I came to get a powder refill, originally i was told that i would be able to get a different color for the same price. After waiting for an hour, a nail lady sat and started my nails and told me that i couldn't do a different color, i had to get a new set or do a gel over the old powder. So i got the gel but she did a horrible job, my nails are uneven and lumpy and crooked. I was in a rush so I didn't have time to point out the issue so i justnleuse to love coming here but this experience has definitely made me not want to come back. Update: I went back asking for a refund, explaining how it had been less than a day and my nails were already peeling. This rude lady said she can't give me a refund because i paid for the service not the nails. I've never heard of anything like that. She refused to admit that one of her workers messed up my nails. I definitely will not be coming back to this nail shop again. I highly recommend you find a different nail shop to go to with a better staff. read more

I visited here after being fed up with my old nail salon doing a horrible job. I made an appointment with Andy (I had seen his work on Instagram) and he done an AMAZING job on my nails!!! I absolutely love them. I will be visiting here again!! His shaping is perfect, something my old nail shop was horrible at. I LOVE their pedicures!! The lady that done mine took her time despite the shop being on the busy side and made sure she done a good job. She had conversation with me, which is another thing my old nail shop never done. They also wrap your feet and legs in a hot towel instead of just laying them over your legs like most nail shops. It's safe to say I will never go back to my old nail shop again read more

this by far was one of the best nail salons i've been to! everyone was so nice and kind and they try to connect with their customers which is great. The guy did a great job on my pedicure, he took his time and he did not rush which i loved and he didn't hurt me. they took particularly good care of my nails as it seems the previous salon where i got them at used cheap products that weren't good for my nails. they let me soak for a long time and the were very careful with the drilling which i liked because i hate that. they are us the street from my house which i love and they off discounts to students as well. I paid 70$ for a pedicure and dip powder which i am very very pleased with. i will be returning. However, when you go here be sure to have time because the wait was about an hour. Never will I ever come here again!! I paid $78 for a full set manicure and a pedicure. Typically that's around how much I pay, but my nails would be perfect. Let's start off with my manicure, Anna did them and the nails are all different lengths. The powder is not evenly put on my nails and she made the nails too thick. I was in a rush the day I got them done so did not pay attention to my nails. My pedicure, do not get me started!! The lady who did my pedicure did not do my acrylic on my big toes properly. She didn't file down the acrylic I had already so now my toes have a lump in the nail polish. Also, the lady who did my toes her son was bothering her the entire time while she was doing my nails. That's probably why my white polish is already chipping. It has been 3 days only! I don't mind spending money on my nails BUT they need to be worth the money. read more

I was grabbing lunch next door and had some time to kill in between appointments, so I decided to try out secret nails. The place is cute and small, my dad and I were the only ones there. They had plastic screens up as a COVID protocol on the manicure stations. They had a decent amount of polish colors and dip colors. Lin started on my pedicure and about halfway through I asked if someone was going to be doing my nails and the lady told a technician to come to begin on the removal process-- another woman came over (not wearing a mask, and seemed agitated when I told her to put one on) and started filing the dip down and wrapping it, but left about half of my nails unwrapped and said she was going to pop them off with a fake nail and when I told her I'd prefer them soaked she rolled her eyes. Then women left and never came back-- it was only after my pedicure was done that Lin moved me and started on my manicure. It initially looked very nice, but 2 days later and 4 of my nails have chipped. Both of our pedicures were nice, but nothing extraordinary. I wanted to love this place because of its proximity to campus, but I won't be returning. read more

I get a gel manicure every 3 weeks, but since it's just a color change it's only $23 without tip. I never make an appointment, but I don't have to wait either. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. if there was a way to give 0 stars, I would. I waited almost 2 hrs for them to repair a broken nail in a 7 minute rushed job. My nails are different sizes, shapes, and colors now. The tech who did my nails yesterday completely avoided acknowledging my presence until the other techs told her to tell me they didn't have time to fix my nail...AFTER I HAD BEEN WAITING ALMOST 2 HOURS. finally, the owner summons me over to sit so she can do a horrible job at fixing my nail. I waited 2 hrs for her to fix my nail in under 10 minutes. the shaping is horrible, she put 2 coats of color on my nails instead of the 3 that is on my other fingers. awful job, awful service, awful business. We let them know that they wanted gel & they say "the basket is over there." We picked our colors and sat and waited. One person did both of our pedicures. They never offered us options on which pedicure we wanted. They just assumed we wanted the basic. She she stopped in the middle of my pedicure to tell me she didn't like the color on my skin and if I was sure that I wanted to keep that color. I told her yes and that I liked the color. When we were checking out I asked her why didn't she offer us her menu with the options for their business and she said "oh I didn't know." When two other women before us were getting an upgraded pedicure experience. She judged as soon as we walked in instead of giving us the service we desired & the others that were there. Yes I am a dark-skinned black woman and the women who were there before me were all white. This is a problem. The establishment is nice but their service is biased, inconsistent, and ill-managed. ZERO STARS!!!! I went to this nail shop for the first time, it seemed really nice at first. But the workers were very rude and they also were rushing and it showed. I paid $30 for the most basic pedicure I have ever received, only for my nail polish to chip excessively 3 days later. Three of my nails broke off within a week and the polish was also chipping. I went back to get the 3 nails that broke fixed, and 2 days later, two of them broke again. DO NOT GO HERE! The nail technicians are rude and unprofessional beyond belief. I got a pedicure with gel polish on Thursday April 15 and on April 16 I noticed that my toes had already started chipping WITH GEL POLISH. I immediately called the store on Friday to let them know that my nails were chipping and I I needed to get them fixed but I could not come in until after the weekend because I was going to out of town. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was kind, took down my name and said she would make sure that my toes were fixed Monday. I had an emergency come up at work on Monday, April 19 but I wanted to make sure they knew I was going to come to get my toes fixed so I went by the store on my break. The rude technician in the front asked me why I even showed up if I couldn't get my toes done. I explained I didn't want them to think that I wasn't going to be able to get my toes fixed. Great service, the ladies who work here are super nice and they really take time to make sure your nails look perfect. I came in right before closing once and they still didn't rush to get my nails done. Nice clean place. Prices are good too. However, the major problem I have is that both times I came the sample color I picked out wasn't true to color. The first time I chose a light beige and it turned out a pale pink. The second time I chose a muave and it turned out bubble gum pink!!! I'm really not into the color pink so this was very upsetting. There isn't anything "secret" about this place...in fact, avoid it. They were rude and insulted me over and over about my nails. Then...they charged me an extra $5 because I had too many cuticles. i hadnt been back here in about a year and a half, and i needed to get my nails refilled and i wanted a new design. i hadnt been satisfied with my previous job at another salon, so i was hoping that it could get corrected here. i made an appointment and wasnt waiting for long before they got started taking off my old polish. the lady was sooo nice and so gentle. i then went to another lady when she was freed up from her other customer. she was incredibly gentle when buffing my nails and doing my cuticles. ive never had someone take their time like that, and never have i EVER walked out of a salon with unscathed cuticles. my tech was AMAZING!!! she was able to fix the shape of my nails and even buff the acrylic that was left underneath during the previous job. she was so careful in doing my design and was so nice in striking up a convo. i felt so relaxed and this has got to be my favorite mani EVER!! and this design was under $50, which to me is a great deal because of the shape and color. will be going back here EVERY TIME:) read more

Called in advance (two weeks before and also a week before) notifying them that I would bring in a group of girls to get their nails done for homecoming. When I arrived the girls and I were treated horribly. I was told beforehand that 6 people worked there, when I arrived there were only 4. Upon walking in I was barely greeted and when the lady finally said anything she said she knew nothing about the group coming. Then one of the nail techs whispered that he suddenly felt sick and needed to go home, another customer laughed and told him to do her nails before he left. I've never been to a nail salon where everyone was rude. This place isn't kid friendly at all and I refused to spend a brown penny or let the girls spend their money in a place that didn't want it. The lady who did mine got the gel polish on my skin and the gel appeared very thin, almost like normal polish.
