What a precious little store. It's absolutely chock full of loving crafted art on an array of products. From cups, shirts, pins, stickers, and beyond. The staff here is so beyond lovely. Truly like little beacons of joy. I loved walking around here and just being absolutely delighted.

I can see why this place has a close to perfect rating. It is a quirky shop with original art and merchandise. This place has a great sense of humor and there's something for everyone. I loved the mounted stuffed animals but opted to purchase a couple of lanyards and a magnet. It was pretty clear that this place loves lgbtq+ folks and I was admiring a rainbow/trans flag robot vs. sloth tote bag. If you are looking for unique Seattle souvenirs at normal prices, this is a great option.

We bought a shirt here while in Seattle at the market area. Nice store with good gifts. Service was fast for a small store. Prices were in line for the area which is touristy. We'd go again.

Super cute store! I love browsing here every time I'm in Pike Place market. It's also a nice place to get a Seattle gift for someone since I don't think have locations outside of Seattle. The stuff is (not surprisingly) a bit pricey, but I like looking around. They do charge $0.08 per bag, so if you don't prefer to pay for bags make sure to mention you don't want one.

I stopped in this little store on a recent trip to Seattle. The store itself was small but we were greeted quickly upon entering. The selection was minimal unless you wanted something specific. I was a little confused by the concept as the stores products appeared to be for children but at the same time could not be interpreted that way. I appreciate that the store is very friendly towards the LGBTQIA community but I'm a little confused as to the concept. That being said we did purchase a couple of lanyards and the staff was very friendly. I feel like the selection could be more diversified and the intent be made a little more clear. Products were a little on the expensive side of things as well.

A lady who loves doodling robots and sloths ended up establishing her own shop full of artistic goods. Very cute items here with her work. T-shirts, magnets, pins, stickers, pocket mirrors. Alongside the robots and sloths there are side characters featured on her merch as well. Her shop also showcases products made by other indie artists. While running around Pike Place shopping for souvenir gifts I ended up getting a couple of items here for myself lol. Really great souvenirs here! Super friendly and helpful staff. Definitely stop by if you're at Pike Place!

And I supported it wholeheartedly despite sometimes finding items slightly cheaper elsewhere. Additionally, as an art educator I always suggested it to my students for their value, as well as excellent and knowledgeable customer service. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed to say both superb customer service and cost value are gone. Firstly, I learned from my students that student discount was no longer available. Then after my last visit, I was stunned how much the prices have increased. Still, I remained a dedicated patron. After coming home I realized one of the expensive wooden panels had a substantial gouge in the corner - simply too noticeable to try fixing. I confidently returned to the store but was told they would not take back the damaged items - because they couldn't verify it was damaged before my purchase. The associate was unbearably rude and dismissive. One my way out I expressed my profound disappointment with the current direction of this trusted business with another associate, only to have the associate I originally spoke with catch up with us. Now they changed their song, saying they could accept the damage item but I was very lucky because it's not something they always do. What?! The associate appeared to be making up policies as they went along. In the end I kept the damaged wooden panel, as I will keeping my business away from this place.

This unique, engaging, and enjoyable event was hosted by Jennifer, Yelp Eastside CM from Issaquah. Our VYEE instructor was Kellie, the enthusiastic and passionate owner of The Works in Seattle (2/11/21). I signed up thinking ahead for something fun to look forward to. After my recent past two weeks, this event was so welcomed! I'm always curious how artists and craftspeople create unique items and are able to establish a vibrant indie business too. I've taken other similar classes that allows for creativity and a timeout from the day-to-day. The vibe that Jennifer and Kellie created during this hour session, and seeing others with their custom, handmade bath bombs...this was a much needed and appreciated this evening. I ordered my kit on 2/8/21 intended to pick it up in person. And of course, life interfered. But the folks at The Works worked their magic, kindly got it in the mail, and I received it day of the event. Lovely packaging. Makes a great gift! Techniques are freely shared and allowed for further creativity with additional tips from Kellie and other Yelp Elites participating. I listened intently, took copious notes, and took screenshots. Inside the Bath Bombs Kit are all the items needed, including an instruction booklet, and video link to watch later for reference. Other items needed and not included are a mixing bowl, fork, 1 Tablespoon measuring spoon, and up to 3T water. After giving this process a whirl, (makes about 4 bath bombs from the kit) the choices and combos one can continue to create are infinite! Add in some creativity, you'll learn a really top notch skill, promote self care, and can give as gifts. Art meets science! Gifts guaranteed to be well received, not become a regifted white elephant, and you don't have to dust it, lol. Supporting The Works is also beneficial to showcasing their business and the artisans they also partner with. The Works Seattle 151 12th Avenue, Seattle WA 98122 theworksseattle.com

I found the employees to be lovely whenever I visited. They sometimes would tell me about an artist if I'm looking at their wares and I love hearing more detail about things but I never felt pressure to buy anything.  Also they sell anything under the sun here from jewelry to vases to clothes to things for kids and babies. Great variety. I found a random darling egg sticker for my friend who loves eggs and my friend found these cool mushroom magnets for her sister who loves mushrooms. See, this store is amazing!  Pacific Place is a shell of its former self. A lot of the stores have closed and it seems like most people who do come here are coming to eat at Din Tai Fung or HaiDiLao but if you're in this mall make sure to stop by the 3rd floor and check it out! Highly recommend it! There's something for everyone. Also can be a fun way to while away some time if you're waiting for your seat in the above restaurants.  Also I just learned they have a website  https://thehandmadeshowroom.com/ so apparently I don't have to be in Seattle to shop their goods!
