I have done the few things he has advised me to do and have come to him with the same issues over and over again. I have provided screen recordings, screenshots, and have offered to provide any additional evidence necessary to address the tech issues I am having. Each time I am brushed off, told to change a setting (which I have changed all of the settings he has advised, changed all my passwords, used Authenticator apps, etc.) with no improvement. I feel he means well but assumes the issues I am having are me just inflating issues or not that these issues could not possibly happen to an average everyday person, this refusing to actually look at the problem for what it is.

I tried flipping the keyboard upside down and using a blow dryer to dry out the remaining moisture but to no avail. At this point, I honestly knew that this would not be an easy fix because the parts for Huawei (Chinese owned) are hard to attained ( Trump blocked it), and I order to get to the keyboard, one would need to go through the CPU and mess with the tiny components/screws. Thankfully, Max was diligent and was able to not only figure out the setup for the laptop, but he also maneuvered in under the CPU to remove the old keyboard. When I called to inquire about pricing for an SD card that had been corrupted I was told $150-200…read morefor an easy fix and upwards of $2000 for a deconstruction/more intense recovery. I stated that the photos were of a wedding and it was very important that they be recovered. The estimate I was given was $600 and I truly believe it was because they knew how important the photos were as other reviews have mentioned. I was able to talk them down to $350 and had no choice but to pay it, knowing it would be a simple recovery and that I was being charged twice as much as the original price I was told it would be if it was on the easier side of things. When I got the photos back the image quality had been affected and the file type had changed from RAW to JPG. As a photographer that needs RAW images to effectively edit the photos I brought the issue to their attention and they said that's all they could do. So not only did I over pay but they never mentioned I wouldn't be getting back the actual files that I lost in their true form. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and will not be giving them my business in the future.
