He appears stern, yet is professional and considerate of your needs to make things easier.The last person (Troy) I believe drummed up a bunch of fake reviews on himself. Keeping in mind that that ALL these storage places increase their rates, it's the personal/human factor that makes the difference--how are you consistently treated by the facility(?). Additionally, the place is undergoing improvements. But for now, low rates plus great Norcross Manager may be a super trade-off for the shabby digs. No issues. Totally rookie company that keeps increasing the monthly rate while more customers flee. This repeating cycle to maintain revenue with less customers doesn't end well, SecurCare. Because of the frequent high increases, you get 1 star. The question is, when are you going to go bankrupt and sell to a smarter storage company. read more

After renting here for a year now can say the office and most of the grounds is clean, the staff friendly enough but post cards about payments needing to be made or even letting know that "the rates have gone up" (?) won't always to make it to your home. Some of the units being rented here are being used for businesses instead of storage. I became concerned one evening when driving in a saw one of the units being used as a body shop / chop shop. Speaking to the office about it they agreed this shouldn't be happening on the property but nothing has been done about it. Two months later random people are coming in and out of this unit pulling apart, rebuilding and painting cars here. See photos. read more

If you are looking for a storage facility that increases your cost on a regular basis then this is the place for you! You would think that a loyal customer of six years would be appreciated, but no, just the opposite. We have had a 40% increase over the last 3 years on the unit and parking spots we lease and I feel this ridiculous. I understand an increase but this is out of control. Your prices are already high for the area not to mention the location features are rarely working such as the gate, security cameras, and outside electrical outlets. But then SecurCare still sees it as good business to loyal customers to increase and increase and increase. And there is no consistency with the percentages you increase nor the time frame. We've have had TWO break-ins of our unit and not one time could SecurCare help with security footage because as your manager said "the camera never work". Security is one of the main reasons we moved to this location not to mention SECURE is your name, what's up with that? 2014 to current price: The unit was $235 now $364 Parking space was $50 now $82 Parking space was $80 now $132 That's $2,556 more a year! I do not know how many units are at your location and am sure I am not the only unit getting these insane increases, but if there are 50 units (which I know is a low number) that's $127,000.00 per year extra profit, yet you can't keep your end of the deal by maintaining the premises including security. Unacceptable. We have written to the manager and tried to reach upper management but we can't seem to find anyone that cares so I find it very ironic to receive a request for a review but as they say, ask and you shall receive. read more

This place is just an average storage with great prices. We were able to move in a whole bedroom and couch to a $50 climate controlled space. They also had a military discount which is amazing around here. They have a gate, and the service you get here is amazing. The woman at the desk gave us all the information we needed and more. She went over various plans with us, and let us even see the storages we went over. If you're looking for a bang for your buck storage location I'd 100% recommend this place. read more

Got a 10x15 unit in December. Went back a few weeks later to move some items out. Found about $2000 water damage in my new furniture. The back of the unit had water leaking down the wall. It was pooling at the base of the wall. I had some furniture leaning against the wall as well as on the floor against the wall. The wood is now swollen and destroyed. When I reported the damage to SecurCare (spoke with the local, regional and national folks), they said I was basically out of luck since I did not elect to pay for their insurance. One of them actually bragged to me they spend lots of money on contract attorneys to write their policies to protect them from ANY liability. The bottom line is that the furniture was damaged due to no fault of mine and complete fault of them. They refuse to offer any assistance at all. This facility is old and in poor condition. This company is obviously not concerned with the business of "Securing" your property with "Care". read more
