Such an amazing experience! The service, food and ambiance was wonderful. Some friend and I went towards the end of the night. We for the Caviar, a few dishes to share and the frozen key lime pie stole the SHOW! 10/10

This was our 5th or 6th visit yet 4th time refused to seat us as we requested on our reservation. For an oyster bar they don't seem too interested in seating in the oyster bar area. Seems apparent also since hotel management change so has the menu offerings & interest in service hospitality.

All I have to say is LOBSTER ROLL!!! It hit the mark and then some. I actually can't wait to make a man pay for my next one!!! Our waitress was amazing and attentive but not in a hovering way. I really enjoyed the theatrics that accompanied the Holy Water. So fun! And the oysters (and the cute guy shucking them) were perfect. Oh and that radicchio salad cannot be overlooked. It was incredibly fresh and tossed in the right amount of dressing. Tens all across the board!

Seaworthy is always worthy of your time in NOLA. I always stop by when I'm in town. It has reliable service, drinks and food that always satisfies. Oysters are always fresh and perfectly shucked and served with a smile. It was near closing and the staff was very accommodating which was appreciated. Can't wait to visit again

I love the rustic decor. Seaworthy has a great oyster happy hour and broad raw bar selection. NOLA isn't really known for raw oysters per se, so finding a location that specializes in raw oysters can be tough. Seaworthy checks all the boxes - great selection, good shucking, and knowledgeable staff. If you're lucky enough to dine in during the holidays, explore the seasonal drink menu.

Service, wine, vibe... so good. Spooky kind of ambiance (which I love). Our waiter was so kind and helpful with choosing between what we wanted to order 1000/10

I stumbled into this spot (which is kind of hidden) thanks to the recommendation from a friend. I sat at the bar and had rose, charred oysters and the Cesar salad. The charred oysters were phenomenal. The meal was a good size with the salad. Initially the salad looks enormous, but it's just leafy and paired with the rose and oysters, it just was a good meal. It's pretty dark inside, so do keep that in mind. Sitting at the bar does allow you to chat with the bartenders and servers, which I always enjoy. I was seated near the kitchen and it was just a bit odd.

Seaworthy isn't just a restaurant; it's an aesthetic. The vibe is dark, nautical chic with just enough mood lighting to make everyone look 15% hotter. Come for the oysters, stay for the lobster roll, and leave wondering if you can pull off a captain's hat without looking like a tourist. I do enjoy this restaurant but I find it a bit irritating that the entire menu changes every 3 weeks. Once you like something and want to get it again, it's gone.

Just a block down from the (was ACE hotel)--stay tuned for the new Barnett hotel review. Seafood restaurant with the best oysters shucked right in front of you. What a selection they have and are very knowledgeable on the subject if you are not! We had the Canadians and they were sooo clean and crisp that we had them a second time! You can get horseradish and sauce for them if you like. All very fresh. My first suggestion is do not pass up the opportunity to try them. I hate to say this but here... they were better than what I had in Boston. I did tell them that! There are food choices for anyone including the non seafood loving but I would definitely go for the seafood. The price options also vary so there really is something for anyone. Good date place. Staff are so attentive, professional or... entertaining. We chose to sit at the oyster bar as we were always walking the city and landed somewhere with our backpacks but certainly there were many there for date night and dressed for it! Beautiful place with beautiful seating even when at the oyster bar. There is outdoor seating as well on the patio. Also very intimate. Ok so now the fun. We went there a couple of times ummm.... maybe 4 because the oysters were so good and chose to try everything we could from the menu. There was not a bad choice. Happy hour is from 4 to 6 and I would highly suggest it. 1/2 price oysters and a special app menu. Drink discounts as well. The staff are so friendly and entertaining. Good humor and really engage you. So...aside from the best oysters in the city, the staff really make the place engaging and enjoyable. I will definitely be back!

Had a nice Xmas dinner here with my friends. The service here was very friendly. We ordered a few dozen oysters, the octopus, the lobster, the tuna tartare, Parker house rolls, fries, charbroiled oyster (we love oysters), shrimp cocktail, and many drinks and glasses of wine. The highlights were the oysters (shucked perfectly, absolutely no shell) and the Parker rolls. The shrimp cocktail was good put I believe the shrimp were precooked well in advance. While I liked both the tartare and octopus for the bold flavors that were present (the beats in the tartare had a bbq smoke to them which I liked and the octopus and a lot of sauce with it), some of my friends felt it was too aggressive. All minor issues. Lastly, while getting cocktails did take quite a bit of time to come, they were all very well made cocktails. I would definitely come back here.

Happy hour was the best and the espresso martini was perfect. The restaurant had east, west and gulf oysters on the happy hour menu. The restaurant was nice inside the service was good and everyone was very attentive. Didn't get to try anything on the regular menu but I bet it's just as delicious as the happy hour menu. Highly recommend this place will be back to try more.

This was one of the best happy hours I've had a in while. Absolutely love the vibes here!!! Tucked away, dimly lit but I can still easily read the menu. All the staff members were polite and charming and worked together. Our cocktails were delicious, I love that they feature a classic daiquiri on the happy hour menu. We had 3 dozen raw oysters for the table which were incredible. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go without ordering their house made rolls. I'm not someone who usually orders bread... but these rolls were off the chain!!! Our sweetheart waitress recommended them and I'm so glad she did. And this special butter that comes with it was divine!!!

Is this a place you would go for a quick bite before going out or is dinner typical restaurant length?

I'd suggest hitting Seaworthy for their Happy Hour (discounted oysters and drinks)... best/freshest oyster I've had in town and the selection from numerous regions is impressive

    When is Happy Hour?

    Wednesday-Sunday 4-6pm

Picking up visitors from airport. Saturday, very late night, 11:30pm - Midnight'ish. They'll have a 10yr & 13yr old with them. Will the kids be allowed to eat here at that time?

Def call, but I would say no. It's not a comfy place per say especially for younger ones who may be tired / hungry. It's more chic than family really.

The presentation of the food came was amazing. We ordered the linguine and added meatballs, which was well worth it. We also ordered the shrimp & grits, which included Brussels sprouts. Boy, it was sure nice to get some vegetables in my stomach after eating all that yummy fried food during our stay! All in all, both dishes were delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, but after several days of eating in the touristy area of the French Quarter, this was truly a welcome change. Service was polite and attentive. I always appreciate the staff's efforts by making simply making eye contact and smiling (which they did). Seems trivial but I think those small things says a lot about a business. The ambiance is amazing, plus velvet, emerald and sapphire tone, glitzy, and feels like a good photo op. The bar and cocktail menu looked expansive. However, I was going to be hopping on a meeting, so I could not partake, unfortunately. A group got this impressive tower of espresso martini and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks! I wanted that New Orleans seafood but had late lunch, so I opted for just the crispy gulf shrimp on cheesy grits. I really wished I can hungrier because the dish ended up being very heavy. The shrimp were nice and crispy. The charred Brussels sprouts gave me the false sense that this was a healthy dish because I was getting my veggie intake. The bacon jam was sweet and went well with the Brussels sprouts. I loved the combination of the cheesy grits and the Crystal hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of both and some how led me to understand why Americans put hot sauce on their Mac n cheese and some other cheesy dishes after 30 years of not really understanding the attraction to that combo. I got the marinated olives to go so I could have a little snack later. They were just stuff I feel I could get in a jar... not really sure if I could justify the price. I think this is a fine place if you're looking for a photogenic night out drinking with a group of friends. Could be really cute for brunch!

We weren't super hungry so we split a bunch of lighter bites and grabbed a handful of cocktails as well. Our favorites of the night were the crab tartlettes and the savory calas with snapper pastrami. The tuno crudo had fresh fish but it felt a bit overwhelmed by the other flavors, which were kind of one-note and heavy. The bread that came with it was overtoasted, but the foie gras parfait was excellent. We ended the night with the grapefruit sesame panna cotta.
