Security Pest Control left two trapped raccoons on the roof of the Fairlane Woods apartment complex in Dearborn, MI for THREE DAYS in brutally cold and snowy weather. THREE DAYS. This is unbelievable cruelty. The police department and the DNR have been notified as it is illegal in the state of Michigan to leave a trapped animal in a trap for over 24 hours. This horrendous cruelty is intolerable. Do better. read more

I recently called this company out for a problem with yellow jackets. The woman on the phone was pleasant and quickly set me up an appointment. Clayton arrived on time, answered my questions and quickly sprayed the area to get rid of the bees. I'm so appreciative of this company. I have called them a few times over the years and they are always pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would call again if needed read more

So today Joe came out to treat my home and yard over this intense ant infestation I am dealing with. I told Joe I am a betting man and I have spent about 500.00 in over the counter treatments and alls I have been able to do is to get them to move from one part of the yard to another. I am sure in their "90 day guarantee" these bastard ants will rise again and Joe said that the stuff they use is 10x more potent than what I buy at the store and he won't have to come back... I love confidence. Now the funny part is Joe is married to Lauren, the receptionist that was so much fun to deal with on the phone!! So that is now my 2nd review and I assume in 90 days I will make one more review to see who wins the bet!! read more

I called Security Pest Control for two issues: I wanted to spray the house for bugs (centipedes and spiders) and we had hole in an outside fascia board that let a squirrel move into our wall. Clayton arrived to our appointment right on time and was warm, fast and professional. Since he came during quarantine, he arrived at the door wearing a mask and gloves, and he was super friendly and amiable. He sprayed our basement, main level, upstairs and outside of our house in about an hour, very quick. And then he installed a one-way wire door onto the outside hole to get rid of the squirrels--it lets them come out of the wall but not go back in. He'll come back next week to remove it and temporarily patch the hole until we can call a handyman. All in all, working with Clayton and Security Pest Control was an excellent experience. They're fast, responsive and a good value; all my calls were returned promptly and Clayton showed up right on time for the appointment. (Which is not always the case with other companies, sad to say.) I was also delighted to learn that SPC is a family-owned business, which is probably what makes it great. I'll definitely use them again for next season's bug spraying, and I'll be recommending them to my friends and neighbors as well. read more

I called this company about a mice problem. I picked this company because it is family-owned. I called a few larger companies and received voice mails. This was the only company that answered the phone right away with a friendly live person. The technician was prompt, friendly, and knew what he was doing. The price was very reasonable and lower than competitors. I will call this company for any other pest needs. I highly recommend it. read more

Bird removal time was 3 minutes for removal of a live bird that attacked him. Inspection time was approximately thirteen minutes by taking pictures etc. He was clean and professional. Price was manageable and scheduling time was approximately 4 minutes. He was there slightly before time. Recommendations were geared to solutions. Yes, this is the right business. read more

This Company is Great. Clayton scheduled me immediately and explained what they would do and what to expect. I had red squirrels in my walls. Joshua and Jaylen drove through a snowstorm today to get to my home and had diagnosed the problem within minutes. They were professional, courteous and explained the whole process. Plus a 3 month guarantee to boot. Their prices were excellent. The whole process was efficient, thorough and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them! Thanks guys, you Rock. read more

I'm going to give this company a 3 star because they spray my home about a week ago and I'm still seeing bugs. They sent someone that didn't know what was going on... when I asked him to identify the bugs I was having issues with he was just as clueless as me. Also he barely sprayed my home only the windows. Not worth it I couldn't did what he did myself for way less money ! I also called and asked about my service and the lady said she would call back I haven't heard from her since . read more

I have been staying at my son's home during the lock down but came home yesterday. To my horror, when I turned on the dishwasher last night, a little brown mouse ran across my kitchen floor. I immediately called Security Pest Control. We have been using their services when needed for many years now. My appointment was set for today and Josh arrived right on time. I always have appreciated how professional this team is. He had a mask on when he arrived and quickly looked over the situation. As I am in a condo, he contacted the onsite property manager and sent pictures of potential issues for both my own home and my adjacent neighbor. He was very pleasant and completed all his work in a timely manner. We set a followup appt and he reassured me not to even think about mice in the meantime. This is a family business that is professional and to the point. They really know their business. I would recommend them any day to anyone with any type of pest problem. Daphne J read more

I had some yellowjackets between the garage wall and siding and under my deck that aren't too much trouble but I thought I should look into it. They called me back and we discussed the situation, they reassured me that if they weren't bothering me right now that I could wait and see how it went, as yellowjackets are cyclical and likely would not be back next year. I greatly appreciated that they took the time to talk to me and let me know I didn't need to have them come out right now. I was pleased that they didn't do a hard sell just to get me to hire them to come. Very ethical company! read more

Very professional and responsive pest fighters! I was going crazy for the last couple months fighting an ongoing flea problem. I had no idea why Frontline and other methods were not fully getting rid of the flea issue until Security Pest Control informed me I needed more than flea control with my dogs. I needed flea control in my backyard! I had no idea. Once my backyard was taken care of, the flea problem finally resolved and I gained my sanity. Would definitely recommend them! read more

Why would any company agree to come out without having the proper remedy to a situation? Clayton came out to my house 5 days before Christmas. He was aware that I knew where the "animal" came in and how it was walking between my first and second floor and how it had chewed through my cable line, which I fortunately didn't use. When he was at my house, he told me he ran out of one way doors, which is what should have been used, but would put in poison cubes, which if the squirrel ate, would probably die between the floor boards, rot, and smell bad. This was my only choice at the time, and I was freaked out about the destruction the squirrel could do. I was told he would come back after Christmas if it didn't die and put the "door" in. So, he put in 6 pieces of poison and it cost me $200 and the squirrel never touched it. Fortunately I was able to see it as it came out and secured the opening with some tin I had. I would never recommend this company. Clayton was very nice, but that was it. read more
