I have spent my entire life being belittled and beat down - thanks to Wing Chun I am now only belittled and not beat down.

I hope the Muay Thai classes pick up again and would give Seattle CRT another try if/when they do.

I'm a business owner and with very little extra time on my hands, it takes a pretty incredible…read moreexperience for me to find the time to write a review. It was easy to find the time to write a review for my trainer, Kevin Russell. Kevin gets results, I'm proof of that, having lost 25 pounds and counting, over the past 3 months. Never have I had the results I have experienced with Kevin. He's the fat whisperer. In all seriousness, I believe one of the reasons why Kevin has been so successful at helping me to lose weight is because of the science of it all that he brings to the table. The first several weeks I worked out with Kevin I seemingly made no progress, meaning no weight loss. I had insisted all along that I did not want to do much weights related training because I did not want to "bulk up". Kevin told me one day, in a nice professional way, that he didn't care what I thought about weights and that I was going to start doing them. Kevin also spent time developing a calorie and activity plan, specifically designed to meet my weight loss goals and deadlines I had established. He also helped by providing detailed lists of what I should and shouldn't eat and how much I could eat. Kevin has also closely monitored my diet, activities and weight loss, often tweaking things in each of these areas to help ensure that I am maintaining consistent and continue weight loss. I don't want to settle for anything less than the goals I have established for myself and I appreciate that Kevin feels the same way and pushes me towards those goals at all times. Needless to say, I have experienced steady and significant weight loss over the past few months, because of Kevin. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking for guidance and support in maintaining a healthy life style and also for anyone who wants to get back in shape, like I did. I started out my training sessions a bit nervous having only been running for exercise. Kevin started out with some lower intensity workouts and before I even realized it, he had turned the workouts into high intensity sessions - in other words, Kevin has a talent for making workouts bearable, challenging and sometimes even fun.

The fitness instructors, Chris and John were really nice and enthusiastic to help us lose weight and get fit. They asked us what our fitness goals were and we shared what we hoped to gain from the classes. In the 28 days, I went about 60% of the time. I wish they had a gym in North Seattle because the Queen Anne location is a bit of a drive for me, especially during high traffic time (6:15 p.m. class). There is plenty of parking at this facility. I really enjoyed the week day classes inside the gym. It doesn't get so crowded that you stand around. Both John and Chris were really great in helping us have the right posture while doing each work out routine so that we wouldn't insure ourselves. You end up doing a lot of squats and stomach exercises. During the first few classes, I was sore beyond belief. It really helped strengthen my muscles. On the weekends, you meet at a park in Queen Anne. While we worked out, we also played games. This was both entertaining and a great opportunity to become more in shape. The only minor critique I have is that their pricing structure is a bit steep. For those who don't have a great amount of disposable income, $100+ per month (can't remember the exact amount) is really expensive. I understand that gym memberships are expensive but this is on the pricier side. If you do the math, it is more than $1,000 a year for exercise classes. There is class pass offered in the Seattle area for $79, which gives you access to many different gyms around the city. I am aware that they have promotions but it only lasts for a limited amount of time. Aside from their pricing, I'd say that their instructors and facilities are top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed taking work out classes here. Oh yah, I forgot to mention that the recipes that the gym sends out are great. They email healthy recipes to those on their email chain. My friend who attends Ian, tried out a couple of dishes and really liked it.

I love the team model they use, and really feel supported in getting the most effective treatment because of it. In this sequence, I've only worked with Gabby so far. It's been 10/10 from the careful attention to my issues and figuring out the right pace to the personable professionalism. There are no guarantees in healthcare and I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I've been dealing with chronic pain for a few years and had kind of given up. It's been ten days of exercises and my pain is reduced and I'm sleeping better. Just really fucking grateful right now

At least that's what my time there has been like, and I've met many others through the years who share the same sentiment. I've been taking classes for 5 years here. The reason that I come back every day isn't just for the workout, but for the community that they've built. Nothing is better than lifelong friendships that were forged in the iron paradise while squat cleaning. Anthony and Pat are not only some of the most knowledgeable coaches that I've ever had, but they make every class fun and approachable. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is, they will find a way to make the workout scalable for you.
