There were people in the salon so I was surprised that I sat right down and Le got to work. Since I already had red nails that were severely outgrown, I decided on a green sparkly nail for the Christmas break. My nails were cut down and shaped to my liking! $45 plus tip. I went here for the first time, halfway through my nail tech left to start working on another client. he barely paid attention to my nails, cutting them without even comparing the sizes, which led to my nails having different lengths. they told me they had builder gel, but proceeded to just use regular gel. I tried telling him that it was not the correct shape and design I wanted but he could not understand English. Terrrrible!!! I had come here before and it was great- this time was disappointing all the way around. My appointment was for 12 noon- I request a specific technician then stated if she wasn't available I would take another female tech. They give me a male tech- my dip nails were SOOOOO thick, I asked him to file it down; he cuts my cuticles and I'm bleeding on several nails. I alert someone to what's going on they switch me to ANOTHER tech who then files each nail down decides that she will do GEL POLISH on TOP (uneven and missing polish on the side where you can still see my actual nails)!!!! 2 + hours my nails look horrible, NO apologies, no discount- or future credit. that is unacceptable and I will NOT be coming back or recommending this place. I just started coming here after some not-so-great service at another salon. Per recommendation of the other Yelp reviews, I called ahead to make an appointment to avoid a long wait when I arrived. I was able to make an appointment for the same day without a problem. They were also able to quote pricing over the phone which was nice. I went in for a Gel manicure and it was $35. (I was told dip would be $45) When I arrived, I chose my color and was seated shortly after. Tim was my technician and he is wonderful! I was sure to request him for my second appointment too! I posted pics of my first appt and second (I just got back from my second appointment) my first manicure lasted about 3 weeks which is great for gel! Everyone I met there is very friendly and helpful. I asked for a round shape for my first appt (pink nails in picture) and almond shape for my second appt (teal nails in picture). I plan to continue coming here because of the great service, fair pricing, and it's conveniently near where I work! read more

I decided to try a new place as I have not found a place I love in Baton Rouge. I definitely do not recommend. The lady who did my pedicure was AMAZING and if it wasn't for the awful experience after my pedicure I would go back just for that. I did not have an appointment but they said it would be 15 minutes so I waited. I finished my pedicure and I wanted pink and white acrylic and the lady who did my pedicure did not do acrylic so she went and grabbed the manager I assume - she told me it would be about 20 minutes as she was with another client and I told her it was fine I could wait. I sat there for over an hour waiting. She comes to get me and then proceeds to say that they don't do acrylic pink and white they can do the acrylic and do gel tips or do a white fake nail. This was not what I asked for when I came in - she proceeded to speak to someone else who explained to me that they don't use the "chemical" for acrylics so they couldn't do what I was asking for. As I look over another girl is using the "acrylic technique" or "chemical" - I truthfully wanted to walk out but I had already be there for about 3 hours now. The guy said he would take care of me and the girl proceeded to move to the next person I then again waited about 10 minutes for this man to do dip on my nails - not acrylic like I asked. I ask showed him the picture of how thick I like the white tip on my nails ( the last picture ) and he told me he could only do about 70% of that. I asked why and he said well maybe 90%. after dipping the first two nails he asked if I liked it and I said no can you please do it thicker. He did not do it any thicker. My white tips are uneven and my nails have grooves in them ( second picture it's hard to get a good photo of it but it is very noticeable in person. ) My total was $115 for a pedicure with gel polish (they did not say there was a $15 up charge for gel) and dip nails with tips. For the money I paid I am not happy with the results. If you're going for gel nails it seems like that's all they know how to do so you might be okay - I doubt it though. read more

As a walk in, I anticipated having to wait to be serviced but to have another person come in as a walk in to be helped before me was unbelievable. Maybe my melanated skin inferred that I be last! I got the Dip Polish because all of the other polishes peel off my nails so quickly. Nancy made my nails go from yikes to beautiful in 45 minutes! I received a dip powder with tips service over this past weekend. Within 24 hours a tip popped off. I returned to have it repaired but there were concerns about the integrity of the other nails (due to prior complaints about the way the tips were glue one......but I was "reassured" that they were fine. Not even two days later another tip comes off. I call again to complain, and I'm offered another repair That's all fine and great, but I'm not interested in continued trips across town to repair each nail as it breaks. Within 4-5 days, I now have a set of nails that I completely hate. And will have to soak them off at home myself. It's really irritating to think that I paid 55$ plus a tip....... Only to have to remove them myself after such a short time. My suggestion to this salon is to not take appointments for specific technicians if they are not available to do the entire service (if requested by customer). I was in love with my nails the first time I came to this salon, and they held up really well. But this time a different tech "assisted" my requested technician. And it has been an awful experience since. I will not be returning to this salon and have cancelled my future appointment with them. read more
