Coming here in late September was probably the most perfect way to end summer. Despite being from Washington, this was my first time at the Fremont Sunday Market and I absolutely loved it. We came a little after 10am and were able to find free parking a couple blocks up the hill. I would say that it stayed pretty empty until like an hour or two in, so we were able to walk the entire market before it got too crowded. If you like thrifting or vintage shopping, this place will definitely scratch that itch. Also be sure to bring some cash because some vendors will sell to you for lower if you just ask! My hubby and I visited the Fremont Market, which takes place every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and it was such a fun and lively experience. We headed over to the food truck area for lunch and were so glad we did! We started with a Beef and Cheese Piroshki from Piroshky Piroshky. The pastry was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, with a warm, melty cheese and savory beef filling inside. It was comforting, flavorful, and super satisfying--not to mention reasonably priced. For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the Mokka Crowned from Moklava. The Mokka Crowned is essentially a bowl of saffron pistachio with Crowned Veklave, and we added one scoop of strawberry rose. The flavors and textures were beautifully balanced, and it looked just as amazing as it tasted. Enjoying these dishes outside in the sunshine made the whole experience even better. This market is definitely a good destination if you have a family / kids to entertain. If Seattle weather cooperates, the walks can be very entertaining because the whole market is lined up along the banks of Fremont river. There are various stalls and businesses that are local and engaging. The items are a bit pricey and not always in reach but that's typical of these Sunday markets/ farmer markets. Here are a few things we experienced - Sookh ice cream. We tried the cardomon caramel ice cream and we also had the pistachio ice cream. Both delicious. Their mango ice cream is also yummy. - whateke Mexican food cart. We tried the nachos (highly recommend) and the tacos (they were ok). They do have jarritos. - Kathmandu momocha. We had their cheese balls (omg! Delicious!) and veggie Momo's (not so great. Mainly coz they were bland). I would not recommend the Moklava food cart. Not coz they don't have good ice cream. But because the guy manning the truck is rude and non-businessman-like. All in all, the market, the stalls and the "hypermarket" which is indoors is worth a stroll. Parking is definitely tough here. I went for the U-park location and paid about $10. Not many other options it you can't find street parking. read more

After dining nearby the entrance to the market, my boyfriend and I decided to walk through the market before heading out. We love farmer's markets, and this is such a great one! Love knowing that they are open year round, too. I was impressed at how many food trucks and vendors were on site, too. Lots of fun options from Korean bowls to boba trucks. Had we not just gotten brunch I'm sure we would've hit up a few of the trucks and split some fun menu items. The assortment of vendors is also great. Tons of booths selling all sorts of local goods. We snagged some flowers from one of the vendors. Love that their $20 bouquets are huge and beautifully arranged. We didn't have a ton of time to walk through so we definitely want to return sometime this summer. I'm sure once the weather gets nicer it'll be super busy! read more

Just a fun little flea-market/farmers market type place to come out on a Sunday if the weather is good. Lots of cute stuff. MAJOR IMPROVEMENT SINCE LAST YEAR! As someone who's probably been to this market at least 20 times within the last two years, I can confidently say it's improved so much recently. I went this past Sunday and it was amazing. So many vendors, with the main ones being jewelry and vintage style clothing. The prices can range from $5 rings to 100 or more. There's definitely something for everyone. I can easily spend 3 hours here just deciding what to get, because there's SO MUCH. great place to go with friends too! Also, THE FOOD TRUCKS have gotten progressively better and better and better. I got something from Sully Eats I'm pretty sure (I wish they had a Yelp page but I'm just gonna review here), BEST homemade bagel sandwich I've EVER HAD!!! I had the avocado toast with fire roasted tomatoes and pickled onion - sounds so simple but WOW it was just unlike any other avocado toast I've ever had. Had a great time at the Sunday market in Fremont! It was a lot more vintage clothes and crafts than food which I liked. They did have a food court area with some vendors but I didn't get to see too much of that area although everything smelled great. On our last weekend visiting Seattle (Cali homeward bound!) we stumbled into the Fremont Sunday Market. It's a bit on the small side but very nicely placed under the overpass to provide some rain coverage. Most of it is more like a flea market, but a small chunk is more like a craft faire, with food trucks and hand made wares. I grabbed a couple tamales from Tamale My Life, which were amazing! I've been wanting some fantastic tamales while we've been in Seattle and they definitely hit the spot. All in all, if you're walking the trail on Sunday you should definitely drop in! read more

If you love the thrill of having quality fashion pieces you can only find by digging through mountains of clothes but hate doing the digging then this market is your paradise. There's lots of unique items at great prices plus many beautifully created items. And although it's not a farmers market, you will find food from delicious food trucks! Theres an area dedicated just to food trucks along the one long street of booths you wander through with a DJ to keep you company. We decided to try dumplings from Kathmandu MoMocha who serves cuisine from Nepal. The pork Dumplings are really good and have big chunks of meat inside. I chose a mild salsa and it smelt a lot like marinara which gave it a great taste but it had no kick to it so I would definitely go with a spicier one. I loved the dumplings and the order includes 10 for around $14. They're so worth it! read more

This was the Free Meh Sunday Market. I am giving four stars because maybe I was almost certainly "off-season" and/or my expectations were off: I thought it was a few blocks long, through a downtown area, with a bunch of food options. But, it was two locations: under a bridge and in a warehouse, and aside from cookies, it was mostly garage sale stuff that holds no interest for me, so it was merely a pleasant distraction or a leisurely stroll through vendors with whom I'd avoid eye contact so I wouldn't have to explain why I don't want to buy a sea shell lamp or a ceramic dog sweater or $12 honey. Still, Fremont is a quirky little city, with shopping, restaurants, bars, and photo ops (like the Center of the Universe, Rocket, topiary dinosaurs, and Fremont Troll) within a 4 block radius, so I recommend it. read more

This had been on my list of places to go, since I moved here recently, my cousin and her daughters were going to be in town, and this is where we started. Lots of great food trucks, all smelling wonderful and tasty, Booths set up with clothing, candles, jewelry, plants, beef jerky... the list goes on. Fun vibe with great music playing.. the whole Fremont district is a blast! Similar to Georgetown, but it's own originality, and quirks. Definitely both are going to visited often. The market is under the bridge during the winter months. Definitely coming back for candles, beef jerky, and more food. This was being marketed as a holiday market and this girl loves little local markets! My partner and I stopped by around 10:30am. Parking wasn't too difficult yet but when we left at 1100, it was getting pretty crowded parking-wise. We walked down to under the bridge which seemed to be a whole 10 degrees colder. There were heat lamps sprinkled throughout the market but you have to be right under it to feel anything. Most of the vendors fell into these categories: food trucks/food items, second hand thrifted things or things purchased from stores and then resold here. There were a couple handmade goods storefronts - candles, enamel pins, jewelry. Overall, I wasn't really too impressed. This would be more of a pit stop rather than a destination. We liked Ballard Farmer's Market more! read more

About 3 or so blocks of vendors line up their tents and are ready to sell you all kinds of things, mostly clothes ranging from vintage t-shirts to 90's embroidered rag hoodies. There is jewelry, things for your pets, sunglasses and much more. There may be room to haggle a bit, but the vendor regulars may not be moved. There are new vendors that show up to try out their products. We spoke to a man who makes his own sauces which tasted great but as expected his and folks similar trying to get their goods out there called for a high price. My partner however scored a great deal on a vintage leather jacket for $10 with only a small tear. The big win of our last visit was joining a CSA that offers very customizable orders by the box along with free organic eggs with every order. So, coming out regularly may reward you with different vendors and even better, maybe some good deals. read more

Sights and shops here include vintage clothes at great prices, vintage other things at frequently steep prices, handmade accessories, crafts, soaps and lotions and potions; food trucks (and not just for humans, as my dog was thrilled to find); and hobbyist artists setting up for a relaxing day of painting. Some very favorites of mine are regulars here: Pure Vintage, which has tons of top-condition finds at very affordable prices, along with loads of Christmas sweaters when it's that season (they're often located under cover, in the parking garage portion of the Market, and they also have a storefront in Tacoma); and Flowers vintage. This is a cute little market in Fremont, but I'm not sure if I'd come again. It seemed like a mixture of small businesses and people selling pre-owned goods like a consignment shop. They also had a bunch of antiques. We picked up some earrings, ice cream, and just walked around. It's not that large, but it was something to do for about an hour. The parking is terrible. Like really, really bad. It is a free market, so you don't need to pay to walk through, but again... not too much going on there. read more

The most amazing Sunday Flea Market I can think of! They have everything vintage clothes, flowers, jewelry, art, and food trucks on the side! My favorite booth is Jamie and her husband, this little friendly lady that sells vintage clothes and she has nothing over $50! It's such a delight to see them there every Sunday, everytime you buy something from her she gives you a free bag - one time it was a Trader Joe's insulated bag that I now use for grocery shopping! And she gives you more discounts if you but more!!! There's also this other lady that sells jewelry and she dumps everything on the table, I got three cocktail rings for $30! I even signed up for her text alert so I'm alerted when she's at the market since she drives all the way from Oregon! read more

LOVE this market. **NOTE: This is NOT a farmers market. I accidentally went here my first time thinking it would be a farmers market, and was confused when I only saw one stand for produce. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a street/flea market though! This market is pretty big! I was overwhelmed by all of the amazing things I saw! There were a lot of local vendors selling a variety of handmade crafts like jewelry, paintings, blankets, clothes, soaps, and more! They especially have a lot of vintage clothes for a decent price. I noticed that most people were gravitating towards those! There's also a few food trucks that sell paella, ice cream, sushi burritos, and more. Overall, love all of the local foods, clothes, and crafts here. Definitely recommend strolling through on a Sunday morning and supporting local artists and business owners! read more

I've been to most of the farmers markets in Seattle and neighboring cities and I think this is by far my favorite! I've tried a bunch of food trucks from this market and they've all been good. I've also purchased several items from various vendors and I still have most of them (e.g. jewelry, accessory box, etc.). Today, we got Mangosteen wings and Mango smoothie from Ba Bar. The wings were sooo good! The mango smoothie was so refreshing, which was perfect since it was warm! Not pictured, but I also got a picnic box! OOOh this was really fun! We wanted to stroll around Fremont area to do some of the touristy things (Ballard locks, the Fremont Troll, etc.) but needed a good snack. I found the Sunday street market and was delighted that they allowed dogs! Well, as soon as we walked in, I saw the edible cookie dough truck. NOM! The animal cracker was the best! We took a jaunt through the market to look at the goods, and purchased a few items. On the way back, we grabbed grilled cheese sandwiches from another food truck. Now super stuffed, we were ready for our walking tour. The only reason I took one star off is for the size of the market. I thought it would have more vendors, but it was a little light on shopping. From the Fremont Troll, my friend and I headed down the hill under the Aurora Bridge and walked toward the Sunday Farmer's Market. It's about a 15 minute walk and the view is pretty nice too. What's great about the Sunday Market is that there are so many local merchants and a vintage market all in one place. Very cool to experience and even bought some great finds! Bought a bouquet as a gift of appreciation for our friend since we were staying with her during our stay in Seattle. For $5, they even allowed us to customize the floral selections! It was beautiful and we found a little ladybug in our bouquet. In the vintage market, I stumbled upon a beautiful 50s mustard colored zipped jacket. It was such a steal for the condition it was in, pretty much like new for $30. There are definitely some really great finds if you seek it. read more

Coming from California, we've gone to our fair share of street and farmers markets and the Fremont Sunday Market was not as impressive as the rest of the reviews make it to be. There was an indoor area that was kind of neat. The outdoor area was pretty short and not much vendors were selling stuff. There were also about 4 food trucks. We weren't hungry but was able to get a piroshky so that we can try the beef and onion one. If you're not into vintage or the phrase "one man's trash is another man's treasure", then you can skip this place. It was not worth the uber all the way here just to spend less than 30 minutes looking at stuff. read more
