There was one other customer ahead of me but my wait time was less than a minute before I was getting help. My customer service person was Michelle. And she was fantastic. I told her that I was interested in looking at a 5 X 5 unit and within minutes we were off to look at one. She asked me all the right questions and led me to a unit that was exactly what I needed. We went back to the office and did the paperwork . Michelle explained everything clearly and concisely . She was professional and friendly . I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. I would totally recommend Extra Space and 5 Stars for Michelle!

The facility just opened in Feb. 2015 so it's brand new and spotless. There are cameras everywhere, and each leasee has their own personal access code, so folks can't go running around all willy nilly. Now on the Public Storage system website: I had previously reserved a space at another facility, only to get there and find out that they in fact did NOT have the space I needed. The manager was apologetic and offered to check other nearby locations for availability. On the website there were four facilities near the one I had originally reserved, and all showed availability. Thank goodness the manager had the gumption to call and check because lo and behold they, too, did NOT have the space I needed. I would have been driving around like a crazy person. The website also does not advise that there is a $19 fee for the lock that comes with your unit, and that insurance is mandatory and not optional. Basically, they're not holding themselves liable for your stuff even though you're PAYING them a monthly fee to keep it secure. Okay, sheesh. An extra $11/mo to insure items that aren't even worth half the maximum liability. Ultimately not a big deal to me but may be to someone else. The $1 promotional move-in rate is a selling point and is advertised just about everywhere. It was on the website and is posted on a banner outside of the building; it's even posted here on Yelp! So imagine my surprise when I arrive to move in and my reservation can no longer be found, despite me having a confirmation email and receiving a prompt call from Dorothy to confirm. It just disappeared out of the system! I re-do the reservation on site from my phone, and you guessed it, no more promo rate listed for my space! I now have to pay the $53 full month rate plus the $22 admin fee (whatever that is) plus the $19 lock fee, plus the $11/mo insurance, and now I'm over 100 bucks for move in. So much for $1 being a selling point. I would have made a fuss but quite frankly it wasn't Dorothy's fault and I needed to move ASAP. I suppose this is how these people make their money. Nevertheless, I'm semi content knowing that my stuff will be secure while I'm abroad, but it would certainly behoove Public Storage Systems to provide thorough, up-to-date and accurate information on their website!

I genuinely expected to move in and never see an employee which has been my experience at all other facilities to date. I could not have been more surprised. When I arrived Joe C was waiting in the office with a smile. He welcomed me and helped me get checked into my unit. We walked through my individual needs and he catered my experience accordingly. Working with Joe throughout the process thus far has been an absolute delight. He is professional, kind and treats you like a guest in his home. The facility itself if beyond expectations. It's clean, well maintained and just a great experience. I'm grateful I made this change and looking forward to working together going forward!

People leave trash around the facility and there is no one around at night to monitor the activities. When I have a problem, no one is around to assist. I can rent month to month for a reasonable price without having to sign a long term lease. I can add a unit when I get larger shipments and close it with short notice once those items are sold. Shipping to this location is the most secure setup I've ever had, with gated access and coded door entry. With a dock high dock and drive up dock, It's perfect for shipping/receiving pallets and loading/unloading smaller items. One of my units has power, which is another big plus, and the price per month for power is extremely reasonable because this facility has solar power. Too bad you can only give this place 5 stars!

They also make me feel safe here coming & going. If I email questions I get a very quick reply. I had a door issue they were quick to respond and address. I like the code to get in & out so I can come and go as I need to. I chose a non climate control unit, because I need drive up access. Otherwise I think I would suggest you get one with climate control for your own comfort if you will be in & out. Not an issue with the facility, just a suggestion in general. It is a little pricey, and you need to have insurance on your items. It was easier to just use theirs, so that is what I did, no issues thus far. A few things to note that I was not aware of- There is nowhere to toss regular trash, I have to take it with me. They have a dumpster you can use but there is a monthly fee and it wouldn't be worth it unless you had a lot of trash to dispose of each month and I do not. They did offer to assist if I had a box or something as a one off which was very nice of them. The other thing that surprised me was it costs more to have extended hours access. I do not recall how much it was because the regular access hours are early enough and late enough for my needs so I think you'd only need it if you come really early or return really late.
