I had a great experience then so here's my recent experience this past week: My nursing license was up for renewal the end of this month so like my usual procrastinator self for this thing, I renewed with my CEUs 12 days before expiration finished my application online and realized crap I need LiveScan fingerprints done?! The ones done when I sat for my boards don't count anymore?! Quick calls around local places states a few places stopped LiveScan services due to COVID19 but luckily secure LiveScan still was up and running. Thanks to their machine recording, I was able to confirm and plan for the next morning. The message recording stated masks were required so I was even happier to give them business since they were fully complying with the orders for masks. I went in at 10:05 am (opened at 10), there was a sign on the door with a person wearing a mask, stating "masks are required", there was a tray marked "clean pens" and a cup marked "dirty pens" for sign in. Still good! I signed in and was seen right away. The guy working there was a very nice older gentleman. Masked and gloved up he reassured me that everything was disinfected the night before when he left. Fingerprints were done in about 5 mins and I paid and left. I came here as I got hired as an accountant for a Health Care company and it was mandatory for my employment. When I arrived, I handed them my paperwork and asked what they were actually doing. They advised that this was a background check and the fee would be $74. I asked if I yelped, would I get a discount. They said yes, $5, bringing my total due to $69. They then told me to wait while they entered my information into the computer. When they finished, they called me in and said that they erred in telling me how much it would cost. It is now $84 and they would deduct $5 so it would be $79. Poor business practice. Once you quote a price and discount, you should stick to it. read more

I had called a different company and was quoted a fair price but, when I was ready to pay the woman decided to charge alot more than she had said. Doug on the other hand, gave me a quote, waited for me to show up and, then told me if I checked in I'd receive a $5 discount. Everyone loves to save money, especially when you are paying out of pocket to get a job. He was quick, courteous and, professional. He did joke a little with me but I think it's due to the fact he saw I wasn't in the best of moods.
