Worst public storage in OC makes Brea as a city look terrible been dealing with this company since before COVID-19 early 2020 security public storage not only added multiple unnecessary late fees to my monthly bill consistently that wasn't nearly passed due but also blocked me from online access so I couldn't pay directly online I had to make a trip in person and had to pay by cashiers check or money order strange yes as well as I couldn't enter the gate my access code didn't work I had to ask for entry every time multiple times I had to come with police to enter and prove I paid to enter by Brea police all during a pandemic Security Public Storage told me I had until today the 19th to pay or else my things will be auctioned not a first this happens every month but this time even though I paid my belongings I had stored were sold when I spoke with security public storage not only did they claim I haven't been in contact even though I've spoke with several on duty staff who assured me as long as I paid my belongings will be fine over the last few days consistently still claim I haven't spoke with anyone or made contact security public storage claim never received money don't even risk your belongings with this storage I will be spending every penny I got to fight this including all three stimulus checks never had a problem paying my storage ever worst of all I wasn't notified I had to call myself and get this news i couldn't pulled my belongings out doesn't make since just spiteful read more

This is the worst possible place to rent or store your things. I rented a truck and I was not able to return it same day so I assume they would have other trucks. But guess what. No they don't so what happens. They made me unload my belongings completely Inconvenienced me. My stuff is now out on the driveway way out turn to go in. I drove to return it. Got there before they opened and guess what. I call to let them know I dropped it off and the answer I get is "I don't have time for this" when I tell them they shouldn't charge an extra since they weren't even there when I dropped it off. And they hung up on me. Won't pick up my calls. The worst I tell you. No problem though. My amex will reject their bogus charge. I'm moving my things out. Will never ever give them any bussines . I have never ever heard of uhaul making you return a vehicle before your ready to take it back. Ever!! The worst guy there is the manager Rick. I went and asked him why he hung up on me. He said you were yelling. I explained I was walking back at a fast pace I wasn't. Guess his response. Well I had customers and couldn't take your call. Hum.... maybe let customer know. I'm busy can I call you back please. No people skills no customer service. The worts. Can't believe I gave a bad review. I don't think I ever given less than 5 stars before. read more

I had to move quick and had the need for storage. The managers, Scott and Kayla, as well as their staff were very friendly and the use of the truck to move into the units was awesome. The facilities are extremely clean, even months after I have been using my unit; the grounds and the interior of the unit, no ants, bugs, etc.. I also had a car stored here and felt very safe and confident about my vehicle stationed in its parking area as well as my belongings in the unit. I can not say enough about how great my personal experience has been and how grateful I am for them to be so accommodating and friendly, long after they earned my business. If you are in need for storage in the Orange County area there is no where else you need to look. The prices are great and Scott has always been around when I had questions. I have felt extremely safe and happy with choosing their facility. read more

Maybe 5 stars seems silly for a storage facility, but we have been with Carol, in Brea, for over a year now, and I can't praise her enough! The entire facility is clean and manacured. She is efficient, as well as kind. When we were desparate on moving day, she managed to find us an additional unit at the very last minute. I know she is very busy, but always takes the time to greet us by name, and makes sure any questions are answered promptly. We have more "stuff" to store than any family should, so we have a number of units. The Security Public Storage facility in Brea, CA on Apollo Street is a clean, well-kept, and truly secure storage area. The operators, Carol and Steve, are extremely helpful in explaining the different size units available, what to expect once you decide to keep your items in this facility, and how to access your items. They allowed me to use their own moving truck (practically brand new) for free on my moving day. My son also has used this facility in the recent past and has found them to be equally helpful, professional, and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility; you won't be disappointed. read more

Horrible place. Smells like cigarettes as soon as you walk in. Poor customer service/hours. Rented a unit there, loaded my uhaul, paid movers, arrived at the place and my unit was locked. I called customer service and was told that the manager Moon Robison probably forgot to unlock it. They gave me to choice to wait until 9:30am or comeback another day during office hours. Now I have to extend the rental truck, pay more gas to fill the the truck, take it back home and pay movers for 6 more hours. Stay away from here. read more

I have been renting a small unit at Security Public Storage for the past 6 months and have been very happy with the facility and service. The unit was clean when I moved my belongings in and they had a free moving truck available (only have to pay for gas) to reserve in advance. I have been using Security Public Storage for around 2 years now and they have been great. They recently slurred the asphalt and painted the doors to the units so it looks exceptionally sharp. Area seems to be safe and secure and management resides on premesis from my understanding. I also love the hours of 5:30 am to 7:00 pm. and staff has always been helpful as well. read more

I have been using Security Public Storage for years and have been very happy with them. It is very clean and extremely secure. You must punch in a security code before entering and leaving, and each unit has it's own security alarm. And Carol is wonderful!! My kids always beg to go with me to storage so they can go in and see her. read more

The rooms are clean, the office staff's professional, and they have several layers of security to watch over my possessions. The manager is on the ball and lives at the location.
