For me, all See's Candies locations always have been filled with super nice and helpful employees. This is why I was so surprised at the indifference and coldness I received. When we walked in, one employee was on the floor and offered us a sample. I declined as I did not want the particular one she offered. Usually when the sample is declined, they ask if there they can provide a different one. She did not offer an alternative. Not a big deal as I didn't go there for the free sample. It was just different from other locations. I proceeded to the counter and stated to the other employee what I was wanting to purchase. She was curt and cold, no hello, no smile. Once again, surprising as See's Candies' employees are usually so nice and welcoming. While making a selection for my SECOND box of chocolates, I asked for a specific sample. She gave it to me, but she hesitated a minute as if this was not allowed or just didn't want to give me one. I don't know if she thought that I already had a sample, and it was supposed to be only one per person, but it just seemed like she did not want to provide it. Mind you, I ended up spending about $90 there. AND when I walked in, the employees were asking another customer if he wanted to try any more. Any more? So I can't get one but this guy gets multiple? AND he gets ASKED if he wants more? This won't deter me from going to See's, but I will probably go to a different location. read more

This see's Candies is located inside the Stonewood mall right across from BWW. Its a fairly small store but come to think of it most of them are. The workers are really nice here and even when its packed during the holidays or other big celebration times they seem to take care of everyone. The best thing about coming into sees is getting that free sample. Hey what can I say, nothing better than free chocolate. I went tonight to get a bag of candy and ended up walking out frustrated by what the workers allow greedy and thoughtless customers to do, in fact they encourage and facilitate it. When I walked in there were was a couple already eating and asking for various samples of the chocolates. I waited because I thought they would wrap it up soon enough. Nope. They held up the line asking for more and more free candies and the lady working there did not have the common sense to deter them at all, there was no boundaries or order whatsoever. She could have tactfully told them that there is a limit and a line of customers waiting but no, she kept up with the banal dialogue with them, describing the ingredients of each candy like it was a wine tasting festival or something. There was another couple ahead of me in line who I could tell were getting restless too. My patience was waning for a good ten minutes while these people kept asking for even more chocolates like they won a trip to Willy Wonka Chocolate factory. How embarrassing. Who does that? The guy even commented that they couldn't decide what to get as they had eaten so many "back to back." We all have a life to live and I didn't want to wait all night for this tacky couple to finish stuffing their faces for free. When I left, they were still eating holding up the line. I wonder how long they were doing that before I arrived. Honestly, if a chimpanzee wearing a tuxedo and bowtie had walked in and squatted in the middle of the store to fart loudly that would still be less outlandish than what I witnessed this evening. I am sure they didn't buy anything or if they did it was something small, these type of people should be banned from abusing complimentary samples. This has happened at least three times in the past too, at this same location. Not the same people, but the same type of trashy entitled people. Zero shame. My night was ruined because I was really craving their candy. I wonder how many actual paying customers are inclined to spend their money elsewhere because of annoying shyt like this. read more

They have 1.60 valentines hearts and of course I had to get one. The ladies here are always so nice, and the chocolate is always delicious as ever! I visited the See's Candies shop at Stonewood Mall today, the staff was very welcoming, attentive and polite. They were courteous and patient with a couple of elderly customers who were in the store. The store was well organized, old fashioned quaintness, very clean and attractive. I bought some $35 worth of product and I'm very happy with my purchase and it was a pleasant experience. My husband was pretty excited to try them but he thought they were going to be more "root beery" instead of creamy. I thought they were decent and fun to try. First of all, I have always had great childhood memories from sees candies.. then I went in for my lunch break, mind you it was not busy at all, just one other customer looking around. We walked up to the counter and the associate name Maria G goes and tosses samples and says here you. Instead of even explaining what they were and did not even ask of I had any allergies. I explained to her I was looking for 2 specific flavors so I scrolled through my phone to show her and she said we'll I dont know. Ask I asked for any new flavors for the month she mention and I asked if I can try, sje said "oh okay in a bag to set you up to go" . Mind you I had not even placed an order or even found the 2 I was looking for. I nailed it down myself without any help and asked if I can taste to make sure they were the ones I've been craving so thay I can purchase. She just seem like she wanted me out and asked more than twice to bag it and add to my order. I feel since I didn't know if they were the one I wanted to try it first but she kept insisting to bag and buy without me even knowing. And even as I finally went up to the register because I just felt so uncomfortable being in there always with the way she kept talk to me not with me I just accepted and paid. I just do not even wanna go back to that location. She was either have a bad day or just did not like her job. I will definitely be traveling to further stores now just avoid that uncomfortablness that I have never experienced in a sees store before. read more

Went in on New Year's Day at 11am the lady working was super friendly, went in and got 1 lbs of half milk chocolate almond and half dark chocolate almonds. Left the store feeling happy. I decided to purchase my lady some Vday chocolates a few days before 2/14. As anticipated, there was a small line outside the store limiting customers inside due to COVID. The line moved quickly and there was a helpful attendant handing out custom candy menus and answering questions, which was very helpful. My house is big on the Milk Rum Nougat, Dark Normandie, and the Pecan Rolls. The young lady that assembled the custom box was friendly, patient, and efficient. All employees were wearing masks, gloves, along with plenty of hand sanitizer stations in the store. With no surprise, the chocolate was consistently delicious and enjoyed by my wife. I highly recommend the custom box, especially when you know what you like. The heart box (over a pound of chocolates) or about 21 pieces for $37 is a nice treat for that special someone. read more

Ordered online yesterday because they told me the line would be 45 mins wait. So I ordered online took maybe 2 hours to fulfill my order not a big problem. I decided to pick up today when I came to pick up I explained to the manager that my car was recently broken into and that I didn't have any form of I.d because they took my wallet. I filed a police report but the manager on the clock at the time (1:10pm) told me I need an I.D or else I can't pick up my order. She said there was nothing she can do to help me even though I had the email the order number and my phone number on hand in my phone. She was willing to turn me away even though I had all this information. She forced my father who has an underlying health condition to come to the store and show his I.D. Very unprofessional of the manager. Not attacking the company just the manager working there. Will be going to other locations. read more

Helped me in more ways than one. I asked her several questions regarding pricing, chocolate types and description of tastes, and she quickly answered all my questions. She was an outstanding professional and offered me superior customer service. I purchased almost $100 worth of chocolates that I will be taking abroad to my upcoming trip and had several half pound boxes to fill. Alina M. handed me a chocolate sheet with all the candy varieties and was so patient with me as we filled each individual box to my liking. Well all staff at this location need much more training they are unequip to handel things that are done effortless in all See's shops we have been too! I made my order as easy as 1. 2, 3 yet the idiots were like the 3 stooges? I gave the first girl my print out of how the 2 custom boxes 1 pound each should be. Well dummy #1 did not understand it then tried to tell me I could not get what I presented her? Lol I been buying the same 2 custom boxes before she was ever born. So I explain what Sasha told me on the phone and walked me through my computer list, I have #1 the list. Then dummy #2 comes and #1 runs to the back to hide. #2 & #1 then show the onlyale staff the list, they could not figure out wgat % of each candy to put in the boxes, so #2 tells #1 just put 2 of each. I daid oh no you don't, those boxes have some with 2 and some witn 3 candies...the totals for each added up to 100% for each box. I guess they thought I was the stupid obe yet I know my %'s I went to college I know math very well. They on the other hand did nit know anything. Please train them how many candies go in a one pound box and 5% means one candy, 10% means 2 candies! Then #3 asked #2 where did #1 go? O said sge hiding in the back as she was standing there looking at us, then #2 says she went on a 10 min break. Really who does that in the middle of working on customet's? I daid no she did not, now after waiting to park for 45 mind. I was in no mood for all their nonsense, I was just happy to het this done, but as the minutes went on and they could not figure out how to bx 2 one pound boxes I was so pissed off, I left them there. This was the worst See's I have ever step foot in and will never return, we still keep gling to Bellflower the best see's ever, second is Lakewood Mall followed by Cerritos Mall, Westminster Mall. Now I will to work late tomorrow fue to these clowns wasting my time so as you tell I am not very happy right now, they should let me box it myself it would been 5 mins. tops. Love the toffee-ettes!!! That's what I went in for this week. I had a craving for something sweet and salty and these always do the trick. They are a million times better than almond roca. They are a lot more expensive but the quality makes it worth it. During the holidays we usually receive a box of See's chocolate (nuts and chews). They are always a treat.
