I took my partner to this establishment for her birthday weekend and it was a sublime experience overall from the initial moment we arrived we were greeted warmly by a staff member and we were taken care of so well that I fell asleep shortly into the treatment due to how soothing and pleasant the experience was. The staff even surprised my partner with a lovely flower bouquet for her birthday due to them remembering that I mentioned during my phone consultation that we were going to come in for her birthday and it was amazingly considerate and thoughtful of them. We took a combo of headspa and 30min body massage. For the price it was a good experience.. however the body massage is actually just a back massage which is pretty relaxing though. Head spa was interesting it's more like mild head massage with fancy hair wash and blow dry. Typically for hair spa I was expecting more head massage and deep conditioning treatment but this isn't that. For the price it's definitely not bad but I would recommend getting an appointment and also specifying if you prefer a male/female therapist ahead of time for your treatment as they have both. read more

We had a 90 minute service. 30 minute upper body massage and 60 minute head spa service. The body massage was amazing. If you have back issues or shoulder issues-this is the place. The head spa was relaxing. My only complaint is that I wish the would have scrubbed/washed my hair a little more, like when you to to the salon. But, it was a very relaxing experience. Plus my hair felt amazing afterwards. They dry your hair and have a variety of hair products to use if needed when you are done. Salon was clean. Staff were amazing. read more

Tried out Seattle Head Spa last weekend and I'm so glad I did. I booked the 60 minute head treatment and added a 30-minute body massage because, well, why not go all in? It was super easy to book an appointment, and they had a good amount of availability but I'd still recommend booking in advance because there were quite a few other clients coming and going while I was there. I had Lisa and she was amazing. She worked out all the knots in my upper shoulders and back like a pro. I also added cupping to help with some extra tension (highly recommend ). Lisa has a real talent for deep tissue, definitely going back just to get a full body massage from her next time. The head spa part was just as dreamy. The body massage was on the first floor, and then I went downstairs for the head treatment. I got a warm eye mask, a scalp massage that included my décolletage and shoulders (possibly some Gua Sha in there too), and left feeling like a new person. My hair was squeaky clean, so soft, and smelled amazing. Only downside....it's an open concept space, so you'll hear the happenings of others around, but honestly, that didn't take away from the experience at all. Please do not be fooled by this spa. It's nothing compared to the other head spas that I have been to. There was no microscope scanning for evaluation of the scalp, there was no special shampoo nor conditioning used, not to mention having any treatment for scalp. As much as both people work there are friendly, the experience did not deserve the price I paid for. I would not recommend this business for anyone that actually looking for scalp care. P.S. I came here with my mom and sister as we had gifted this to my mom for her birthday. I will start by saying that the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, but the experience that we each had was very different, which made the business seem unprofessional. I have curly hair (3C curls), which I understand can be difficult for some people. The lady that did my head spa spent half of the entire hour trying to detangle my hair (emphasis on trying because she did not seem to know what she was doing) which was not very relaxing at all. She did not use any conditioner, which would have helped the process. I left with my hair very tangled and it was clear that the staff did not know how to properly use a diffuser. When my sister, mom and I all spoke about our experiences, it seems as though they all varied. I was not given something to cover my eyes, nor was my hair conditioned, only shampooed twice. My mom also said that her head was lifted up by her ear holes, which was uncomfortable. My sister's technician seemed to be the best, and explained every step of what she was doing. Something that my mom and I did not get. The ambiance of the place could use some improving as well. It is down in a basement and cramped. It did not feel very clean. I will not be returning again, nor would recommend to a friend. read more

Staff is friendly and helpful, and I was immediately serviced even though I was 20 minutes early. I felt comfortable and safe the moment I walked in. I chose the 2 hour vacation package for $165 and was more than happy with what I received for the low price. My massage consisted of reflexology, hot stone, shiatsu, and trigger point. It put me in a meditative state (at some point two police cars drove by and a helicopter flew overhead and I was too relaxed I barely noticed, honestly the world could have collapsed outside and I still would have been a bag of sand on that massage table) Second, I had a long relaxing head spa at the end of my visit, with a full hair wash and dry (with a Dyson air wrap) and a very relaxing shoulder and scalp message. It was divine. The ambiance is a little cramped, but for the price and the quality service I would definitely say you are getting a great deal, 100% recommending this place! read more

The massage and head spa combo left us grinning, very relaxed, and surprised at how soft our hair was. 30 minute massage then to the headspa area for scalp massage, water massage of scalp and neck, hair treatment, hair drying while still laying down, and wrapped up with a back rub. My forehead just started peeling from a sunburn. She treated the sunburn. It hasn't peeled since, and the skin looks moisturized. The ladies are so kind and thorough. My hair is still soft. My scalp feels great. And the whole experience was relaxing. This is well worth the drive into Seattle (we are far outside Seattle), and we will definitely be back. read more

Ok, this was my first experience with a head spa. They told me I was getting a discount bc I live in the area, ok that's a nice plus. They were VERY kind. So, here's the thing, as a woman I am on high alert at all times. I walked in and was greeted and taken downstairs right away... downstairs? Yes, to a basement area lit up by fluorescent lighting. At that moment I was a little concerned, nothing good comes from walking down a set of stairs into a basement of a business... I was put into a "room" closed with curtains. Asked to undress the top part and get in the bed. My heart was racing a little. The room was not comfortable at all. It was bright, and had some splatter of something on the walls. Once they started I was trying to relax. There was no one else in the building. It was hard to do so bc it just didn't feel right. It felt off. The actual head massage was good. The woman did a really good job on massaging my neck and head. I had been suffering from a headache all weekend, so this felt nice. The water temperature was nice. The massage pressure was great. She kept checking in which was nice and comforting. I wasn't a big fan about the washing, she did it twice and then I think there was a conditioner used? I was a little concerned about the scalp tools that were used. Have they been sanitized? I didn't see any barbicide when I got up, so that was disappointing. Once I was done I was directed to the blow drying chair. I declined a blow dry bc I didn't want someone else's brush on my head, I had already had scalp brushes on me. I was kinda grossed out. As a licensed cosmetologist I don't trust that these things are being cleaned properly, and I was right. The brush at the drying area had hair in it. No thanks! The products used were nothing I write home about, basic grocery store products. I am pretty shocked no one else in the reviews talked about any of these things OR the weird stairs down to the basement. I guess I had a higher expectation for this service. Nice women, unfortunately I will not go back, and now I will do my own scalp treatment at home to make sure I don't get anything on my head from used brushes. read more
