We're preparing to sell our home and were touching up all the paint. First, we needed to match our master bedroom, and after our own failed attempt (which left us with polka dots!), we were convinced we'd have to repaint the entire room. The staff at Hadlock's saved the day with an absolutely perfect match. Then, just a week later, we had a ceiling mishap. I went back again, and once more, they were patient, precise, and determined to get the color just right. With only hours before our first open house, the color matched perfectly--saving us from repainting an entire ceiling! With a background in property management, I can say that truly accurate paint matching is rare. It's usually "close," but not close enough to avoid repainting whole rooms. Hadlock's nailed it both times. Hadlock's will be my new go-to for all things paint. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I recently learned from an online friend that they also sharpen knives! The prices are fair, and depending on the day, they can have them ready in about an hour (sometimes even faster), which beats waiting days like other spots. A few times a year, usually around the holidays but sometimes other times too they run a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Definitely worth checking out, but I'd give them a quick call first to confirm when it's happening. They also have a punch card program, and I grabbed a knife bag for $5 that's totally worth it. All in all, it's a solid neighborhood hardware store-with friendly staff, fair prices, and plenty of parking in the strip mall area.

This was after we asked if they had the proper size bucket and was assured that they had it ready for us to use. When we called back, they told us all they had was a grading bucket and that we would have to go retrieve it ourselves after they were late to deliver our rental to begin with. Overall, they gave us the wrong equipment , gave us poor customer service and they lied about the equipment for us to rent and then said they never said it to begin with.

You've cost me money now. Your customer service was very friendly, but it's nothing when it only adds up to trouble and frustration for the customer you said you'd provide a service to. When Ontario's only hardware store blew up in 1992, many of us thought that was the end of small town convenience and local hardware. I mean big box home stores were shutting down hardware stores left and right anyway. However, when Secor Hardware came to Top's Plaza in Ontario over a decade ago, we were proven wrong. No more driving to Webster and wandering around the big box trying to find what you need or worse yet trying to find someone to help you. Secor is, in a word, wonderful! When you walk in the door, you are greeted and if you need help you will be taken to the item you are looking for. However, it is not just help finding what you need... The folks at Secor are very knowledgeable and always willing to give advice on how to do what it is you are working on. Just ask! The store recently expanded and is the perfect size. It is easy to get in and out quickly but magically seems to always have just what you were looking for. Secor, the store with so much more! read more
