Years later and I'm back with a five star update! So the rating didn't change but I felt the need to show them love again. We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. But that just gives me an excuse to book again. :) 10/10 do recommend checking them out if you haven't, it's the perfect day out! read more

We had an absolutely incredible hot tub boat experience yesterday--truly perfect from beginning to end. Every detail was thoughtfully executed and made for such a memorable time. The water temperature was just right, and the rose petals and Epsom salt add-on completely elevated the vibe felt luxurious, relaxing, and intentional in all the best ways. You can really tell care was put into creating an experience, not just a service. Ashley was amazing so gracious, accommodating, and welcoming, even though our entire group arrived late (which we really appreciated!). They quickly rescheduled us for free, and when we arrived, they even provided complimentary Epsom salt as an added gesture for the inconvenience. They truly think of everything! You get free towels, a variety of shampoo, body wash, and lotion options, free water on the boat, a Bluetooth speaker, a changing room, and lockers for your belongings. The boat was easy to control with a joystick and had plenty of space for six people. There's also a great area at the back of the boat for food, drinks, or just lounging. From the very beginning when we showed up and were greeted with a kind smile, to the end when we got to chat more with one of the managers and enjoyed the outdoor shower and complementary towels, we couldn't have asked for a better team outing. The amenities included free water, a choice to add on snacks or drinks, a Bluetooth speaker to play music of our choice throughout the cruise, and of course the opportunity to see some of Seattle's famous landmarks, including the Sleepless in Seattle House, the Space Needle, and Gas Works Park. The hot tub boats was such a fun experience!!! Our group had six people and one person got to steer and navigate the boat out into the lake. The worker gave us safety instructions and it was easy to drive the boat around. The workers didn't have to come with us on the boat so it was super fun and intimate. This has to be the most fun I've had on Lake Union. if you love hanging out with good company and hot tubs, this experience is for you. We went on a Monday afternoon, and there was no one else out on the lake except for the sea planes. The hot tub was huge. The temperature was perfect, and the before, and after accommodations were everything we needed. We could leave our valuables and clothing on and take food, drinks, and our phones on the boat. They have a waterproof lock box for your phone and an area within the boat to keep all your food and miscellaneous items. There were six of us on the boat, and I found it quite spacious. What a unique adventure! We decided to rent two boats without really knowing what to expect. When we arrived, the staff at the door greeted us warmly, although they seemed a bit disorganized and not very knowledgeable about certain things. LOVED our nighttime boat experience! It was a lot more luxurious than expected! The tub was the perfect temperature, and the speaker system was great, and the tub lit up which was also cool! The 4 of us booked Hot Tub Boats during Labor Day Monday morning. The water was calm as it's within the Union Lake, there's a very simple joystick to maneuver the hot boat and off we go after some simple instructions and check-in. You can leave the items don't need at their changing area, or you can take it with you as they do provide couple of waterproof lockbox. They gave us small cooler with water and it also has a Bluetooth speaker for your favorite playlist. You are also welcome to bring drinks and food. The temperature in the hot tub is about 100-103F, and the water is fresh for each customer. It actually felt a bit warmer towards the end of the 2 hours. It was a nice way to relax and we got lots of great pictures with wonderful views. The hot tub only goes about 5 miles an hour. When we returned there's an outdoor shower with soap and shampoo if needed. This was definitely a very memorable and unique experience for us while exploring the town of Seattle. The staff is awesome! I had to reschedule a couple times due to illness, and they were so accommodating! Very responsive, any time I called or emailed they quickly responded. Fast forward to the day of, upon arrival it was a quick and easy process between walking through the door and entering the boat. Very clean, well-organized facilities. Secure lockers for your belongs, dry box for your phones (at least 5 phones would fit easily), a large JBL Bluetooth speaker, and complimentary waters. The boat itself was very comfortable, with a couple compartments for bags. We brought food with us, that we kept on the deck, with plenty of room to move around. There were only 3 of us in the boat, I probably would recommend 4 ppl max for maximum comfort and ease of moving around the boat. One thing that stops me from giving that 5th star, is that I didn't feel like the water stayed hot the entire time, by the time we got back, it felt more like bath water vs a hot tub. Upon return, they literally thought of everything! Nice hot showers, with tons of soaps to choose from, warm changing rooms, and plastic bags for wet swimsuits. We read about this place recently after a friend partook in the hot tub boat action! At first glance, it seems like they simply put two words that are likable together. Something like Christmas hug or Birthday fireworks. Either way, this place is legit! It is literally a boat with a hot tub in it and you get to float around at about 5 mph in Lake Washington.They do a great job of instructing you on how to drive it, though it's not super difficult as it's just a joystick, and also set the temperature of the water to whatever you would like it to be at. Word to the wise, if you set it at 103, it will stay there the entire time and I can get your legs pretty well done! Are used to hot tubs to get progressively cooler as we stay in them, but that was not the case with the hot tub boat. In addition, we did this in February and it was about perfect as it was cool outside, and the water felt really nice. I can imagine that this in the summer would be a bit on the hot side or, at a minute, you'd want to turn the temp down. The definitely don't give this away, but its a fun experience and for a group of folks the cost comes down to what you'd expect. The rentals last for about two hours, and truthfully that was about the longest we wanted to spend in there. It was also just about the right amount of time to get to see most of the lake, as you are confined to the lake between the Fremont Bridge and the I 90 bridge. If we had to do again, we definitely would have had the water put down a little bit, like 100° rather than 103°. Overall though, this was an absolutely perfect way to spend on Monday morning. We got there at nine, puttered around the lake until 11 and we're on our way after grabbing a quick bite to eat. It was legit, and definitely something you should check out! read more

If you're ever in Seattle, it is a must! It was a fantastic experience with friends! If you have a birthday celebration they give the flavor Epson salt for free. They also have options to add rose petals for $$. When you check in, they do have some snacks like cheese, meats, and crackers. If you do bring a bag with you, just keep in mind that they have storage but it may get wet. They do provide a wet box, but it's not very big it can fit a few phones. They also provide a cooler with water and a speaker! Before you take off on the boat they do have lockers you can store big things such as towels and your dry clothes. They do advise you to be in your bathing suits before you arrive because it does cut into your "boat time" if you have to change at the place. The boat: it's controlled by a joy stick so anyone can drive it. It's pretty slow so it can really go like 5mph? I would advise to go all the way down the lake to have a great view! read more

We did a rental for my birthday in October and had an amazing time. The employee helping us was great and even threw in some extras like additional rose petals and chocolates, which made my birthday even more special. I highly recommend going at night--it was so relaxing to soak with views of the beautiful Seattle skyline all lit up. Very cool and unique experience getting to ride around Lake Union in a hot tub boat! This isn't a boat with a hot tub, this is a hot tub that also happens to be a boat! You get to navigate the boat but the controls are a little clunky and the boat is slow but very stable. You're welcome (and encouraged) to bring whatever food you want which is super cool, just no alcohol. You get a great shot of the Seattle skyline as well as some of the other noteworthy lakeside sights. They even supply you with plenty of water bottles so it was a really great experience. Heated water inside makes it more fun though! We got the boat for 2 hours, went around SLU and Fremont- they add a map and emergency number if you need help. You would think the pouring rain would dampen our experience (pun intended) but we had such a blast! Sadly I did not get a picture of our experience but the hot tubs come at a warm 104 degrees, so they're great even if the weather isn't. The service of the staff was phenomenal, they were all kind and attentive. When you get back, they have a warm shower with just about every shampoo/soap combo imaginable. I recently had a 5-star experience with Seattle Hot Tub Boats. The check-in spot is right off South Lake Union and has a small bathroom and changing area. There's also cubbies for keeping things you don't want to bring on the boat with you. The hot tub boat itself can support up to 6 people, and there's a storage area and cooler if you want to bring stuff with you on the boat. Anyone can drive the boat! Travis gave us great instructions, and afterwards, we were off. It's so cool to be able to ride around Lake Union in a hot tub! Prepared to have your picture taken by tourists (there's lots of Ride the Ducks) though, since it's white the sight to see. You have the option to add epsom salt to the bath for an additional charge, which my group took advantage of. We got the chamomile one, and it was super relaxing. After the ride, there's an outdoor shower (no curtains, just on the dock) where you can rinse off before you change and are on your way. There's a changing area and lockers for your valuables (or take them in a waterproof lockbox). Simple instructions and off you go. The water in the hot tub is fresh for each customer. Good news for germaphobes. Lovely and hot, and it stays hot for the 2 hour ride. (It literately heats as you go). There is a simple controller for forward and turning. Maneuvering around was super easy and you can get up to a few knots. Plenty fast enough. The lake is large enough you can easily take your time and go all the way around with a little time to spare too. There were 4 of us, you can take up to 6 which I think is sensible. The views of downtown are great. The 2 hour trip very memorable and we would highly recommend doing this if your from out of town. A lot of fun. Everyone is super friendly. They thought of everything- bath salts in the water, floating Bluetooth speakers, places for your dry goods, safety instructions were concise and we were out on the water in no time.
