Things no on told me about the Packwood flea market: 1…read more There isn't much to be found in terms of antique furniture. 2. If you come early enough to get a good parking spot (I arrived an hour early) don't get a spot right at the edge of the market. You'll be closer to the stalls with good stuff if you go further in to find a parking spot. 3. If you show up an hour early for your parking spot. You'll be twiddling your thumbs for a while because about half of the stalls won't open until a solid hour after the OFFICIAL start time of the flea market. 4. This flea market is ENORMOUS. It practically encompasses the entire town of Packwood. Be prepared to walk a lot if you want to see everything. Some things to bring to make your experience more comfortable: -sunscreen -talc powder and blister-proof socks -water or sportsdrink -energy drink - eyemask and ear plugs for a car nap

Welllllll we went we saw we tried not to touch and we left. The food was much better once we got to…read morethe center of the swap meet. I suggest starting in the middle and working your way out. We started on the outside which consisted of nothing but severely used "goods". I don't suggest it unless you are looking for props for a play or something along those lines. Gag gifts maybe? Not sure. Once we got to the middle though, there were some decent tents and tables. I was shocked at the lack of homemade goods. To every five or six used goods tents/tables there was like one tent with new items or homemade goods. I don't think we'll go back. It was a lot of walking with not a lot of reward. Oh! And bring TP or baby wipes. They only have port-o-potties and we didn't find one all day that had TP in it.

Some friends took us here, and I really enjoyed just how huge this market was! There were so many…read moredifferent types of vendors: food, drinks, clothing, jewelry, arts & crafts, and more! I loved seeing such a wide variety because everyone in our group was able to find something they genuinely enjoyed despite our different tastes lol Personally, I ended up buying a Green Amethyst necklace from Sea Diamonds, a ring from another jewelry vendor, a chain and three charms from a vendor in the indoor section, and even a custom poem from an artist who was creating them on the spot with her typewriter! That was definitely one of the most unique things I came across. As for food, I got to try the Crab Mac & Cheese from Sam's Crab Mac & Cheese and was completely sold after the sample bite (highly recommend!!). I also enjoyed a Mangonada from one of the Mexican food vendors, and the Watermelon Sour Cotton Candy from CottonMouth Confections, which was another standout and definitely worth trying!! Overall, if you want to fully explore everything the market has to offer, I'd recommend setting aside a few hours.

This market was absolutely incredible. They had so many different types of vendors selling…read moredifferent hand made goods and vintage items. There were racks on racks on racks of vintage clothing and a lot of it was priced really well. They had a section in the parking garage that had some vendors with home decor. They had gorgeous antique items. They also had a baggu vendor and I got a Kuromi bag that I hadn't been able to find anywhere else. Truly you could spend hours walking around this market. They had great music playing. It's right next to the water. There are also lots of food options nearby. This was a MAGICAL stop on my recent trip to Seattle.
