We're preparing to sell our home and were touching up all the paint. First, we needed to match our master bedroom, and after our own failed attempt (which left us with polka dots!), we were convinced we'd have to repaint the entire room. The staff at Hadlock's saved the day with an absolutely perfect match. Then, just a week later, we had a ceiling mishap. I went back again, and once more, they were patient, precise, and determined to get the color just right. With only hours before our first open house, the color matched perfectly--saving us from repainting an entire ceiling! With a background in property management, I can say that truly accurate paint matching is rare. It's usually "close," but not close enough to avoid repainting whole rooms. Hadlock's nailed it both times. Hadlock's will be my new go-to for all things paint. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I recently learned from an online friend that they also sharpen knives! The prices are fair, and depending on the day, they can have them ready in about an hour (sometimes even faster), which beats waiting days like other spots. A few times a year, usually around the holidays but sometimes other times too they run a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Definitely worth checking out, but I'd give them a quick call first to confirm when it's happening. They also have a punch card program, and I grabbed a knife bag for $5 that's totally worth it. All in all, it's a solid neighborhood hardware store-with friendly staff, fair prices, and plenty of parking in the strip mall area.

They've got everything you could need for home improvement projects, even the smallest ones. The staff on the floor were friendly and knowledgeable--another big plus. I liked the idea of supporting a local business for what I needed instead of going to a big-box store. That said, you might pay a little more for some items. I'm also thinking of calling to see if they offer knife sharpening--another local hardware store I know does this. The inside is just what you'd expect from a hardware store: neat, tidy, and well-organized. Definitely worth a visit! Parking can be tricky, with a small lot and some street parking available.
