I'M ON A BOAT!!! Some very wonderful friends booked Anchor Bay Charters' "Seeker" yacht as the venue for a pre-wedding coed bash back in July. Everybody had a fantastic time and it will undoubtedly be a fond memory for everyone that was lucky enough to be there that night. The yacht is in tip-top shape and there was plenty of room for our party (I'm guessing we had about 40 people). I don't know the proper nautical terms, but there is room to sit, stand or dance on the top, in the main cabin and on the front of the deck. There is also a kitchen with fridge, sink and a nice amount of counter space in the cabin. There are bathrooms and bedrooms on the lower level. The two crew members did a great job. They were friendly and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. In addition to steering the boat, they chatted with guests and helped clean up trash/recycling along the way. I wish I could remember their names! The tour took about four hours. We started in Ballard/Fisherman's Terminal, went through Lake Union to Lake Washington, and then further out (Kirkland?) before turning back. The views were splendid, the ride was smooth, and it really was a great time on the water. A couple things to note: -- Parking near the docks is a bit tricky. Be sure you aren't parked in a spot that will get you towed! -- No smoking. This drew some complaints from the crowd, but boo hoo, you can't smoke while onboard a luxurious vessel. -- Whatever comes on the boat must come off the boat -- including trash and decorations! Make sure at least one person is responsible/sober enough at the end of the trip to haul everything off. The crew helped us but ultimately it's your responsibility. -- My friends brought their own food but on the Anchor Bay website it looks like they can arrange for catering. My experience onboard the "Seeker" was some of the most fun I've ever had on -- or off -- a boat. I highly recommend this as a venue if you'd like to plan something different and fun for a party or gathering. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7yfISlGLNU

We've been on the Seeker twice, and both times it's a wonderful experience. Kelvin is great to work with, and he gives you a wonderful tour of the homes in Lake Washington and Meydenbauer Bay. Can't wait to go on another cruise.

We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. But that just gives me an excuse to book again. :) 10/10 do recommend checking them out if you haven't, it's the perfect day out!

The water temperature was just right, and the rose petals and Epsom salt add-on completely elevated the vibe felt luxurious, relaxing, and intentional in all the best ways. You can really tell care was put into creating an experience, not just a service. Ashley was amazing so gracious, accommodating, and welcoming, even though our entire group arrived late (which we really appreciated!). She made us feel taken care of from the moment we arrived and throughout the entire experience. 10/10 across the board--we would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something unique, relaxing, and special. We'll definitely be back!

Clients are pampered, fed three gourmet meals each day, and taken on beautiful excursions. We saw an abundance of whales, dall porpoises, sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions, bald eagles, deer, and bears. Fishing was a delightful success(we shipped 43 pounds of salmon and halibut home). After our cruise, we explored Alaska by land, and although still scenic, the whole land experience was anticlimactic. Any future visits we make to Alaska will center on this kind of cruise, and I can't imagine anyone doing it better than Viaggio Luxury. Floyd Hale

Only 6 guests allowed, so the boat is quiet and not over crowded. Only 2-3 crew members who take care of everything and with a smile. They emphasize making the trip as stress-free as possible-and it was. Spacious boat, nice, clean rooms, delicious food, friendly crew. Watch and learn from the chef (who will cater to your likes/dislikes, food allergies and preferences), hang out in the wheelhouse and talk with the captain while looking for wildlife, and drive the boat. Great for all ages-fellow travelers ranged from teen to senior. Lots to do on the boat like movies and local books and plenty more off the boat- kayaking, whaler for easier sight-seeing, 27' sport boat so we could fish as often as we wanted (fishing licenses included-so one less thing we had to deal with). Caught crab and fish and had it for our meals the same day and beyond! We even had some to take home. We saw so much wildlife and other special sites without the cost of extra excursion fares. We rarely saw other boats (besides fishermen) so we were out in Alaska's natural element to take in the scenery with privacy-no big cruise ships or 1000s of people-just a small boat and nature. We were able to get close to wildlife without disturbing them or they followed our boat for up-close and personal experiences-from whales to porpoises, bears to porcupines. You spend a lot of time at sea but in a good way-taking in the surroundings you normally wouldn't see with other tours (large cruises) or traveling on your own. But you can make stops in town for a night depending on what tour you book. With never being on a private charter tour before, we really didn't know what to expect, but we were blown away with the experience and being spoiled. PS - They were great about getting back to us when we had additional questions before booking the trip. Also, they will work to pick you up at your hotel or airport.
