We ended up really enjoying the tour and would highly recommend to visitors. This would especially be a great thing to add to your itinerary if you're only in the city for a short time, as you get to see a lot of landmarks in a short time. You also get to hear about the city's history and key industries. The ride overall is pretty smooth, and my husband, who gets motion sickness, was totally fine. The boat when docked can experience a little more motion, however, so your mileage may vary. We also found it easy to get seats with good views, and the guides were easy to hear anywhere on the boat. The crew were friendly and engaging, and Angelo and the other staff were very kind to us when my husband and I mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary.

The check-in and onboarding process was super easy. The ship promptly left dock at designated time. The top deck had open view. The second level had enclosed area with glass window views. Also both ends were open to guests as well. From start to end, the staff member did an amazing job of narrating many aspects of the views from the deck. A lot of it was about the downtown Seattle buildings, Space Needle, buildings and parks by the shore, the sea ports and many other cool facts along the way. I throughly enjoyed the hour long tour. The weather was also fantastic to take stunning pictures of the downtown, the mountains and the port. They also had a bar in second level where they served alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, pop corn and some small snacks. Prices were decent for it being a tourist activity. We liked both popcorn and the strawberry lemonade.

Bow To Stern Charters - Come fish with captain Jason

Captain Jason is a true professional and a credit to his craft as charter fishing Captain. Our half…read moreday excursion was filled with great service, incredible knowledge of the fishing. Jason was on the job from the time we boarded to the time we left the dock. Top notch gear, awesome boat, and overall a magnificent day. We have never witnessed such passion for doing a great job and working hard.

I recommend that you read this before you book with this outfit:…read more The website is well done and would lead one to believe that this is a professional operation. However, based upon my direct experience, it is not. I booked a morning charter for my son and me last weekend while I was visiting my son's new place in Seattle. I confirmed the departure location with Captain Jason via phone several weeks ahead of time. When I called, Captain Jason's tone sounded as if I was causing him an inconvenience and bordered on sounding rude...though he did warm up a bit at the end when I identified myself as a paying customer. I followed up with an email to him two days before the charter to ask if he had any additional requirements or recommendations for my son and me prior to our arrival, but he never replied. I wasn't too concerned...I guess he had no additional information for us and after all, he had already had accepted my 10% deposit and had my email and phone number if there was some type of issue. The day before the charter, my son and I drove to the marina to make sure that we knew exactly where we were going the next morning as we would be leaving early and I was entirely unfamiliar with the area. According to Captain Jason's instructions, my son and I arrived promptly at the dock at 4:45 am the next morning...15 minutes before the charter start time of 5:00 am. However, neither Captain Jason nor anyone affiliated with Bow to Stern Charters was there. We waited until 5:15 and then called Captain Jason's cell phone number. It rang and rang, and then went to voicemail. I made another call at 5:45, and again no answer. I then made a final call at 6:15 am, and again, no answer. So, with our one-day fishing licenses, camera, snacks and beverages in hand, my son and I got back into our rental car and drove back to the hotel. I sincerely don't know if I have ever felt more disappointed. If I could, I would leave zero stars for this business but it seems that Yelp requires at least one star to post a review. I'm 52 years old, and have never left a Yelp review before. I went to Captain Jason's Bow to Stern website today and see that he is still actively booking for trips today and through the rest of the week, so it would seem that he is still in operation. However, three days after our monumental disappointment, I have yet to receive a reply to my email and three unanswered phone calls as to why a Captain would do such a thing to a father and son.

My…read morefriends and I scheduled the 2 hour tour (you have book a minimum of 3 people no more than 6) and since nobody else booked it was just the 3 of us!!!! WINNING!!! AND they were running a special!! Our captain (Captain Madeline) was PHENOMENAL!!!! I had spoke with her the day before we booked and even though she was giving me bad news, she was very nice about it. :) We met with her around 11 in the morning and we (I) should've read the email a little better. You can have drinks (DRANKS) on the yacht BUT the Captain pours them and already has them there. You can bring your own (we brought champagne) but if you're running behind (like we were) you don't need to stop, there's a nicely stocked bar on the yacht AND Madeline is licensed. She was super knowledgeable and pointed out all types of fun facts! What was even cooler is I'm in real estate so she talked to me about all the lake houses and the price points of them and such, even down to the square footage, lol! It was great! If you're in the Seattle area and want a nice relaxing yacht ride you should definitely book with Canderé, and most specifically Captain Madeline
