Happy to find this great new coffee cafe in Summerville with one of the most beautiful outdoor spaces! With the weather getting cooler we want to be able to relax and enjoy the outdoors. That doesn't mean just having a table outside. Seene house had great food, service and that amazing place outdoors so it's easy to recommend.

Inside - they have also doors that roll open.

This place is so beautiful and inspiring to sit and enjoy. I have worked from this venue and also met clients here. I have also just met a girlfriend to catch up. The food is always excellent. The drinks are always spot on. Plus they make their syrups a in house , and they buy their pastries locally. I cannot rave enough about this place.

The most elegantly appointed and roomy bathroom I've ever been in!

An oasis in the desert, lush, relaxing, and restorative. You may have to look hard to find Seene, but like any treasure, it's worth the hunt. Coffee and speciality drinks, light fare, and pastries? Yup! Like several other attentive coffee spots. But once inside, you are enveloped in a simple elegant vibe that says relax, enjoy, chat awhile. To me, this is the outstanding and unique charm of Seene House. Go once, and you will be drawn back. I could have taken pictures of the good drinks we ordered. But instead I snapped the interior, so you get a sense of how the owners have paid attention to every detail. There are two separate indoor areas, and an outdoor courtyard with tables, games, and a children's picnic table, all lush with an assortment of plants. Their attentiveness carries through to their rest room at Seene! I've never been motivated to show one before, but theirs is so roomy and well appointed that it deserved a shot too. Now ask yourself - if the owners take this much care over their bathroom, imagine the loving scrutiny and design flair they put into their whole operation! I'll see you at Seene House soon!

Beautiful outdoor seating with plants and plenty to look at. The servers are chill and patient, and the food is fresh. A little pricey but I think the vibes are nice. The drinks were my favorite part.

Really nice and modern coffee shop with tons of seating areas, including two separate indoor areas and multiple places to sit outside on the patio. Staff were very friendly. Espresso with brown sugar syrup was delicious! They make the syrups in house. Parking is a little difficult as they don't have a formal parking lot. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

Amazing new coffee café only open for 3 months. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, modern flair, lots of open space and windows with the ability to open up into the outside where several beautiful seating areas outside with lots of plants. Warm and inviting service. They were very friendly and professional and also engaging. There are a few very interesting items on the menu, sandwiches, drinks, etc. The lattes were amazing! I will definitely come back. I can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can sit outside and enjoy a great drink and some food.

We were recommended to come check out this new coffee shop in town that's recently opened. My initial impression arriving is that the entrance is a bit confusing. The door in the front said to use the back entrance so we followed the path around and walked into what was their overflow seating and that was not where you actually order. You have to walk across the gravel path through their outdoor patio and it is in an old barn. I will say the sprawled out patio spaces were very chic and nice (if it wasn't 95 degrees outside I would've loved to enjoy that space ) Parking also is very tight space to get through and around. Once we got to the right spot, we ordered our coffees and I got a sandwich with sourdough. I was curious to see if it was homemade. It had fig jam, Brie cheese and turkey with a pinch of mixed greens over what looked like homemade sourdough. The side of sweet potato chips were a plus! The bread was absolutely fantastic! My only feedback on this was it needed at LEAST one more slice of turkey. The fact that I got one thin piece of turkey was a bit disappointing so I do hope they consider adding more to this sandwich because it really needed it to offset the sweetness from the jam, or even a piece of bacon for the salty fatty element to really round out the sandwich. I still enjoyed it because it tasted fresh and had good flavors. I parked over at the couch and finished up on some work until they closed. O'rien (I'm sorry if I botched your name) was so friendly and gave me the back story of how Seene coffee shop came about and assisted me with getting set up with the wifi. Nice staff, good ambiance, good coffee. :)

A thank you to Lisa & Daniel , the ambience & aesthetic are amazing. We reserved it this past weekend for my daughter's baby shower and couldn't have asked for better service ! Their employees were kind and efficient!!! Not to forget to mention the absolutely delicious coffee!! French vanilla latte is definitely my favorite ! A wonder experience, I would recommend for a coffee chat or event 100 %

The baked goods are provided by a local baker; my raspberry lemon poppyseed muffin was terrific. So two marks for the quality of the coffee and baked goods, and friendly service. Summit Coffee scores a three out of three for their interior space. (They do have outdoor seating; I'll be back in cooler weather for that.) With tall ceilings and wide windows, SC is bright and airy, and their decor is understated elegant: nice touches here and there that reinforces the care gone into creating a relaxing space.

What follows is the marching orders to all other places doing the same thing. Give me a McDonalds with from the 80s with an exterior that dared to be unique, not part of the 1984 (read the book) agenda. This brings me to Summit coffee; I absolutely hate the exterior. Devoid of life, soul and any unique presence. However, I'm not really here to write about a drab exterior but coffee! Let's go inside, shall we? Summit coffee establishment is located is on the outskirts of Nexton proper, easily accessible by foot and with a sterile atmosphere. One oddity I noticed is the place doesn't smell of coffee, which I found interesting. Sadly the inside is as lifeless as outside. It looks like a they paid a cleaner to remove all vestiges of life while only leaving a spec here or there to meet a quote. Ok, enough with aesthetics as I've complained enough, The staff is quick to help out and offer good suggestions when they're asked. Being a former comedian, I tried to whip up some jokes to compensate for my utter boredom, the ladies were nice enough to laugh. Needless to say, the women here had a heart. They made good suggestions but I was curious why their pastry display only had like a handful of items, did they make them or get them from the grocery store? I don't know but I was only here for coffee. I did like some of the creativity - a banana creampie latte - sounds like something.... Nevermind but all props for creativity. Birthday cake latte didn't sound good for the waistline but another attempt at creativity - I love it! But I opted to go for my own flavor. A lack of options for addins, I mean literally no hazelnut, almond etc. Well, I did the best I could - Latte with 2 shots caramel and 1 vanilla. I can honestly say it was "mid" at best. The roast didn't resonate while the lack of options made it feel so generic like I couldn't play the part of an evil scientist mixing a crazy concoction. But it beats McDonalds. Oh, they do have "the world's best granola" which I made several jokes about, even encouraging other customers by saying "if you were in France and ordered granola, they would talk about Summit's granola, after all it's the world's best!" Yes, I was being the overfriendly annoying customer, b/c I was bored. At least there were some laughs. Sadly, there's nothing about Summit that stands out. I hate saying that for local businesses but I want to be authentic. Stop by if .... Well, I'm not sure why so just stop by, I guess.

Cold brew- It reminded me of this specific sesame grain drink with barely any coffee taste. Could not finish. Carrot cake- It was moist and the frosting was good. No part of it tasted like earl grey imo. I would skip on the sweet coconut cold foam as it barely provides sweetness to your drink, which in turn, is not worth the additional cost. However, what tires my bones to the core is the inauthenticity of people that have taken over coffee culture; with their man-buns, little lap tops writing "the next great American novel," forearmed tattooed and blue haired activist that... Oh sorry, I got off topic a bit, shades of living in Austin TX. That said, I see the environment at Biggby set up to cater to those people, yet the new gen hippy takeover hasn't started. No, what I see from this dainty coffee bar are inviting pastel-colored walls, light toned wood chairs and tables, crayon inspired specials written on the windows and where ever along with their merch being pushed dead in front. It's an ok vibe in here and the people are simple, thus my whole rant about generation 3.14 isn't applicable here. As for the staff they're great and receptive of what you want to drink as well as giving suggestions. I got there when a lot of younger staff were working so I tried to spark up a conversation. Specifically, if she's tried Kopi Luwak (google it) and if she liked it. She had no idea what I was talking about so I switched to Taylor Swift, to which the conversation picked up. Concern for this generation resonated in my head, but hey at least we were talking, and she didn't ask to chat via snap chat! I kid... I kid. The staff here are very nice and they were playing 80s music (see how I dated myself?) which "I can name that song in three notes" and did. While I'm a medium roast coffee kind of guy and I like my coffee like the women I date; hot, sweet and blonde. I vary my selection by what I'm in the mood for, sometimes latte, sometimes hot or iced, sometimes mocha, you get the drift; and yes I'm talking about coffee (get your mind out of the gutter). But what I do appreciate is creativity in a beverage and a joint with the courage to put a creation on their menu. When I read the Butter bear latte stood out and I knew that was what I wanted. The butterscotch punched me in the mouth as a "you've never met someone like me before" love tap. The caramel snuck up from behind and smoothed out the experience while the coffee kept the band playing nice together. Scanning their menu, Biggby does commit to giving something different a real go and I applaud them for it. In summary, Biggby grinds their beans to order and this really enhances the quality of their coffee. Add to that they create an environment where one can feel safe while sitting inside or just stopping by with enthusiastic employees and it's a recipe for success. While I didn't sample their "edibles" (how's my parking?) they looked wonderful. To finish, the employees are great people, the ambiance is fun and the coffee is great. Stop by if you want something good to pick yourself up or rub elbows with a future leader of America.
