I've been looking for a few different kitchen items and wanted to see if they offered them and at what cost. I was greeted right away and began browsing a bit. There were some great items ranging from hot sauces and seasoning to Cold brew presses and such. There was a great selection of coffee mugs, pizza stones and woks. I even found a cute little mini wisk to stir my coffee. Necessity right? Ha ha The store was very clean and organized. There was a small selection of left over Christmas decor on clearance. I found a nice wok that came with some extra items that will make the perfect gift for someone I know. Some items I felt were quite overpriced, but that's my own option. Service at check out was a little less friendly and I felt like she was bothered having to stop what she was doin mg to help us. She was still polite, but not very friendly. All in all good little shop.

Standing at the front, the layout of the store felt really open. As we continued to walk around and browse, another staff member greeted us, asked if we were looking for anything in particular, and told us where we could find the clearance section because there were some good items on sale. They did have some cute kitchen items on sale, leftover from Easter and Mother's Day. Separately, I saw a whole section of items with a beautiful orchid design. I ended up getting a large kitchen linen with the orchids on it as a gift. Everything in the store always looks high quality, and I love shopping there!

They open right at 11 AM on the dot. Right now they're also doing a little Sunday (free) cooking series at participating stores. It ended up being more of a household item/demo than an actual hands-on cooking class, but hey... free food is free food. I went a little out of my way thinking I'd get to participate more, so I wouldn't say it's worth making a special trip unless you already have errands nearby. One thing I loved is that a lot of their online sale items are available in-store too, and everything is displayed so neatly that shopping is super easy. The sales associates were also so sweet and fun! Just a heads-up: there are parking garages, but they fill up pretty quickly on weekends!

My best friend introduced me to Shea Cheese and I think I am now their biggest fan…read more I love cheese and supporting small businesses, so this was the perfect marriage. I have visited twice (so far!) and been thoroughly impressed. With my first visit, my bestie and I shared a two-person sized board with no meat, so maximum cheese. We were able to sample the cheeses before committing them to a spot on our board. The team at Shea Cheese paired our selections with other charcuterie items to make a perfect grazing board. We also spilt the turkey and brie sandwich. The sandwich was paired with the most delicious kettle chips as well. For my second visit, I went with the pizza grilled cheese (sans olives) and got a pimento cheese sandwich to go for my mother. We were both beyond pleased with our grub. Of note, right next door to Shea Cheese is Shea Lounge, which is a little bookstore and lounge to enjoy your cheesy items. I am beyond impressed by this spot and am already looking forward to my next visit.

I like Kohler products and was happy to see there is a showroom in Scottsdale. It is in a funny location like the backside of a strip mall, but navigation got me there no problem. Excellent customer service. Very friendly. Upon entering we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted any water. They have so much took at from bathrooms to kitchens and even an indoor sauna but apparently this is the higher end of Kohler and the lines that have available here are different from what you might find at Home Depot, Lowes and Costco. There were so many great ideas and I love that they have the entire collections grouped together with the different bathroom fixtures and then little display areas throughout the store. Why is it that I am always gravitating towards the most expensive thing in the store? There were so many cool things like recessed body length medicine cabinets, a very cool customizable vanity, bidets (from standard to Cadillac!!) and then smart showers -- I mean if only!!! I do wish they had some color brochures to take home with you because it is so hard to see online, but I did appreciate that one I had the knowledge about the different collections and finishes I could go back home to the website and make more choices. Another area that was bit annoying is they had items that were discontinued still on display -- so you had to ask if the item was available still --- I guess twice a year they have a sale of these discontinued or floor models but he said it wasn't going to be happening for a while. The sales guy did mention that you get a better cost going directly through the showroom as opposed to ordering off the internet -- so I will be keeping that in mind. Overall I was happy with my experience and likely will be purchasing some French Gold fixtures.
