I moved to the area about six months ago and was looking for an experienced hair stylist. Michael Isaacs is hands down the best I've found... in years! I schedule my haircuts during the full moon (it's my little tradition), and I always leave his chair very satisfied. Michael trims away all the dry ends and my hair has noticeably improved since I started seeing him. My hair trims/cuts look super nice and stylish, he is able to always preserve the long length. Beyond his incredible skills, and very reasonable prices; Michael is such a pleasant person. He's professional, and he always has a kind and sweet compliment ready for his clients. I highly recommend Michael for anyone looking for a stellar haircut! You won't be disappointed! ‍ read more

Natalie is always so amazing. She's prompt, thorough, and courteous. My hair has never looked better, and she always takes time to really figure out what I want. I have recommended numerous people to her, and they always leave happy. She's simply the best. I won't go anywhere else. The salon is so cute! I love how clean and decorated it is. I feel like I'm someplace fancy but right at home at the same time. And they always offer me a treat or beverage. I have only had Natalie do my hair, but the other stylists look to be amazing as well. Their customers look happy and you can tell they are being taken care of. I just can't say enough good things about this salon. read more

First thing of all it's beautiful here which feels relaxing and calming. I am here from out of town but was able to get an appt the same day with Jennifer Robinson for a regrowth touch-up. She used this wonderful Italian color which took in 15 minutes and matched perfectly. Lovely head massage to boot. My new home away home hair place/person! There are many stylists for people of all ages doing great hair things here. read more

I've been a client at Seela David salon for 3 years and I love it. I followed Gillian D. over from another salon whom I've had as a hair stylist for over 15 years and I am always impressed with her colors and cuts. When you leave you look nice and feel good. I love it. read more

It's great to walk out of a salon feeling confident! I got a fabulous slight a-line haircut by Natalie today! It turned out better than I imagined, definitely the best haircut I've had in years. They got me in the next day when I called. Very comfortable salon and everyone working was friendly and welcoming. This is my second time at this salon and I have been very pleased both times. The first time was a few years ago - I got an all over dye job and haircut. Since both times were such positive experiences I have decided this is my new go to salon! read more

I had an appointment with Lisa at 6pm yesterday. I got there 10 minutes early. 10 minutes after my set appointment I was still waiting. Two other stylists had asked me if I been helped and I said I had an appointment with Lisa. They both said she was still with someone. Lisa never came to the lobby to let me know she was running late. I do not mind waiting but I feel it's not respectful of my time to not acknowledge me and let me know how long you'll be. After more waiting, I stood up near the stylists to show I'm waiting and wanted to ask if I should just reschedule. Both looked at me and didn't say anything and continued their conversations. After waiting another 5 minutes I just walked out. I hate writing a bad review but I feel service and respect is just as important as getting a good cut. read more

Had a great experience at the salon, I called for a last minute walk in and they booked me immediately. I was happy in the salon, but I guess I didn't take a good look at my hair... I came home to friends and family asking WHAT HAPPENED to my hair. From the front, it looks fine. The back is a whole different story (which I once again, did not see until I got home). I will not be going here again, as I was charged $40 for a horrific haircut that I now have to go get fixed- AND cut another inch off of my hair just to even it out. Friendly enough staff but I'm EMBARASSED to even leave the house with this haircut. read more

This salon is soooo cute and relaxing. I was immediately seated and offered an array of beverages. I had a rough idea of what I wanted and Sheridan was like my fairy godmother lol I went in a day before I planned to fly out for vacation, and I was pleased to get my hair so light without the copper/red tones on our first try!! (If you're Mexican you know EXACTLY what I mean). If you're planning to balayage your hair or need a fresh trim, I would book with Sheridan!! She works MAGIC #freshtodeath read more

The stylist was very nice she took me in at the last minute which I am very thankful for. However, I spent $200 for a hair color which did not last even one week!!!! the color faded and my hair looks terrible! After she was done coloring I asked her to do an up-do with a little puff since I was going out she informed me it would be an extra $50 ontop which I said fine to and then she did not know how to do an up-do hair style??!!! (disappointing). After she was done with my hair and I went to go pay I had 250 in cash. 2 - 100 dollar bills and one 50 dollar bill. Guess what she took all my money since she did not have "change" !! I did not want to tip someone 50 bucks when they can't even do what I wanted! this was a very disappointing visit. Don't go with cash unless you know they have change! or know the style you want and can get it... read more

Come to this Salon if you want your beautiful hair ruined and turned orange. No amount of excuses are good enough. Pictures don't lie. No amount of toning is gonna fix this. Pictures shown are what I wanted, what I had before walking into this salon and the orange/blond mess they turned my hair into. I did contact the salon 6 days after but no such policy is listed on their website. I only asked for a refund after driving 40 minutes to the salon to have it "fixed" only to be treated terribly by the stylist read more

For years, I have been a loyal customer at SeelaDavid Salon. I have had mostly positive experiences, however, one recent experience left me feeling very uncomfortable, and for that reason, I will not be returning. On April 13, 2019, I had an appointment with Risa to get my hair done for my senior prom. I showed up to this appointment on time, checked in, and waited for my appointment to start. From what I recall, Risa was working on another client at the time of my appointment and was not available to see me. Janine, who no longer works at SeelaDavid, explained that she would be doing my hair instead, since Risa was with another client. Janine did a lovely job on my hair, and I was very grateful she was able to take me in, since I would otherwise have been late for the prom festivities. On Saturday, over two and a half years later, I had a 7pm appointment for a haircut with Risa. It was the first appointment I had booked with her since 2019. At the appointment, she confronted me about the "no show" that appeared in the system on April 13, 2019. Risa was infuriated and threatened to charge me $85 for my haircut appointment, since she had assumed I did not show up for my appointment that was scheduled almost three years ago. She also refused to provide the service. I explained what I could recall from that appointment multiple times, but she refused to listen. I left feeling extremely uncomfortable and confused. It was by far the worst customer service experience I had ever had. I wish that Risa would have listened to my point of view, rather than assuming she knew everything about the situation. Regardless of what the situation had been, this was no way to treat a client. read more

I came here for a haircut before graduation. It was a big mistake. Sarabeth had to cancel my appointment because she was running behind. It would've been great to know before getting there. I rescheduled, but I regret doing that. My appointment was at 7:30pm and she didn't acknowledge me until 10 minutes after I arrived. She also didn't get to me until 25 minutes later. I wanted to walk out, but I was being extremely patient with her. I didn't realize how bad my hair was until I got home. I immediately made an appointment at Chico Color Bar so they can fix the mess. I have trusted Debbie Christensen with my tresses for nearly a year. Leaving 5-star Review and would leave ten if I could! Debbie understands my hair texture, weight, growth patterns and color. Together we have come up with a hair style that suits me perfectly! First appointment I had her cut about 7 inches to remove the damaged hair, due to over processing. Now, with healthy hair she has done summer blond to deeper low lights for more dimension in the fall. She's transformed my cut into an Amazing hairstyle that looks great straightened, wavy, or natural dry. Debbie is definitely a talented stylist! I that she can book appointments via text. She follows up w reminder text. Easy to pay w app. Debbie took on my daughters waist long brown hair. She again, started with a lightened job that was uneven and over processed, transformed her hair is healthy w Balayage is the correct shade to blend w her natural brown base. Debbie Christensen thank you for the awesome hair! I get compliments all the time (You can find her on IG to see her work) read more

Outstanding salon!!! So pretty and beautifully kept. The natural light from the floor to ceiling windows really lets you get the proper perspective on your color. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have found Amanda Warren Banks and her beautiful salon. My hair has truly never looked better and she's a master at hiding my stubborn gray hairs that insist on popping up (so rude!). Amanda has also been styling my teenage daughters hair for several years, patiently working with her through illness and hair challenges. Always giving her time to chat and feel special. My favorite SeelaDavid experience was prom afternoon watching almost a dozen girls getting their done for prom. They were all so excited and treated with such love and care. They all walked out looking and feeling like princesses. How many salons can leave you with that kind of feeling? read more

After needing to find a new stylist, I did some research and found this salon. I went through and read about all the stylists and thier reviews (good and bad) and decided to make an appointment with Risa. There was something about her that drew me to her. I decided I was going to let her do her thing, and I listened to what she recommended. I am so happy with my hair! I love that she is not about damaging my hair even if I can be one of those annoying customers who wants to be super blonde with the stroke of a non existant magical wand, yet she pulled it off pretty well. I will definitely be going back! read more

Gillian had a HUGE job cut out for her with my hair. I had neglected my hair for months as I recently lost my mom and haven't been taking care of myself. Gillian took the time to do the job right. She gave me a wonderful highlight, cut, and style. The salon is cute and everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend!!! read more

I was with Risa for a haircut. She's super friendly and efficient at her work. She doesn't pressure you nor make you feel uncomfortable. This was my first time at SeelaDavid Salon, and this experience made me felt like I was already a regular customer to them. Paid $1,000 for extensions. They looked really bad and not blended. After I complained, she told me they look fine and I'm supposed to curl my hair and not wear it straight. Then was blaming my hair being too thick for the reason it looked bad and did not try to make things right. Refused to give refund. Sadly would not recommend this place for extensions. Super unprofessional. Once my extensions were out my hair was left looking uneven. read more

You know what the best feeling is? Coming out of the salon with a brand new haircut. Sadly, I did not experience that. I had a consultation ensuring Risa will understand what I wanted. It felt rushed. Don't let her overconfidence fool you. She didn't take the time to check on me especially it being my first time at a salon. She did what she wanted, and not what I wanted. When I would provide details or show examples, she brushed it off and acted like she knew what I meant. She did not! After not having enough of the color I requested, I came in again. Yes again. Something I regret. She cut my hair more into choppy layers and when she showed me my hair. I felt tears and rage inside. She's a nice person but I think she needs a humble check. She needs to think of the client needs. I hope no one experience this heartache. Too many of us, hair is everything. If you're going see her know EXACTLY what you want. Don't come with the notion that the stylist will listen or offer suggestions. Lesson learned and my hair will grow back. I write not to bash the Seela david salon or Risa. There are wonderful people who work there but to beware for yourself if you are seeking a new stylist. Do your research and speak up about yourself. read more

Best experience at a salon ever!!! Sheridan is a hair magician. I came in wanting color and cut after shaving my head a little over a year ago. I had virgin dark brown hair and decided to get my hair dyed for the first time here with a balayage. I have no idea what goes into dyeing hair and I thought having virgin hair was a great start to dyeing. I had Risa, who is hilarious and very knowledgeable. She did not initially give me a balayage and went straight with the dye. The dye did not stick at all and she said it was because I used cheap shampoo, not because my hair is too dark. I felt very uncomfortable because she continued to bring this up throughout the rest of the appointment and I felt guilty because I'm a college student and don't spend $40+ on shampoo and conditioner each go around. I only get my hair professionally done once a year, maybe, because I can't afford spending $150 for coloring and cutting each time. My hair looked pretty good in the end, don't get me wrong because the job was pretty well done. A little too short for my taste. But I was feeling so heartbroken and ashamed throughout the rest of the appointment because I don't buy expensive shampoo. I was looking forward to this appointment and in the end I just felt so bad about myself and cried afterwards, which I feel shouldn't happen at a salon where the hairdressers want to make you feel beautiful. I would recommend this salon if you want good results but if you want to feel good on the inside, maybe go somewhere else. read more
