From rich dark chocolate to creamy oat milk and white chocolate, Menchaca Chocolates crafts every bite with care. They also offer sampler boxes. On my visit, I picked up the chocolate covered spicy mangos. Who knew dark chocolate covered mangos would be so addictive. Highly recommend! The habanero sea salt is what gives it a little kick, but it's not too spicy where it burns your mouth. I also bought a chocolate bar covered in toffee. They offer chocolate and art workshops; where you can emerse your senses in cacao beans grinding, nibs roasting, fluid chocolate hardening, and create your own chocolate bar! The choices of chocolate are dark, oat milk and white chocolate. With over 40 toppings to choose from and customize your own chocolate bar. I'm looking forward to taking a class here soon!

I think my biggest issue here was just in the way the chocolate workshop is described as a "make…read moreyour own chocolate bar." I've done chocolate workshops where we literally got cacao beans from bods, roasted and dried them, them mixed with other ingredients to make chocolate, this is not that. This is really an arts and crafts project where you just happen to take home some chocolate at the end. That being said, the chocolate base is quite good, from the dark chocolate (which I normally don't like), through the milk chocolate, and the white chocolate. Each of the base is already made, then they give you a ton of toppings to customize your own bar. I will say I wish they would have suggested us to push in the topping a bit more into the mold, as much of the toppings came off when we ate them later. After this 10 min process of customizing your bar, the rest of the time is spent just decorating your box. They do have an extensive collection of art materials, it was just a bit of a let down that it felt like 90% crafts. Beyond that, the service could have been better. It was very stand off-ish. We ended up decorating our box for what felt like an hr cause no one came to tell us our chocolate was ready. And it just really felt like we had no idea what was going on throughout the process. Staff was nice, just not very informative.

We opened the box at our party we attended and sadly no one wanted them. The host sent us home with them.. A bit embarrassing It seems we were required to pay more for frosting after we paid $35.00 for a dozen cupcakes ‍ I never write less than par reviews.. I hope this place corrects this without hurriedly sending cupcakes already boxed without speaking with the client explaining to them that icing was "extra" and not taking the time to place the cupcakes right side up so the client isn't surprised with cupcakes not looking like pretty cupcakes.

Simply a stoner's, snacker and munchie's delight!…read more I had happened upon Las Uvas on multiple occasions before actually giving it a try... 1) I saw it on the GrubHub app and it sparked my curiosity. 2) They were previously on the Axxess app for a buy one, get one bottle of wine (no longer available) 3) I have passed by Las Uvas countless times while cutting through the industrial park that its hidden in (near Goleta Red Distilling). Last night I swung by Target for an online order prior to company visiting and also happened to have had a killer sweet tooth. Las Uvas immediately popped in my mind. If you visit their website, they have a lengthy menu of what they offer. While they don't seem to make anything they sell themselves; instead they purchase wholesale items and offer them for curbside pick-up or delivery (via GrubHub, Seamless, DoorDash or through themselves directly). Their schtick is they sell desserts and wines on demand! Their endless options include: - Bottles of champagne, local wines (white, red and rose from Santa Barbara Winery, Carr, Lafond, Fess Parker, Rancho Sisquoc and common commercial brands); Keep in mind that they check IDs upon delivery!! - Ice cream and gelato by the pint (McConnell's, Talenti, and Ben & Jerry's) - Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and pie slices - Individual ice cream bars and mochi, flavored ice - Krispy Kreme donuts - A large assortment of candies, chocolates, snacks, beverages, and chips I placed my order of four coffee ice cream stuffed brownies, two slices of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices, and a pint of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Don't judge! The order was on a little metal cart outside their industrial storefront within 7 minutes of placing my order. Impressive! I absolutely love the concept behind Las Uvas. We have needed a business to provide quick delivery of alcohol and goodies. Truly they were genius to set it up near UCSB's campus. I do wish they sold entire cheesecakes or boxes of desserts; perhaps one day. They have an extensive map of delivery zones (covering Santa Barbara, Goleta, Isla Vista, Montecito, and Hope Ranch), plus they're open 7 days a week until 11 pm! Stoners delight!
