It is my first day using this storage place and I already regret it. Reasons why: 1. Dark Storage Units - Inside the storage unit is extremely dark. I don't believe I saw any mention of bringing your own lights. The lights in the hallway are not bright enough to light up the storage unit. I struggled for hours trying to build shelves in the light that I could get, but gave up because it was a pain. 2. Bad Support - I realized the 10x15 I picked was too big the same day I got it. Customer support said I can downgrade it in the first 24 hours if I go in and talk to the manager. I drove 1 hour for the person at the front desk to tell me that they cannot transfer to a smaller unit. So either customer support was wrong, or the front desk was wrong. So I wasted 2 hours of driving because I was told it was possible. I have had the unit for under 12 hours since they didn't open until 7am, it should still be possible to change to another unit. The website says 3 other units were available. 3. Unfriendly Service - The woman at the front desk is not friendly. She was unfriendly during all my interactions with her. But the chat support was much more friendly. 4. Inaccurate Storage Size - The 10x15 is more like 9 1/2 by 14 1/2. 5. No Bathrooms - If you are spending hours there unpacking, there is no bathroom to use. 6. Hot Building - The place is hot and there is no air circulation, which sucks if you are building up a sweat in the hot unit. Some pros: - Cheaper than some other options. - Lots of security cameras. - Two dollies available. - Easy sign up process. - Access at 7am Overall I'm left with a bad feeling about this place already. The lack of light made building shelves in the unit extremely hard. I would have brought lights and a fan if the website suggested it. And my interaction with the front desk did not feel welcoming. read more

Horrible service. The lady at the front desk was completely motionless, careless, and spoke with an attitude. When we arrived, she immediately said we were supposed to call first. We literally don't have transportation right now and just wanted to see the unit. She then said, "I'm about to go to lunch." Fine--go to lunch! Just say that so we don't have to ruin your lunch by being there. When my mom asked about the price for a 10x10 unit, she said it was $267 with 50% off. I asked if that was the price after the discount, and she said yes. Then I asked what the price was before the discount, and she repeated the same thing again like I was supposed to do the math myself: "$267 with 50% off." Somehow she acted like I was the one giving her an attitude. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't rent here. The place is old and run-down anyway. read more

Beware of this storage facility!!! no matter, If you care for your things - don't ever use this facility !!! i've been storing my motorhome in their facility and a week ago i was notified (out of the blue) that they're disabling my gate code until i'll send my updated insurance+docs , i was surprised there was no previous notice, but sent the updated files within 3 hours after receiving the email - and even called the office to verify the code is operating again - they confirmed the code is working. the 3 days later i took a $60 uber to the facility coz i live far and i planned to go on a trip, but the gate code was still disabled. i called the costumer service , they are useless and couldn't do anything , so i took a $60 uber back home. since then i've been calling their office everyday 3-4 times a day , no one is answering , i sent several emails to the office - NO Reply! the calls keep going to a their costumer service that cant reach them and can't do anything to help me The worst costumer service i've ever received!! they are literally holding my vehicle hostage and i truly don't know what to do anymore!! read more

Spent all day on the phone with them after we rented a space online just for them to say we had to come back in person because no one was there. Came back the next day just to say we weren't allowed to rent one anymore because we cancelled our previous reservation because again they said they couldn't give us access. This facility use to be Stor-Mor Self Storage Rosemead Incredibly frustrating experience with this facility. Just 2 days after receiving a move-out receipt indicating a $0 balance, we were shocked to find a collection agency contacting us about an alleged debt from the storage facility. This facility is very unreasonable and unethical. During the move-out over the weekend, we accidentally left some items in the hallway overnight. Understandably, We received a warning on Sunday and promptly returned to continue cleaning. Given the amount of stuff we had to clear out, we hd to make several trips between the storage unit and another location. In the process, we occasionally left some items in a public area that was out of the way of cars and parking spaces. During the clean up, a Rep on duty informed me that the office would close at 4 PM and that we would incur a penalty if we didn't clear everything from the hallway and lot area before she left. We explained that we were in the middle of multiple trips to remove the items and that the storage facility opens until 10 PM. Despite our explanation, she insisted on the penalty and didn't address my question about where in the service agreement does it states that items couldn't be temporarily placed in public areas during a clean-out. By the end of the day, we managed to clear out the entire unit, leaving no items in the hallways or lot area, and everything was swept clean. However, on Monday, we received a move-out receipt showing a $0 balance, followed by a collection notice claiming we owed money to the storage facility. Been using the facility since 2017, never had a problem until we are moving out. Now they tell us the penalty is not their problem and I will need to dispute with the collection agency. read more

My first point of contact was Vic over the phone & he was so helpful & held the pricing for the unit I was interested in . He took the time to explain the sizing & even mentioned that the next size up was a cheaper rate& a little bigger. He explained the special rate that was going on which I appreciated. The location was ideal to where my brother's apt was . The next day Daisy called to set up an appointment to see the storage . She was professional , patient , empathetic and I really appreciated her time . She showed me the 2 sizes. I told her that my brother had previously used them long term and was very happy with their services . He became ill& this was an emergency move . I was from out of state & a little frantic dealing with everything alone. I was only stowing 1 piece of furniture that I ended up not using them , but I would have had my brother's friend not shown up to help stow it at his house. I think this is a clean facility with a professional working staff that I would recommend & use in the future should I ever need them . read more

Top rating for Daisy, who helped us quickly relocate to a new parking spot (for our camping trailer) within the Rosemead facility at a LOWER rate. She was totally pleasant and efficient. We've rented here since moving to LA in 2016, so we've been through the transition to the new (yes, more corporate) owners: the old StorMor had terrible security (we had a battery stolen and our trailer broken into); the new owners have installed security cameras--42 of them--on the premises which are monitored 24/7. Also, our rate hikes since SecureSpace took over have been few and modest, esp. compared to Public Storage, which is a truly predatory business. read more

All the negative reviews about the new company taking over are sadly true. There are no staff on Sundays. I had a car follow me into the parking lot property without them putting in their own gate code. To me, this is a security issue as anybody could come in quite easily by following the car in front of them. I am assuming staff would police this but on Sunday's there are no staff. Second I used my code to open the gate into the inside storage unit and a couple of minutes later some person just walked in since the gate does not immediately close. I have no idea if he was an actual renter but again, no staff to stop them or at least give us the sense that they are keeping an eye on the property. Third, is the one elevator on the premise working Sundays? My unit is on the 2nd floor and when I went to store some stuff on Sunday I had to carry all my boxes up the stairs to my unit on the second floor because the elevator didn't seem to work. I am not sure if they turn it off Sundays since no one is working or the elevator itself simply wasn't working. This was the first time I have been back to the storage unit since SecureSpace took over StorMor. I am very disappointed. read more

I've been going to this storage facility since I was 5 years old when my dad would park his work trucks there, and he never had any problems with the previous owner's who were not corporate and treated people with dignity and respect. Fast forward 40 years, and unfortunately the new ownership can careless about you as a human being. To them you are just a number, and to make matters worse the staff who work there now are rude and inhumane. It's sad to see how something that use to be so personal and friendly can become so corporate where you as a person don't matter no more, because they just want your money. I feel the space ( 8 x 10 ) increase is excessive. In the year of 2022 was from $105-$112. Starting in December 2024 will be $193.22.

Also wasn't able to mention this in my last message , THEY BROKE INTO MY UNIT AND STOLE ALL My SUNGLASSES, - designer - and all my candles thankful it was just things that can be replaced but I wouldn't recommend using this company . They aren't helpful one bit , they all advice different things to do , as far as when my unit was broken into .
