For my birthday, we stayed at this hotel after a train trip to Seattle. We were very pleased with our stay for several nights. Our stay was welcoming due to the kind staff at the front desk and in the M club. There was a young gentlemen, unfortunately I did not catch his name, who was very personal- I appreciate his touch- and his welcome. Plus checking on us as we came down the next day after checking in within the lobby. The hotel is located directly across the waterfront. And a short walk to Pike's market which make it a very convenient stay. Without traffic it approximately a ten minute drive to the train station and twenty minutes to the airport. As we are ambassadors with Marriott- we were treated to some excellent rooms. Our first room had wall to wall windows that overlooked the waterfront and the ferris wheel on the 8th floor. A perfect room. When asked if we wanted an even better room, I was hesitative- but we accepted the offer and received another room that had a living room in addition to the bedroom with three balconies. The beds in both rooms were very comfy. Unfortunately in both rooms there were not bath tubs but nice showers. And of course lovely views of the waterfront. We also appreciated the nice welcome gift provided to us that included wine and chocolate. The only negative was that the indoor/outdoor pool was not open during our stay. The pool is an indoor-outdoor pool that overlooks the waterfront. Also we we wished the breakfast had better food options. We did enjoy the sweets in the M club though.

Really good drinks! Little pricey though.

The hotel is great, but dang... the little bar/restaurant called HOOK & PLOW that they have in the first floor had THE BEST FOOD MY GIRLFRIEND AND I HAVE EVER HAD IN WASHINGTON... it was that good, folks. The pizza was THE BEST WE'VE HAD. Also, the fish & chips were SO GOOD. Bartender and waiter were really nice too!

Went to a visit to Seattle before and after my cruise to Alaska. This is a convenient location because it's right next to one of the cruise ship ports. A quick walk across the street and you're in the middle of all the action ! Pike place, the aquarium, gum wall all within walking distance from the hotel. There is no hotel parking though. You will only have to valet if you drive here. The staff is amazing so you feel safe in this hotel. Also the bedding is sooo comfy. As with all Marriott properties. Can't wait to stay here again.

It deservedly earns a 5 star review. This hotel is across the street from Pier 66. I couldn't have asked for a better location. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. I know people complain about having to walk up hills from this location. I get it. Just be aware that there are a couple of different routes you can take with stairs and elevators that make that upward incline bearable. There's one at the Bell Street Bridge, and another one at Waterfront Park. We checked into the hotel around 1pm with a check-in time of 4pm. The room was actually ready for us. Can you believe that? They do charge a destination fee which includes a $20 discount toward hotel resraurants and a box of local chocolates from Maeve of Seattle. It pays for itself. Our corner waterfront king room was spacious & clean. I could tell that it was recently renovated. I'm glad I didn't judge a book by its cover on this one. The exterior of the hotel looks very old. On a brighter note, they do have M Club access for platinum elite and above. I think you can pay for access as well. We woke up to a great view of the Norwegian Bliss cruise ship. Not so shabby for a pre-cruise stay. Our buffet breakfast at Hook & Plow was a great experience as well. Walking to the cruise terminal to board the cruise ship was so easy. Everything worked out perfectly. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

We stayed here the night before leaving on our Alaskan cruise. It was the PERFECT location. Walk out the front door & right across the street to the pier. No need for additional cab rides or transfers. Just sleep on and cross the street when you're ready. Besides location, the hotel room was nice, great views of the waterfront, comfortable bed with nice linens, and a large bathroom. All very clean. We also received a nice welcome gift, a box shaped like a cruise ship with local chocolates. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area. 2025-33

Wasn't sure what to expect from reading other reviews. We had a great stay. Room was clean, had a great waterfront view. The lounge was stocked with water, coffee, sodas. We didn't visit for happy hour but did see wine and beer in the coolers. Centrally located to walk the city. A few blocks from great restaurants and the market.

Pike Place Market, a few minutes walk from hotel

This hotel was... fine. Excellent valet experience every time; front desk personnel, however, were not particularly friendly or welcoming-- often seemed irritated when approached with questions. If you don't have access to the M Lounge, there is no complimentary coffee downstairs, which was a disappointment considering the price of this hotel. Fabulous location, very walkable to the key tourist destinations in downtown and shopping. Nice view of the water and ferris wheel.

This location alone gets a 6 out of 5! With the new pedestrian walkway and revamped Alaska Way, this hotel is now a prime spot to visit the Seattle Waterfront and Pike Place. From check-in, the valet staff were super friendly and kind. Since I am a Bonvoy Elite member, I was upgraded to a balcony water view room from the standard room I had booked. There is a resort fee, but that includes two tickets to the Wings over Washington experience at Miner's landing. These tickets were easily worth the cost of the resort fee. Plus you get a dining credit as well, but we didn't use that as we went out to dinner in town. The M Lounge is very nice and well stocked with sodas, a fancy coffee machine, and evening snacks. We got there just as things were wrapping up, but the staff inside were able to find us a couple pieces of dessert to enjoy with some coffee. The hotel has been remodeled since the last time we were here. Rooms are sleek and modern, and the bathroom was upgraded with a large walk in shower with glass door. Thank you for the bottles of water and welcome chocolates! Absolutely loved our time here at the hotel. No doubt, we'll be back again to enjoy more time at the Seattle waterfront area.

Stayed here the night before our Alaskan Cruise. Place was conveniently located right across the street from where we were to board the ship. A little pricey but that is what you have to pay for the location convenience.

I absolutely love this Mariott. My friend and I booked online through the Convoy app, and when we arrived we checked in easily. They took my card information for an authorization hold for any incidentals, and they cancel the charge after your stay is complete. They gave us a sheet with all amenities they had to offer as well as a box of chocolates! The room itself was clean and spacious, and the air conditioning worked well. This hotel has a valet service, even if you get a car service, they open the car door for you on leaving, and welcome you back upon entry. The location is great, right on the water, and close to both Pike Place near the boardwalk and the Market place just a block behind it. It is a bit of a drive from the airport, but that is how Seattle is. I will absolutely return next time I'm visiting! Checkout process was also easy, my car to the airport was already downstairs and I just gave her my key cards and I was good to go.

I chose this hotel for the night before a cruise and it was perfect! The check-in was quick and they even gave me a little box of chocolates. Although I had already reserved a partial waterfront, I asked if they had any full water fronts available and they didn't. I was happy with my view though. It was a straight on view of the water, but pushed back a little, so you couldn't see as much of the water as if you were in another room further out. I do wish there was a chair on the balcony, though, but I just pulled my own chair out there! I also brought a glass of wine up from the lobby bar to enjoy sitting out there. There were a lot of people hanging out in the lobby with luggage. Probably waiting for their cruise or waiting to check in after the cruise. It's a really good location and they have an elevator so you can get to the level of Pike Place without walking uphill. My room was nice and quiet, but I didn't love the bathroom light. It came on at full brightness whenever you walked in in the middle of the night, which was very jarring. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you're going on a cruise. I woke up early and saw my cruise ship coming in.

The Marriott Seattle Waterfront is perfectly located within walking distance of the best Seattle has to offer and just a quick shuttle ride to the cruise ship terminal. The rooms are spotless, the beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the waterfront views are absolutely spectacular. The M Club provides a nice afternoon hors d'oeuvre spread, and the buffet at Hook & Plow was a very pleasant surprise--delicious and plentiful. A great choice for both convenience and comfort!

Tips/note to self: - Check in on the app at least two hours before you arrive (not in the Lyft from the airport...) - When you check in, get two bottles of water, hotel welcome gift = box of chocolates, two Wings over Washington tickets (valid for 1 year) - Room 612 - train isn't too loud, but the a/c fan is loud; turn it off before bed - Get the 2 Queen room so you can use two comforters - Bring your own nice toilet paper and flushable wet wipes because the room's toilet paper is horrendous 1-ply and the hotel market doesn't sell them - Bring your own Aloha protein bars and single-serving collagen packets because the hotel market doesn't sell them - Bring your own shampoo/conditioner or at least dry shampoo; the stuff they provide leaves you nappy - Google Maps walking directions aren't great around here, there may be a faster way since Google Maps can't see the elevators on both sides of the block that go up to the other street (you can ask the front desk what the fastest way to walk somewhere is) - For breakfast, the fastest way is to order when you get seated and the check ASAP, all the breakfast omelets can be made with egg whites and you can sub fruit or any other sides for the potatoes. The omelets are really oily though, and the potatoes are super fried - The gym is basic, no Peloton but there are three treadmills. There's a fridge with water, apples, and gym towels when you enter

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. The lack of the little niceties that are standard everywhere else aren't here. The least they could have done was provide quality customer service and not by someone who seems like they would be better off employed in a funeral home. Pros, view and location Cons, pretty much everything else.

It is a very convenient location, just minutes away from the Seattle Farmer's Market and near to Chinatown. While we had access to early check in with our credit card, our room type (suite) was not ready yet and actually ended up not being ready until around 4:00 P.M. (regular check in time) so we did have to drop off our luggage and decided to walk around. When we came back and our room was ready, my husband did call down and mentioned it was our anniversary since they had confirmed in previously but we didn't see anything in the room, and they were very kind to bring up a little treat for us including some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. The room itself was spacious and clean with a great view of the city (we had a corner view). The bath tub had a fun feature (water to fill the tub came from a ceiling faucet rather than attached to the tub. The towels were large and fluffy and overall ambience was relaxing with a couch in the room. Check out was smooth and they had our bill ready and everything was easy/correct so we did not have to worry. We also did have late check out, which was pleasant as we could have a leisurely morning. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The main issues I had were as follows: - A lot of the "extra perks" disappeared. When I checked in last time, I was greeted warmly and gifted a glass of champagne. I don't expect that exact thing every time, but when staying at a premium hotel like this, little things really make the experience a lot more enjoyable. It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. I'm not sure what changed, but I could hear noises from other units and from the street much more loudly this time. - On noise, the AC unit in my room this time was much noisier as well. Generally speaking, I still think this is a great hotel, but I had a disappointing experience this time vs my prior stay. I will give it another shot next time, but with caution.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch.
