This food quality of this place is terrible. It's been this neighborhood for decades and I have no idea how this is possible. The prices are high, for the neighborhood's standards, and the food is bad. I usually go once every 2 years to see if there is any improvement, but nope; still disappointing. And as bad as the pizza is, the service is somehow worse! If you have bad service and food. What else is there?

    piece of my nephew's burger.

This pizza joint is close to my brothers apartment, but I wish I just went the distance to find something better. My brother decided on the Grilled Chicken "Greek Style" wrap with fries, my nephew had a Cheeseburger with fries, I went with a Gyro and fries with extra sauce on the side and we got a slice for my niece. Because it was so close, my nephew and I picked our order up. When I arrived a short while later the order wasn't ready, but I expected that as not much time had passed. After waiting a bit longer my order was ready but was clearly missing items. I asked where my fries were for the wrap and after arguing with the person behind the counter, I had to point it out that they're supposed to come with the wrap. According to him, my gyro didn't come with fries so I paid the extra $2 for them. Then I noticed my extra sauce was missing. He didn't even apologize for being wrong, but apologized for the confusion. I wasn't confused, but he sure seemed to be. The food was terrible. Never in my life have I had such a small gyro, nor have I ever had CRUNCHY lamb. The lamb was sliced soooo thin, when it was grilled/reheated/whatever it became crispy and because I wasn't expecting that, it wasn't good. My nephew's burger was burnt to the point where all he tasted was char. My brother seemed to enjoy his wrap but he's a human vacuum cleaner lol. I'll never be returning.

Today I ordered crispy fries and crispy tenders. The fries were wet and greasy. Gave me instantly heartburn. I call them up and I'm told that since the boss isn't there, they can't help me. Try again tomorrow. Are you kidding me?

Which pie has extra cheese and where did you see the ham?

Customer service is bad plus they don't follow directions of your order, I ordered two pies pizza one with extra cheese and ham and the 2nd one with ham When the pizza arrived I was speechless plus they charged me $3.00 per topping I felt stolen. I wish that one day we can have a real Italian pizza shop, section 5 will go down hill.

Being a resident of Co-Op City, there are not alot of places to get good food within the Co-Op City limits (unless your willing to give up your parking space and drive to a Restaurant or wait 30-45 minutes for delivery from outside Co-Op City to arrive to your address). It's nice to have a place like SECTION 5 PIZZA in the area that can deliver good food at a fair price. Section 5 Pizza has a great selection of food to choose from - everything from Pizza to Club Sandwiches to Pasta Dishes. The food is always well prepared and tastes great. The Pizza is good, but I am really fond of there Chicken Parm, Hot Roast Beef Sandwich and BLT's. The Pasta dishes are good too! Nothing special but the food is always fresh, hot and good! The helpings are always plentiful which guarantee's you'll leave full. You can come in and enjoy your meal or call-in and have your food delivered. Deliveries are usually prompt and the in-door service is always helpful and courteous. If you live in the Co-Op City area - Section 5 Pizza should be a food stop destination you should try!

They make the best pizza around. Forget the chains and the frozen stuff. This is the Real Deal. Their seafood platters are very good with generous portions. Very good place.

Ordered 3 calzones - meatball, sausage and cheese. While the filling was good, disappointed with the dough, soft and hardly no taste.

Period…read more If you want to know what real New York City pizza is supposed to taste like, stop looking and get to Louie & Ernie's on Crosby Ave. This isn't just a meal; it's a Bronx institution. The Vibe: Old School & Authentic This place is as "old school" as it gets. It's located in the basement of a house, and walking in feels like stepping back into 1959. There are no fancy decorations or "artisanal" gimmicks--just the smell of fresh dough and a gas oven that's probably seen more history than most museums. * Pro Tip: It is CASH ONLY. Don't be that person who gets to the counter with a card; come prepared. The Pizza: The Best in the Bronx I've had a lot of pizza, but this is easily the best in the borough. * The Crust: Paper-thin, perfectly salty, and has that signature "Bronx fold" with just the right amount of char on the bottom. * The Sausage: This is their claim to fame. They use huge, fresh chunks of sausage that are packed with flavor. It's heavy, it's greasy in the best way possible, and it's legendary. * The Sauce/Cheese: The ratio is perfection. The sauce is tangy and bright, and the mozzarella is creamy and never "rubbery." The Service The staff here are exactly what you want in a legendary neighborhood spot--friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. They keep the line moving, but they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. Verdict: 10/10. It's simple, it's classic, and it's the king of the Bronx. If you haven't been, you're doing NYC wrong.

I thought it was going to be superficially large pizza with a horrible taste. ON THE CONTRARY - NO! The pizza was delicious and I found the salt content to be reasonable, perfectly salted. I paid 38$ for the super sized pizza. My kids devoured it, while my wife took pictures of of the kids eating their kite sized pizza slices. I highly recommend this "Bronx Style" pizzeria. They are better pizza places in the Bronx (Circle, Yankee Pizza, Ernie's, Tony's on Throggs Neck, Pugsley Pizza)z If the owner were able to improve on the pizza by incorporating better quality ingredients, I would definitely give it a shot again. I wouldn't even mind if they charged seven dollars a slice for that mammoth slice because it is very very big. But in its current incarnation, I would have to pass on a second round.
