We did make it, but it was slow. I was on the search for a zipper hoodie, but didn't have any success. We're going back tomorrow so hopefully with more exploring we'll find a white one. I did get two small 4x6 prints of some original artwork. One is of the Space Needle and another is of the Pike Place Market iconic sign. I wish she was selling her originals, but I'll settle for the prints. My girlfriend got some hair ties. There was so much to see and places to explore. We are looking forward to going back tomorrow. Day 2 was even more fun than day 1. My girl friend's local cousin bought a fish do we got to see the fish throwing up close. I know it's a gimmick, but it's so fun to see, you don't want to miss out on all these touristy things as a tourist. We used the super secret clean bathrooms which was a blessing. We got lots of great fresh food. We went to the places with the longest lines indicating the food was turning over quickly. I had a list of places I want to eat at. We only made it to 2 on the list. I was disappointed that we missed the grilled salmon sandwich and chowder. We were only here 2 days so we didn't have the stomach for more food. We stuffed ourselves silly.

Now, years later and with my family, this was the first place we stopped at after landing. The things that have changed the most in 13 years was how crowded it was on a Monday. It felt like a weekend crowd and it terrifies me to think how busy it must get on Saturday and Sunday now. I had a route I used to take people but a lot of places have closed now. Still existing, though the lines were super super long. -The old logo starbucks, I think this is the only place that still uses the old bare chest mermaid logo. -The oldest comic book store in the world that is still operating is at Pike Place. -Flower and art market are still fun to walk through, like a farmers market every day.

I loved seeing such a wide variety because everyone in our group was able to find something they genuinely enjoyed despite our different tastes lol Personally, I ended up buying a Green Amethyst necklace from Sea Diamonds, a ring from another jewelry vendor, a chain and three charms from a vendor in the indoor section, and even a custom poem from an artist who was creating them on the spot with her typewriter! That was definitely one of the most unique things I came across. As for food, I got to try the Crab Mac & Cheese from Sam's Crab Mac & Cheese and was completely sold after the sample bite (highly recommend!!). I also enjoyed a Mangonada from one of the Mexican food vendors, and the Watermelon Sour Cotton Candy from CottonMouth Confections, which was another standout and definitely worth trying!! Overall, if you want to fully explore everything the market has to offer, I'd recommend setting aside a few hours.

They had great music playing. It's right next to the water. There are also lots of food options nearby. This was a MAGICAL stop on my recent trip to Seattle.

The location is absolutely perfect, since the shelter keeps the event on both rain and shine. The flea market is filled with local makers selling their winter holiday goods. Some of my favorite booths included the handmade dumpling, vintage clothing booths, the cute festive stationary and holiday cards, and the many coffee stations. This is one of the best places to go to when you're looking for a unique gift that's memorable. We stumbled on fossils, vintage jackets, and the most beautifully scented handmade soaps. There is a time to time bubble snow in the center of the market. For the food I like the Parmesan noodle that hot scrap and mixed in the spot. I also like the skew bbq meat. There are plenty of food vendors. That includes the hot chocolate, chimney cake, molding chocolate, Asian food, kabab and more. The decorations all over the market. Plenty of photo spot. The night ticket is more expensive than the day ticket. For this cold day, I prefer the daytime visit.

Excellent market. As far as getting there, the light rail U District station is two blocks away from the farmers market, and there are parking lots for people who drive here. Super easy!

My friend picked up some fresh radishes, mushrooms and tasty homemade hummus from the various vendors in attendance. We also got a veggie panini from a griller vendor at the market. Overall, the market is on the small side focusing primarily on produce over products and other miscellaneous sometimes seen at the larger ones. This is kind of nice as there is a lower amount of foot traffic, but the options are more limited.
