KOBO Capitol Hill is tucked away at one end of Broadway on a cute little corner that's easy to miss if you're not looking. They have an AMAZING collection of local and international art, books, and other small finds that make it feel like a new experience every time you visit. They also have virtual art shows featuring new artists every month, offering them platform to show off new work in a time where it might not otherwise happen. Due to Covid, they've taken a lot of precautions for their customers and staff, which I really appreciate. Private shopping sessions can be booked online, and curbside pick up was a really smooth experience!

Some uphill walks but it was a nice walk actually. The museum is free which is nice you walk through and it is pretty much filled with many unique rooms, each with different pieces of art. It was pretty quiet but I do enjoy the placement of every piece. It's not a big museum so this probably won't take up so much time.

It's located on the other side of Meany Hall in the University of Washington campus and has all sorts of cool stuff to check out, like paintings, sculptures, video installations, and performance art. The displays are really thought-provoking and explore a bunch of different themes, so there's always something interesting to think about. The building itself is pretty cool too. It's made of a bunch of different materials like concrete, steel, and glass, and it lets in a ton of natural light. Walking through the galleries is a chill and relaxing experience. Their special exhibit was the "Thick As Mud" which was quite revealing and subjective. Besides the exhibits, the museum also hosts a ton of fun events and workshops.
