My husband is a huge Sleepless in Seattle fan and the highlight of the evening was passing the floating house. The food was amazing. Everything was farm to fork fresh and prepared by a chef onboard. I highly recommend the crab cakes and homemade bourbon ice-cream. The pace of the evening was lovely, it didn't feel rushed or lagging. You could tell Mark worked hard to make sure that our experience from the moment we stepped aboard was seamless. He thought of everything, even providing a cozy blanket when the wind became a little chilly towards the end of the night. I cannot recommend Enchantress Cruises enough! The boat was in great shape and the water temperature was perfect. It was a very relaxing and memorable experience for my anniversary. Ashley got us set up and went above and beyond to make it awesome! My only recommendation is to bring a hand towel to help with using your phone, and don't eat much before if you get seasick since the water can get choppy at times.

Checking in was easy, convenient, and very easy to locate. Plus, all the information on their website was perfectly clear. There were absolutely no hassles, no stress, and nothing to worry about--we could just sit back and enjoy ourselves.The service was top-notch, and I am so grateful for the captain and the amazing crew! They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and just very nice people. If you are a local, you don't even need a tour guide; this is the perfect way to get some peace and quiet, listen to the waves, feel the boat rocking, and enjoy the sun, wind, and nature. It is a wonderful way to de-stress.Logistics tip: We took the light rail, walked down from Pike Place Market, and grabbed some food to bring and eat on the boat. For convenience, there is a restroom at the dock office and two right on the boat. They also have some great souvenirs downstairs by the boat restrooms. Seattle's Tall Ship is perfect 2 hour activity for anyone looking for a relaxed way to sail around…read morethe Puget Sound. I booked a 4:30 PM tour for 2. Pricing was reasonable at $59 per person. There are some differences in their price tiers dependent on the time and type of sailing. Prices can range between $39-$79. Their email notifications are thorough and provided recommendations on parking, things to bring, and what to expect onboard. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, and mimosas are available for purchase onboard the ship. The check-in tent is located by Anthony's on Pier 66. Boarding started at around 10 minutes before departure and crew members walked us down to the marina. The ship is an 85 foot long schooner named Bay Lady and features an 87 foot mast and bench seating with backrests. This ship also has a cannon which they did fire while out on Puget Sound. The tour was 2 hours and unnarrated and bar service immediately started as soon as we cleared the marina. About 30 minutes into the voyage, crew members asked for volunteers to hoist the sails. Overall, I highly recommend this experience. The crew were attentive and consistently checked-in on our group.

There is room for for 6 adults in one boat, how we husband and I both noted it would have been as comfortable with two more people (we only had 4 in our party). 4 adults allows you to stretch out comfortably so nobody is impeding on another's personal space. We went 8-10pm and that was amazing because we had lots of daylight and then a gorgeous sunset decide floating back in, in the dark. The boats have blue light strips and that looks nice at nice! We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. But that just gives me an excuse to book again. :) 10/10 do recommend checking them out if you haven't, it's the perfect day out!

We were also lucky enough to have Captain Andy on board. If you get Captain Andy, you'll know immediately. The first time you see his mustache, you're going to have an overwhelming urge to address him as "Sir." That mustache has command presence. Beyond the legendary mustache, Captain Andy was incredible. He personalized the experience, shared his knowledge of the area, and somehow made us feel like we were the only people on board. It never felt like a canned tour. It felt like we were out exploring Seattle and the Salish Sea with someone who genuinely enjoys showing people what makes this area special. Beautiful scenery, a phenomenal vessel, incredible photo opportunities, and a captain with a mustache worthy of its own Coast Guard credential. Absolutely worth doing. And if you get Captain Andy, consider yourself lucky.

You could instantly tell this was not their first time entertaining on this boat and it was obvious from the moment you step aboard. My two and a half year old daughter came along for the sail this time and had a grand old time, hair blowing in the wind, fascinated when the sails went up and down. After our cruise, we explored Alaska by land, and although still scenic, the whole land experience was anticlimactic. Only 6 guests allowed, so the boat is quiet and not over crowded. Only 2-3 crew members who take care of everything and with a smile. They emphasize making the trip as stress-free as possible-and it was. Spacious boat, nice, clean rooms, delicious food, friendly crew. Watch and learn from the chef (who will cater to your likes/dislikes, food allergies and preferences), hang out in the wheelhouse and talk with the captain while looking for wildlife, and drive the boat. Great for all ages-fellow travelers ranged from teen to senior. Lots to do on the boat like movies and local books and plenty more off the boat- kayaking, whaler for easier sight-seeing, 27' sport boat so we could fish as often as we wanted (fishing licenses included-so one less thing we had to deal with). Caught crab and fish and had it for our meals the same day and beyond! We even had some to take home. We saw so much wildlife and other special sites without the cost of extra excursion fares. We rarely saw other boats (besides fishermen) so we were out in Alaska's natural element to take in the scenery with privacy-no big cruise ships or 1000s of people-just a small boat and nature. We were able to get close to wildlife without disturbing them or they followed our boat for up-close and personal experiences-from whales to porpoises, bears to porcupines. You spend a lot of time at sea but in a good way-taking in the surroundings you normally wouldn't see with other tours (large cruises) or traveling on your own. But you can make stops in town for a night depending on what tour you book. With never being on a private charter tour before, we really didn't know what to expect, but we were blown away with the experience and being spoiled. PS - They were great about getting back to us when we had additional questions before booking the trip. Also, they will work to pick you up at your hotel or airport.
