Please go somewhere else. My eyes are still recovering a year later after having them make new distance and reading glasses for me. Frames were uncomfortable and gave me headaches then they couldn't get the optical centers dialed in. They talked me into getting progressive lenses, didn't care for them, asked to change back to single vision then one of the salesmen told me "it should take a month to get used to the progressives." Could've told me before hand. So I had to wear my reading glasses for a couple months while they repeatedly tried to get my lenses right. I could go on but that's the short version. They have a great selection of glasses, and the woman that helped me make my selection was very helpful. The issue is that when I went to pick up my glasses they didn't ensure the glasses fit properly! A gentleman just handed me the glasses (without checking my ID) and walked away. I put them on and he asked me from halfway across the store if adjustments needed to be made. At the time, I didn't think so. But I'm not a ophthalmic technician. I had a backup pair I picked up a few weeks later from my eye doctor's office. And I put them on and also didn't think they needed adjustment. BUT the technician did! She made minor adjustments by heating up the glasses and bending them so they fit perfectly!!! What a difference!!! I wish I had the glasses I purchased from SEE with me!! I would have asked her to make the adjustments to this pair as well. So here I am with a pair of glasses I paid well over $500 watching videos online on how to make these adjustments myself with a hair blow dryer! And if you're wondering why I just don't bring them back to SEE for them to make the adjustments? I moved to state that doesn't have a retail location. All in all, great selection of glasses. Unfortunately, backend customer service is lacking. Yes, I want my glasses to look good, but they are not purely a fashion statement. I need them to see properly! And glasses that fit would be nice. Shopping for glasses at See Eyewear was fun, and I will gladly return. I never liked shopping for glasses because they were either expensive or usually come in boring black or brown frames. I wear contacts regularly, and I've had my pair of glasses I wear at home that are from two prescriptions ago. Therefore, it was time to get some new ones since I had a prescription written up already. There were so many frames to choose that will either make you look either hip, smart, or hip and smart. There are also so many fun colors and designs. The prescription glasses prices range from $169 to $350, which includes both lens and frames. They also sell non-prescription sunglasses starting at $99 and reading glasses for under $100. I chose cute $169 glasses with pink frames, since that's my favorite color. Since I do have a higher prescription, I chose the option to have thinner lenses for an additional $70. Larissa was very helpful and friendly. She was excited I had a Groupon worth $200. So I only spent $89 ($50 for the Groupon plus the $39 difference). I might even might be even tempted to buy another pair when I return to pick up my glasses in a week. read more

Parking: $1 an hour in the mall structure I swear I tried on at least 30 pairs of glasses, and Monica was so patient and helpful with my hunt for the perfect pair. They have lots of hipster unique designs and also classic looks as well. I've never owned glasses that I've loved, so for years I've worn contacts 12+ hours a day, leaving my poor peepers dry and bloodshot. I came across the Groupon deal $50 for $200 off that I couldn't refuse, and so drove straight to the store. All the associates helped give me advice and recommendations on how they look on me, which helped immensely. I ended up liking 2 glasses but settling on one cause even after the Groupon it's still rather pricey. Most prescription glasses are priced from around $169 to $299 and up (price includes lens). The one I decided on was $299 and after getting anti-glare coating and high-index lenses, I still paid about $270 AFTER the Groupon. It was expensive, but I LOVE them. It takes about 2 weeks or less to arrive, so I am still eagering waiting... Their frames are all limited edition and made by the company so after they sell out, there's no more. I've been a long term customer of See Eyewear since they started in the mid/late 90s. I bought my first pair in the Ann Arbor store. Then a few pairs in Boston. Now here in LA! I wear glasses all the time and demand something stylish and that looks good on my wide square face. I usually have a really difficult time finding cool well priced frames, but at See, I can usually find one or two pairs each season that work for me. See has a great selection of their own frame styles - no stupid logos on the lenses or on the side of the frame. Prices range from $150 to $350 including basic polycarbonate lenses. I've gotten replacement lenses for one of my favorite frames from See and just bought a new pair this month that I absolutely love - matte plastic large modified cateye frames. Service is great and they know how to pick a frame that suits your face shape, eyes, and skin tone. I found my current pair in December, ask them to save it to my account and bought it with a coupon in January. read more

I want to start off the review by saying the the store manager Tony Ramirez was so incredibly helpful. He was super patience and really insightful with his suggestions. They are a lot of options so one does need some assistance narrowing the chooses down. I was there for some time and never did I feel rushed. Also all the sale people were not pushy sales people which I really enjoy in shopping experience. The layout is great, everything is displayed really well and it's so neat and organized. Considering how many options there are everything was really easy to find. Once I narrowed the selection the process was super easy and quick. I've purchased over 30 pairs of glasses at this location and the reason I keep coming back is Carlos, the Store Manager. He's just wonderful. So kind and caring.he also has excellent taste and never fails to help me choose the perfect frame for me. Many times when I wear one of my frames I get compliments and people want to know where I buy my glasses. See Optical trains their staff to measure for blended (bifocal) frames and Carlos is an expert at fitting my frames perfectly. My prescription is a bit complicated but he gets the measurements perfectly each time. As long as Carlos is at the helm I will be buying new, trendy frames at See Optical. read more

I drove over 45 miles to visit this location because I was BEYOND excited for some new spectacles. I was referred by one of my best friends to visit this shop and order a "great' package of frames and glasses and BOY was I screwed. They have this company slogan that says "Hip without the rip" and right off the bat SEE is lying to you. What I really want to do is just be as crappy as them and write a review with a bunch of cuss words to get out my frustrations but sadly this will not satisfy anyone but me and also won't get the point across about how much SEE sucks and in the end I will just be no better than SEE Eyewear. I do understand how these fellow yelpers and raving reviews can be blinding by some lucky marketing and well presented store front but if they ever get screwed over like me and have to deal with their corporate office or any District Managers I am sure their reviews would have a different tone to them like mine does. On May 28th I purchased a pair of glasses and paid for my frames, rx lenses and splurged on the anti-glare protective coating. Even with my groupon deal which at one point they tried to use that against me saying that they had given me $200 already I should just be happy with that. Initially, when walking into the store I was very excited and received great service from beginning to end. Anna my sales rep went over in detail my price break down and what I was paying for. I brought along 2 of my friends who were also interested in checking out and purchasing from SEE in the future just to see what it was all about. I requested to have the anti-glare reflective coating on my lenses. Even though my personal optometrist charges $90 for the prescription and anti-glare lenses total I chose to purchase and give my money to SEE. Fast forward to 5/31, I receive a very unprofessional voicemail from District Manager Linzi telling me that she will need to charge my card more money. In disagreement and confusion I returned her phone call where she repeatedly interrupted me and talked over my questions and dialogue to her. I told her that Anna had went over in detail my charges however she sent me off with a receipt only with my grand total and no price break down. I requested an appropriate receipt and she had said that would difficult to get to me. I insisted on a price breakdown so I could better understand and she had a friend from a Hotel in Beverly Hills (based off of the signature in the email) send me an email which I feel is unprofessional since her staff in San Francisco said that Linzi did indeed have an email address. I received an email with a receipt (not from Linzi) I never actually did hear back from Linzi at all. The receipt and price breakdown still did not make any sense and so I called her in LA and they said she was gone. I phoned the SF store and they took my message and said that they would even email her my information and I still never heard back from Linzi. The staff made a HUGE mistake that required a charge of an extra $42 and I did agree with this based on the overview of my transaction in the store and then the treatment from Linzi. I also didn't understand why would be willing to lose a customer over $42 when I had already spent over $150 out of my pocket in addition to the $200 credit and paid for shipping. I was getting very discouraged and could not connect with anyone over at corporate for almost a month. There is only one customer service rep named Cheryl Maxwell that handles all corporate customer service for the entire company and I never actually heard from her other than email correspondence. My concerns were never heard by any other corporate staff and I was never even apologized too regarding the unprofessional treatment I received from Linzi. This honestly had to have been one of the worst retail experiences if not THE worst that I have ever experienced so far in my life. They finally did give me my glasses and I filled my prescription and anti-glare with someone else for half of the price but in reality they charged me more for my frames and said they were doing me a favor because they normally wouldn't sell just the frames to me with my groupon. If I would have known then what I know now after that horrible experience. I would have passed on the whole thing. I informed her that I'm waiting for my friend and was just perusing through their sunglasses because I was shocked at the sale price of only $99 for good quality. This nice associate, Haley, smiled and told me that's their everyday price for sunglasses. Shut the front door! Here I am thinking I'm about to get a good deal, and this is their everyday regular price. Well, well, well, I had to take Haley up on her offer for assistance because I knew I was about to find a new pair of sunglasses. After a few minutes of searching, talking, and holding back excitement, I found my new pair of tortoise shell sunglasses. They're big, bold, and attractive in more ways than one, in my opinion! After checking in with my friend about his transaction, he was pleased with his purchase, as was I, and he was pleased with my purchase, as was I. Undoubtedly, we both walked away being satisfied customers. I had no intentions on buying sunglasses that day, but after seeing that price and that quality...simply irresistible. I started buying my glasses exclusively from SEE about 8 years ago in Boston. At that time the only stores were in Boston, NYC, and Beverly Hills (I've been told there are now 26 stores nationwide). As usual, excellent selection, great service, and fast processing. No, they do not have a lab on premises so there are no "glasses in an hour". But really, ask yourself, do you want your glasses made in an hour? I guess if your eye-wear is busted and you're nearly blind. Otherwise, find some black electric tape and sport a Harry Potter. The reason I go here instead of anyplace else is because they offer value, unique selection, and high quality product. You will not find Versace, Gucci, Ralph Lauren et al. in this shop. Instead, you'll find unique frames made just for SEE with multiple options per frame style. In addition, I've been told that they use the high quality plastic that endures unlike some companies out there that use lesser ingredients. The price you'll find is below anything you can find for stylish frames. Be aware that if you get anti-glare coating, that's an extra $95. If you live where it is sunny, have pictures taken of you with glasses on, or look at a computer screen, this is pretty much a must. Overall, I had a great experience and purchased two frames during their special Fall Deal where you buy one pair and get $200 off the second (which in most cases means a free pair of glasses). read more

SEE ended my 7 month long hunt for the perfect glasses and I didn't even didn't break the bank. I am one of those people who sit on her glasses, puts her glasses on the roof of the car and drives away, steps on her glasses, and used them as weapons. Therefore, I have to get a new pair every year, at least. You can see why it is hard for me to justify spending $300-600 on a pair of frames that will barely last me through the season. I had been stopping into every eyewear place for about half a year trying to find a pair of frames I liked that was affordable, but to no avail. Then along came SEE. Ahhh, what a breath of fresh air. The best part is that the sticker price is the price of the frames AND the lens. They "look" like designer frames but are made by SEE so that they can offer the whole package for a cheaper more competitive price. I really don't care about having a name on my face, just as long as I can see. And SEE I now can! The Cons: -You have to bring in your prescription because they don't have a lab on premises. I just went to a Lens Crafters for 50 bucks, got my exam and brought it in. Hella' easy. The Perks: -They take the KCRW fringe benefits card and give you 10% off. -Actually some pretty cool glasses on the clearance wall - worth a gander. -They have a pretty good selection of sunglasses and inexpensive non-prescription glasses. After buying... -Lots of compliments on my frames! I'm so cool.... -There was a smudge I couldn't quite get off the lens... I brought in my pair about a month later. After realizing there was a SEE at the Beverly Center, I decided to try my luck here. I already knew their prescription glasses were great as I have purchased two pairs before, so I was confident I'd find a pair of sunnies here. Once I entered, I was greeted and immediately attended to. I explained what I was looking for and the employee picked out several pairs for me to try on; we threw in some pairs to try on for fun as well. I found my pair in a matter of minutes and probably wouldn't have picked them out if it wasn't for his suggestion. I brought in my pair of prescription glasses because I needed them tweaked a bit and the guy ended up making the frames fit much, much better on my face. You can't beat the customer service here (or at any SEE Eyewear location) and prices are reasonable. This is my go to place for not only prescription glasses, but for sunglasses as well! read more

If you are lucky enough to need glasses but are not actually blind, SEE Eyewear is a STEAL, since the price of the lenses comes included with the frame price, and the most expensive ones are usually ~$300-$400. Plus they also have cute ones on the 50% off shelf in the back of the store. If you are anything like me (almost blind and with a loveable but flat Asian nose) you'll need some add-ons but the glasses are super cute, good quality, and I think well worth it. It was $100 for the super thin lenses and then $50 to have nose pads drilled in which was super clutch because more often than not, I'll find cute glasses but then when I try them on, they just slide right off my face. The nosepads were done well and look natural on the frames I picked out. Anyways, I am loving my glasses from SEE which I've had for a good 6-7 months now. I wear glasses most days of the week so I am ECSTATIC that I found SEE! No more cheap Costco glasses for me! :-) read more

There is a rare experience these days: superlative customer service with a smile. They deliver this experience at See in he Beverly Center. The store manager, Justin, greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I told him what I wanted, and he said - let me pick some frames I think you will like then you can sit down and try them on. I looked around as he created a collection of frames. I will admit I am normally super picky about my frames. Usually I try on everything in the store, find one that I am semi-satisfied with, and settle on it because it's the best they have. However, See has an amazingly fresh selection of frames (they make their own line) that are simply stunning. They range from conservative to very bold statements, with many in between. I could have easily walked out of there with five pairs of glasses that I absolutely loved. I ended up buying two pairs instead of one I loved them both so much. Justin delivered exceptional service, explained all the pros and cons of various choices, and gave an honest opinion of the pairs I tried on. I cannot recommend more highly this candy store of eye glasses! I would give it 10 stars if I could. The prices are reasonable and you will be the coolest four-eyes in town. After years of mediocrity (and boring selections) at Lenscrafters, I am no longer going to settle for that chain's high prices and poor delivery of services. read more
