was never taken out of the box, CAS would not accept a return. Conclusion: They are friendly and polite; they have pretty hardware; there is NO customer service or problem resolution.
