She gave me a thorough examination using the iTero scanner and showed me what my teeth would look like with the Invisalign treatment. Thuy, the receptionist, was super helpful in breaking down what my insurance covers and the cost of invisalign I would pay. Came back a separate time to get my teeth cleaned with Dr. Daniel Lee, and he'll explained everything I had questions on. If you're a new patient, he does x-rays and two sets of scans of your teeth, so you have lots of records of your teeth. This new patient process take 1 1/2 hours and it's all worth it! I would advise people to come 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment. Mostly to play with their dog and to fill out insurance paperwork.

At that time, I had just moved to the United States, did not speak English well, and naturally relied on my husband to communicate. Instead of showing understanding, Kelly made remarks suggesting that I was like a child depending on my husband. I found this deeply mocking and humiliating. During the cleaning, she smiled while inflicting pain on me, and it felt cruel and deliberate. As an Asian immigrant who couldn't speak English then, I felt that she treated me differently in a way she would not have treated other patients. That made the experience even more painful and isolating. I cannot confirm whether Kelly is still working there, but that experience left me with lasting trauma and a deep mistrust toward dental hygienists in America. In my opinion, no patient should ever be made to feel ridiculed or discriminated against because of language or cultural background.

What ended up happened was that they charged the insurance a big amount for a more complicated restorative service that I never signed up for. They never communicated this with me that they were doing a restorative service instead of a preventive service until I later found out myself. I never expected a big amount of copay for having a regular cleaning. Later I went to another clinic and they didn't have any copay for a regular cleaning. I don't recommend this clinic. If you go, please be very aware of what service they are providing/charging you.

I was taken aback because while I've had cavities in the past, they were always minor, and I've never, ever needed fillings. She seemed to take offense that I was questioning her expertise, which I can understand, but that surprised me that in just 1 year my teeth were decayed that bad despite for years during my previous checkups I'd get a thumbs up and the usual "your brushing is good, but you gotta floss more, don't skip it!". So, I went with it. I go for the concurrent fillings - paying out of pocket because insurance does not cover all of this, and each time they were painful and just all around unpleasant. After the first one she did I simply asked her, 'if there is usually any discomfort with fillings? I heard root canals were the painful procedures.' She simply said, "I know what I'm doing and have been doing so for xx years." Also, I had pain in my teeth and even now, occasionally have pain when I eat something. That never happened before I got these fillings. Just as she advised I made it a point to brush very thoroughly and floss both twice daily, sometimes I'll do 3. She still remarked that 'if I brushed more consistently, I wouldn't have to scrape plaque under your gums.' Because this was probably my most unpleasant cleaning I've ever had. So, between my recent visit and the fillings, I think this will be my last visit here.

And they aren't afraid to tell you that they know what's best for you!! they feel like family, from Dr. Bajwa working hard to keep your mouth healthy whilst making sure you feel comfortable with the process, to the Hygienists (Tina, Angie, Nada, and Mariana) who make polite conversation, are super gentle if you tell them you have any pain, and generally make you feel more relaxed as the dentist could be a stressful place at times. But my favourite person there is Crystal! she's so sweet and kind and never misses a beat when it comes to you. She always lets me know the dates of my appointments more than once! She's a sweetheart and isn't afraid to show a little compassion and empathy, and the only dental office person i know to accept hugs! But she still has to do her job! so cancel before it's too late, and don't blame others for your own mistakes either, we're all adults here. :) All in All, i've been going to this dentistry all my life, my parents and grandparents have gone here and so will my kids! The office manager, Aaron, told them he couldn't have the files sent, even at his cost, he had to come in and get them. So my brother arranged with me to take him today. He confirmed with Aaron on Monday that he'd be there today, Thursday. Giving him plenty of time to locate the files or let him know that he could not. My brother also called this morning to confirm that he'd be in at 2pm and Aaron said "great, looking forward to seeing you." So we get there and Aaron says he hasn't been able to find the records and makes him wait while he looks some more. He didn't find them. He also didn't apologize or take any responsibility for not notifying my brother that he couldn't locate his files prior to him showing up. It takes my brother 2HOURS!! to get dressed because of his disease and this guy could give a shit! Makes him come down to the office only to have not been bothered to even look or notify him that there was a problem. I'm so mad. What Horrible treatment of the disabled, and no help offered to solve the problem!! Don't do business with this terrible place!!!!
