Had the best birthday party ever!!! The boat accommodated 26 of us comfortably, there's a lot of areas to chill- the front, back, inside and the roof! Captain Jerry and his wife are great hosts and they made us have an awesome time! He also helped us get some of our stuff on the boat and showed us some really good spots while sailing. Do this for your next party! We had 20 people and it was plenty of space for dancing on the roof or deck. There are legal limits on capacity so make sure your head count is correct. Lots of room inside the galley to serve food, great party sized Bluetooth speaker, plenty of room for up to 26 guests on the front, back, and upper deck of the boat. Most ideal would be on a hot day warm enough to drop anchor and swim, but had a fun time even on a chillier evening. Not the fanciest boat, but has everything you need and ample space for a fun time! Seems pricey, although you get plenty of time on the water and is competitive with similar market options. Best value if you get all 26 spots filled. This was one of the greatest birthdays I've ever thrown in my entire life!! Do not walk, but RUN to book this boat. It's not your boujee super expensive boat, and it's definitely seen it's fair share of parties so don't expect it to be some immaculate boat but it is a very fair price!! But in my opinion it made it better because there were no major rules except basic safety and common sense of course! Just know you can have 26 ppl total and it's max 10 on the top deck so the group may be separated for some times of the night. We did the evening cruise from 6-11pm and it was soo beautiful! Passed Gas Works and the beautiful Skyline and parked it farther so we could bump the music and party! Captain Jerry and his daughter gave me and my friends the space and privacy to party, dance, jump off the boat, swim, and just turn up! If you're not uptight and not afraid to get a little down and dirty then this is the boat for you! Im seriously considering making it a yearly thing and all my friends agree fursure. Huge thanks to Captain Rick and BJ for making my 23rd birthday bash a huge success!!! We had a group of about 15 friends come on board the boat and it was a non stop party from start to finish. The crew was super accommodating and a blast to have join in on the festivities! The boat was very clean, a great size (wrap around balcony and top tier deck to lay out, hang out and have an awesome view) and the rental process was super easy! We cruised around Lake Union & Lake Washington stopping at different points to dip in the water and grill. The crew was so sweet to even let us stay on and cruise for another hour! It was the perfect way to celebrate with good friends, they can't stop raving about how much of a great time it was. The best party boat rental hands down! Definitely recommend Seattle Fun Boat to anyone looking for a great time, reasonable pricing and awesome customer service. You won't be disappointed. We rented the boat for a going away party (23 people) and it couldn't have been better! They let us bring our own food and drink on board, swim in Lake Washington, and have an amazing party. Such an easy process to book this last minute boat trip with 27 of my friends for the July 4th weekend. I called, spoke to who I believe was Jerry's wife and reserved the date with a $200 deposit. The final balance was due day of. We had so much fun!!! We were allowed to dress up the captain in literally anything we wanted. We could bring our own booze and food!!! At night we had an epic dance party inside and during the day we were all chilling around the hot tub. Some of us even jumped from the top of the boat into the water. I have so many photos and memories. This is something everyone enjoyed and I would do once a year for sure!!!! read more

My husband Ryan rented this boat a few weeks ago and we had a wonderful time! It's the most fun I've ever had on a boat. You get to see some great Seattle sights and have a blast at the same time. And bonus: Captain Jerry will wear any costume you provide for him--no matter how ridiculous! There is also a speaker for music, a grill, a fridge, etc. so you can bring food and drinks. He also stops for a short time so people can jump in the water and swim around for a little bit if they choose. Our whole group had a really great time, and the captain and crew are really nice, affable people. Highly recommended. Choose this boat!! The only reason he doesn't have more reviews is likely because there's nothing to complain about, so no one thinks to log on! read more

Boat was great but the crew involved themselves in the group when they were not invited to do so. Made it a bad experience and some didn't participate in activities because the crew inserted themselves. They also kept people involved in stories they wanted to tell when we were there to spend time with each other - not the crew. Inappropriate but an easy fix for the crew - if you mention it when you book you'll likely have a great time. read more

Captain Jerry and his boat are amazing! He was very easy to talk to on the phone and accommodated all of our group's needs in preparation for the trip. When we arrived to the boat he made sure everyone was safe and settled in before taking off. We took what seemed to be the most scenic route around lake Washington, stopped for a swim, bumped music, had drinks and enjoyed the sunshine and sunset. It was pretty fantastic. We threw a surprise 30th birthday party for our friend and choose Seattle Fun Boat for the location. Boy we're we happy we did. Captain Jerry and his 1st mate were easy-going, fun hosts. The boat was spacious enough for 25-30 of us (the boat is a little old, but this is actually a good thing because the host isn't walking around pointing around minor things you need to watch out for and protecting every last inch). Definitely meant to be a party boat. We had a keg on board, coolers full of beer, hard alcohol, food and snacks. He allows smoking as long as it's outside. There is a cabin full of costumes which you're happy to use (a few of us used a wide variety of them) and captain Jerry will help start things off by coming out in his own costume. Their music setup worked perfectly along with the lighting; all you need is an iPod or phone with music. All of us throughly enjoyed this ride and would definitely do it again. 4 of us stripped down to underwear and jumped into Lake Union. This was around 9-10pm in October! If you're looking for a fun time on a party boat in Seattle, I'm not sure you're going to find one more easy going and memorable than this one. Definitively give it a try. read more
