After sitting dormant for years, it's nice to see Vera occupy this space. The community has clearly…read moreresponded, it's busy here all the time and it's not hard to see why: the amenities are nice, the facilities are clean with ample parking with a number of technicians available at any given time. Not only is the place bright and spotless, it even smells good. It's hardly a mega nail salon, but ownership has made good use of the space. The pedicure chairs are super comfy and have a remote with built-in massage options. While walk-ins are totally doable, it is recommended to schedule an appointment ahead of time. Bookings can be done online and with an individual technician with their schedules listed for everyone's convenience. If in doubt, call the phone number instead. Each person is required to sign in or register on an iPad. Service varies with the technicians. During my pedicure, my technician didn't say anything the whole time and motioned for me to do things without instructing me. She was very good at taking out skin with practically zero pain. The owner helped with additional clean up of the feet after an initial complaint. The basic manicure starts at $25, while pedicures are $35. Any additional or custom services will only go up in price here. They prefer payment via cash, Zelle or Venmo.

About 30 minutes later, I was told to go sit in the pedicure chair, so I assumed I would be helped shortly. Instead, I sat there for an entire hour with no water in the bowl and no one starting my service. I also asked for an eyebrow wax, which was never done during that entire time. Throughout the hour I was sitting there, employees repeatedly looked at me and walked past without communicating any updates or acknowledging how long I had been waiting. At one point, one of my friends laughed and an employee told her to be quiet because "people come here to relax." I found that extremely rude and unprofessional, especially considering we were paying customers who had already been sitting around waiting far longer than we were originally told. I was finally helped around 5:50 PM, only 10 minutes before they close at 6:00 PM. Even after my pedicure was finally started, the service was extremely disorganized. One employee started my pedicure and then stopped in the middle of my service to go help another customer. A completely different employee came over and continued my pedicure, then he stopped as well, and the original employee eventually came back just to paint my toes. I was essentially passed back and forth between employees after already waiting over an hour to even be serviced. I understand that businesses get busy, especially on weekends, but I arrived an hour and 35 minutes before closing, which is a completely reasonable amount of time to come in for a service. If they did not have enough time or staff to accommodate me, I would have much rather been told that when I arrived instead of being quoted 45 minutes, left sitting in a pedicure chair for an additional hour, and then passed between employees once my service finally began. Overall, the lack of communication, extremely long wait, disorganized service, and the way we were treated made this experience very disappointing and unacceptable. If you cannot properly accommodate a customer before closing, be upfront about it instead of having them wait around for nearly an hour and a half and then rushing and switching employees throughout their service.

Whenever my mom, mother in law, or other friends and family come to town, this is where I bring them. They always seat us together (easier if you book for multiple people than doing separate reservations, so keep that in mind), and my nails last longer than when I go DIY. If ambiance is what you're looking for, this is it. If you want a longer pedicure that will get callouses or rough skin off, don't expect the classic pedicure to be sufficient. You'll have to upgrade to the deluxe. I go back and forth on how much I do or don't like that they don't service men. Especially in today's world, I think gender specific segregation is a precarious position to take, it's also discriminatory to not service customers or even hire based on gender--and they notably don't have male staff.

I made an appointment online, and it was for gel nails. I wanted both my fingers and toes to be gel. The salon is beautiful! It is in a great location too, but the staff is not friendly or welcoming. When I got there for my appointment, there was no one at the door and I had to find a staff member to tell them I was there to check in. After they checked me in , they took me to a chair to start my pedicure. They then asked me what color I wanted... I didn't pick this out, they brought colors to me. Which was ok, but this is normally done before you sit down. After I picked my color, I was then told that they don't do gel on the toes. It was fine and I guess not that big of a deal. After my toes were done, I sat and got my nails done. I wanted a French tip with pink instead of white. They could have been better, and I feel my nail specialist was rushing. For the price and the quality of work, I don't know if I will return.
