The blonde lady was very rude towards the end of my visit during checkout. I went in wanting to purchase a Dubai chocolate labubu thing meant for my friend who was outside who had givin me her card to use since she was shy, I asked for the labubu and it was the size of an average chocolate bar and it came out to a whopping 10$ don't get me wrong it was good but not worth the price she also had persistently told me to enter the pin number and was very rude don't go here please!!! read more

Went in on a Friday evening and we were helped by an older lady. There was a man and a lady when we came in. The man was very kind . My friend and I were looking at the different candies they had. We were waiting for our order and she rudely asked if we needed a bag for the candy because they don't have samples. All we were doing was looking at the different candies they have. I have been coming to this place for about a year now, I love everything they have. The owners are always nice and welcoming. I always get their delicious chocolate covered apples but today I decided to try the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry's and it was delicious!! Freshly made right in front of you! Candy is good but the lady that works there with the blonde hair is very very rude! I went there with my 3 kids today and my 9 year old daughter was admiring the large teddy bear at the window, didn't even touch it, just looking and the lady yelled at her to get away from there in the nastiest tone, to get away from that area! She embarrassed my daughter right out of the store! I felt like emptying the candy I already bagged up onto the floor, but my youngest was too happy for the candies he picked out, so I just paid for everything and left. Never coming back there again. And I go there every trip to the mall with my kids, but not anymore. That b*tch has no professionalism what so ever. read more

I came here knowing full well loads of people left bad reviews due to bad service. Let's face it- I just wanted good candy today. Anyway, I can assure you the service was FANTASTIC. The lady everyone has been leaving bad reviews about was not there, at least not today. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and helpful. There is a huge assortment of candies here, and the prices are very fair. We realised that it costs us less coming here to get our favourite sweets than going to the usual shops, which don't even carry most of the things we want. This place does! This place is the worst. We will never go there again. My grandson wanted candy before the circus so we went into the mall and found this place. Their candy is so high priced and they offer no gloves to use their scoops, so Covid anyone. When we got to the cash register this ever so rude woman said, "you have to pay extra to use credit card." Really, I don't see a sign, nothing tells me that, my grandson has already picked out what he wanted. Turns out she wanted me to spend even more to use my card. Will never shop here again! The fake blonde at the counter with the heavy accent is extremely rude and accused my kid of stealing after he grabbed a bag of candy and placed it on the counter . Mind you his hands were empty and when she asked for the bag it was not even close to him. I see we weren't the only ones that had a bad experience! Not a very customer friendly place. When I went in I wanted chocolate strawberries the guys said half a pound was $5 something and I was like oh okay because it sounded like a good deal. I love love love their caramel apples! Its my go to whenever i come here Ive gotten my sister and bf into this place and they love it too. Its so convenient being in the mall, after a little shopping i can just grab an apple for a treat Place is pretty clean and everything is always available they got different options to choose from which is awesome but tough too because everything looks good. Went in today to get a snack and never coming back to this place. Lady with the blonde hair is rude af. She needs to get a better job if she's unhappy there. She rang me up with a really bad attitude. I proceeded to ask for my change which was just a penny and the only reason why I asked for it was because of her nasty attitude. She then laughed at me and reached over to her tip jar and looked for a penny lol. Yeah girl get that change from your tip jar lmao. Ugly face and attitude. I always come to this candyland with my kids. I happen to record the apples inside the store (to post and support the business) on social media. However, the white skinny lady that was there was extremely mean to me in-front of my kids and rudely asked me to never do that again. I would have appreciated her politely asking and wouldn't have had a problem with it. Their store their rules, but making a huge deal about it wasn't ok. Used to come here every weekend, NEVER AGAIN. I went to this store on Jan.14 with my daughter and granddaughter around 1 p.m. to buy a candy apple inside Stonewood Center in Downey next to the As Seen On T.V. store. This employee was incredibly rude to us when she stated a pair of sequin kid slippers were "ruined" after she grabbed them from my daughter's hand when we stated we were not going to buy them because they were too big for my granddaughter. My daughter replied by saying, "I'm sorry, do you not want us to touch anything in your store?" Although we did pay for the candy apple, we will never shop here again. Her customer service skills need to improve tremendously. No wonder the store is usually empty when we walk by. The lady that works the counter here is absolutely the RUDEST woman I have ever met. Mind you, the prices advertised on the signs are NOT what they charge. All of the signs say $3.95 per 1/4 pound. So imagine my surprised face when she told me that the total for 2 modestly filled bags was $61! She started yelling "its $15 per 1/4 lb, do the math! Do the math!" I told her that at the end of the day, I'll pay it because we had touched it, and due to our current state of affairs (and I had no doubt she would probably just put all the candy back), I didn't want anyone at risk.
