Title is always solid for a cardio boxing heavy bag workout. I've taken a bunch of group classes here and it's always a great workout. The instructors are real fighters and each one has their own style :) Staff is also very welcoming. The gyms also have rings and weights and focus mitts / other boxing equipment which I'm guessing is meant for private lessons. I do, however, wish this location had showers like the other locations. read more

I really enjoyed this class when I was able to take it, but my schedule changed and I had to cancel my membership. I submitted a form in the app, got no reply, so I called in Nov. to cancel. They suggested I freeze for 3 months instead since I would still have to pay for Dec. & the freeze would be Jan-March. Okay, fine. I call in Feb. to finalize my cancellation and now I have to pay through April? What a horrible scammy policy. read more

My new favorite gym! I've taken a couple classes here and I look forward to every workout. I've taken classes with Coach Nicole and Coach Tanner and I can definitely say that they create such a welcoming environment and motivate you. There are many reviews about the difficult cancellation process. If you opt to cancel your membership, there is simply no way to do it unless you wait another 1-2 months. I opted to pay for the most expensive option, which was "50% off the first month," and I had asked if I can downgrade after that first month which they said yes. However, if I want to cancel, I would have to wait until another billing cycle has passed. I am stuck with either paying another $200+ for my current membership so I can cancel sooner, or downgrade now and agree to another membership plan and wait another 1-2 months. The cancellation process involves trying to figure out the cheapest way to cancel because they will not let you go for free. Update: the owner has accused me of "trying to take advantage and trying to find a loophole." I was upfront about my intentions from the beginning about wanting to switch plans after a month to reduce the cost. Also when I first requested to cancel and stated my reasons they emailed me "is that only reason you want to cancel?" This should tell anyone all they need to know about how they treat their customers. read more

TITLE is the best!!! We took a group of 25 people from work here this afternoon, and everybody walked out with hundreds of calories burned, a great workout, and tons of laughs. This was not only a fun experience for our team, but a great bonding opportunity. Our class didn't start until 3pm, but the entire 90 minutes we were there, Coach Manny gave us ALL of his attention, energy, and excitement. The class we took was queues up to hip hop mixes from the early 2000s (a big hit with our team), and it had just the right amount of grit to get everyone sweating and working hard. Tried my first class with a friend, enjoyed the class itself but the guy who checked me & my friend in & out was super pushy about membership and signing up for another class before we left. That is what it is, I've tried many gym chains & understand some really try to rope you in more than others. The part that made me & my friend most uncomfortable was it was our first boxing class ever & he went on & on about his own boxing accomplishments (us not knowing what any of it meant) & how we should support him at his matches, how he could be our personal trainer, and then basically forced us to follow his personal Instagram (not the gyms, which is what I thought at first) before we could move on & leave. I don't think there was any ill intent but the whole thing was very uncomfortable for a first timer & we promptly unfollowed/blocked him after leaving the gym. Title Boxing Club's membership cancellation practice has been incredibly predatory and is shameful. On top of that, they are charging full membership dues during the quarantine order of the Covid-19 pandemic. After starting a membership at the club, several months in, two things happened. I re-injured my back in a class, and I got a new job that gives me virtually no options for attending any of these classes. I started off by putting a pause on my membership. 3 months later my back was still bad and my job had the same hours. I decided it was not going to work for me and messaged the club that I wanted to cancel my membership. Their response was a solid 'tough luck, we won't let that happen, see you in class.' The worst part being that the manager had the gall to say that "earlier you said it was a schedule change, not an injury" and telling me that he didn't believe me. The only way to cancel a membership is if you provide proof that you have moved 25 miles away from a boxing gym or PROVIDE PROOF OF DEATH. On top of all of this shamefully predatory policy, I am still seeing charges on my account in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. How do you even justify this behavior? "Online classes?" This place should be shut down for good after this pandemic, charging their members when you can't even physically go to the gym. Do not go to this boxing gym, the instructors are incredibly kind and talented people but they are working with a company that doesn't respect their customers. read more

Haven't been to a class since moving out of state but I just wanted to drop a line and say how much I miss this gym! It's spacious and clean, staff are super friendly, and the classes are also structured well. I recently tried a class at a Title club near me and it felt so disorganized and chaotic as they didn't stop to show the add ons to each combo during the rounds. They yelled it out and being a deaf person, I need clear visuals to be able to follow. I so miss the Greenwood location! They will kick your ass and you wont regret joining! read more

I loved the free introduction session I had here led by Manny. He was upbeat and motivating - it is truly one of the best workouts. Unfortunately, I already have access to 2 different gyms and I also have another fitness regiment that I am very committed to, so it's hard for me to sign up for a fourth gym membership. Title Boxing Club only offers memberships - with initiation fee plus monthly dues; they do not offer drop-in, so even though I would gladly pay $25 per class, it doesn't seem like it's going to be possible for me to continue coming which is too bad because I really loved it! read more

With the recent spike in Covid-19 cases, I want to cancel my membership, but they are telling me that I have to go IN PERSON to that, when a big part of the reason I'm cancelling is the IN PERSON portion. Aside from being a cheap sales tactic, aimed at making it difficult for people to cancel memberships, this is just irresponsible and goes against the Governor's decrees that we need to limit unnecessary contact due to the Coronavirus Pandemic! When you look at their other reviews, it's clear that this has been a major problem for them, throughout 2020. Levi, the manager, continues to claim that because this policy is written down in the paperwork, somehow that makes it legitimate. Lots of heavy bags, great workout classes, solid instructors, clean and welcoming space! There's a lot to love about Title boxing and I've always had a great time when I went. The classes I went to consisted of timed drills on the heavy bag and then ab work. The instructors have legit skills and great personalities too. As for a workout gym, it's pretty great. There isn't a proper locker room which is a bit odd compared to most other gyms I've been to, but there are plenty of lockers available. Probably the cleanest and nicest boxing gym I've seen. I went to about 3-4 classes and then decided it wasn't what I was looking for esp given pricing. My disappointment came in that it's really a fitness studio and not a boxing gym. It doesn't appear like you can really learn the sport of boxing. In the classes, there isn't much attention on technique or strategy rather more sweating it out as a workout. I don't think there's any partner work or sparring offered there unless you sign up for a private session with a trainer. In the classes I went to, I didn't spot any participants who looked like they were training in the sport either. I get it, there's probably much more of an audience for a fitness studio than a boxing gym, so from a fitness studio perspective it's a great place! I kinda just wish it wasn't marketed like Title boxing club when it feels more like Title boxercise studio fitness. But whatevs, do what you gotta do. read more

Title Boxing Club is a clean and spacious boxing gym located in Greenwood. When you walk in, everyone is friendly and makes you feel right at home. I have been coming here since July and I always look forward to attending class. If you want an intense workout, check out their 30 min boxing class. I signed up for that as my very first class at Title, and you will be worked! I will never forget at the end of class, when we were doing wall sits, the woman next to me said this was harder than their 1 hour sessions. After taking other classes here, I can vouch and say that is very true! lol. I enjoy attending Ray's classes because he pumps you up and I find them fun. I recently took one of Clayton's kickboxing classes and I love that the class focused on form and technique, which is something I still need work on. The one thing I wish Title offers are drop in sessions. Since I currently have ClassPass, a personal trainer and an IMA membership, I unfortunately can't afford a Title Boxing membership with my budget. So for now, I'll just have to deal with going 3 times a month via ClassPass.=( However, if Title ever decides to offer drop in classes, I would be all over that! read more

Response to Owner: Levi- I do appreciate your response but want to make the following points. 1) when you have kids, your schedule is not as flexible so yes, unfortunately, my schedule seemed to line up with Teddy's classes. In the summer, I was able to take classes from other instructors, which is how I KNOW that other instructors are amazing and Teddy is not. 2) unfortunately, I've attended many of Teddy's classes and you seem to be excusing his consistent bullying behavior and verbal abuse by saying "he has a unique sense of humor that can easily be taken the wrong way if you do not know him." I suggest that your business should focus on the customers and whether your business is serving their needs. The customers should not work to understand the offensive humor of your trainers. I can tell you that the female who was being made fun of by Teddy left in the middle of class. At what point does professionalism apply to Teddy? I personally know not to make certain jokes or act a certain way at my job, even though I have a quirky sense of humor. If a new customer who is trying to lose weight or feel better about themselves attends Teddy's class for the first time and gets made fun of, do you think they'll understand the abuse because he has a "unique sense of humor"? When do YOU start caring about the customers? Please do not makes excuses for bullying and abuse by YOUR trainer. 3) again, I appreciate the offer but having watched Teddy's behavior as an instructor and knowing how he's treated certain people, I must decline your offer. read more

After reading a couple reviews I knew I wasn't the only one. Me and my friends also left this gym because of an instructor named Teddy. Teddy is a TERRIBLE instructor who seems to think and act like he's the owner of the gym instead of an actual trainer. Maybe that's why he has his girls teach his class while he wanders off to talk to the front desk people who he's friends with. Are you kidding me? I paid hard earn money to come learn a skill, work out, have fun at the same time from an actual "trainer" and not from his students who has bad if not worst form than me. During teddys class which only consisted of only 5 people, never a packed crowd. There was no proper instruction/technique, no excitement, no enthusiasm and no help from Teddy what so ever. Everybody looked confused as I am staring at each other. He wouldn't even walk around and look at us to see if we're actually punching and kicking the bag correctly. I was going to make a complaint to the owners of this gym Levi/Janet but was quickly told by a few members of the gym that the owners don't care and will only defend Teddys actions at all cost. I was shocked! Not to mention, I was charged at and barked at by a German Shepard as soon as I walked in which later on I found out was Teddys dog. I have a mild dog allergy and didn't know they have pets running around the gym. Had I knew or seen I wouldn't have signed up due to my allergic reactions to dogs. Immediately I noticed dog hairs all over the ground and in the boxing ring, my nose started to tickle and my skin began to itch but I still intended on working out a little since I'm already there. After a few planks I had random red bumps appear on my elbows. Sorry but me and my friends will not be coming back to this gym. P.S. Anybody that's been a victim of teddys bullying and is afraid to come out to say something, needs to speak up! That kind of behavior is not professional nor acceptable anywhere! More than just a few members I know and talked to has left this gym because of Teddy. I really hope corporate takes a look at this issue. Title, do the right thing and get rid of this guy. read more

This place is ruthless. you have to pay to get out of your membership. I've never heard of that ( should be illegal). They are money suckers, and try to squeeze every last penny from you with random charges. Way too expensive, and don't seem to care about their customer base. Customer service is cold and snooty. I even reluctantly let them know I had to cancel, because of a family death. They didn't give two F*cks. was met with a , " sorry, there's nothing we can do". I was introduced to boxing about a year ago and fell in love. When I moved to Seattle I knew I had to continue going. The club is really accommodating and helpful when checking the club out. Stop by for a free class. All of the instructors are super helpful and willing to answer questions. All instructors/staff are friendly and welcoming. The facility itself is one of the nicer Title locations I've seen. Plenty of bags and locker space. Always really clean. Even when it's a big class there are enough bags that it never feels too crowded. Nice variety of class times. Check them out! read more

There were/are 3 stages in my life (more like were because I am currently overweight, add 25lbs to my current and outdated yelp photo) that I have been at the best shapre of my life: 1. high school wrestling, i had like a 4.5 pack or something in those days 2. college. sophmore/junior year, all that running lifting weights and basketball 3. doing 1 month here and dropping 18 lbs. yes you heard that right. #3, I came in weighing in at 173lbs gave or take a pound here or there. by the time I left I went back to 155lbs which was my college weight, and my body fat %age was 13% or so, I have photos somewhere that I am just too lazy to post. Of course I went everyday, 2x/day 6 days a week. Sometimes 3x a day. All the trainers I had were amazing. Sadly I live far away from this place now so I could not continue. read more

Really great set up here. Tried it out after UFC gym closed on Roosevelt, and split my time between two gyms for a while. Instructors are all very good from my experience. It's in a great neighborhood, nice big set up, everyone is friendly. Can't say a bad thing. Only reason I left was due to the other gym I was trying being far closer to my place of employment, and while they are very reasonably priced, two gym memberships weren't in my budget. When I leave my job, if the commute to Title is closer I will 100% be back and would for sure recommend to anyone. Especially want to give a shout out to Greg. Who picked up here right where he left off with UFC Gym. They'd likely never gone out of business if they'd backed their wagon to him. UFC's loss was Title's massive gain. read more

I really enjoy taking classes at Title Boxing so far. I've taken classes with Nicole and Greg and they are both great teachers. Nicole's classes really kick my butt (in a good way) and Greg has really helped me understand the technique's needed to do the moves as a beginner. This is one of the only exercise classes I look forward to. The vibe is very friendly and welcoming to all types which I REALLY appreciate -- I don't feel self conscious here even though I really don't know what I'm doing. :) Only (small) cons: - It is very pricey to sign up as a member in my opinion. Luckily when I joined there was a great special going or there is no way I could have afforded it. It's too bad they don't offer class punch passes or something along those lines since that would be a much better option for me and I'm sure others like me who just want to go to class once a week without the signup fees and yearly commitment. I'm sure they would get more business if they had more inclusive pricing. - For the membership price there are very few amenities. For a gym membership of any kind I expect a few perks, like a shower (at minimum) and ideally a steam room or sauna in addition to machines, classes, etc. For now, I would recommend Title Boxing to anyone interested in boxing or kickboxing classes and will continue to go. I hope in the future they will consider adding more price points/ways to pay and perhaps a few more perks for members. read more

First impression: Wow! The place looks amazing! Lockers, heavy bags, speed bag, cardio machines, weights, and a boxing ring! There is no sparring or actual fighting at the club so the ring is for mitt sessions. Having ring awareness in combination with mitt sessions is an intense workout, physically and mentally. The Title Boxing Club "formula" works. I've been doing kickboxing for two years on average of 2 times of week and after working out here for 1 month, I've seen better results. My cardio has improved, my technique has improved, and GEEZ, my core has improved. The trainers come from many different fitness backgrounds. Some professional boxers! I've taken 5 different trainers and ALL of them are great. Each have their own personality but they all push you, motivate you, and make you sweat. They'll assist you with wrapping your hands and will walk around during class to give you a personal push. They have a few workout options, Boxing Power Hour, Kickboxing Power Hour, Boxing 30min power, and 75min Boxing Hour (only for the determined!). Can't make it to a class? Not a problem! Again, there is other equipment at the club that will allow you to come in and work out on your own or schedule a time for personal training. The club is super clean. The members wipe down their bags and the staff mop down the mats after each class. Search on YouTube for "Title Boxing Club" and you'll see tons of videos. The first class is free. This rating is based on my personal experience so I can't guarantee you'll have the same...but it'll be pretty damn close! :) read more

This is a great workout option for the family. My family of 4 has been attending for about 9 months now, and we've enjoyed every one of the trainers on staff. They have classes throughout the day, every day, and are responsive to feedback on how to provide a better experience for their members, including adding new classes when demand is there. Kids (mine are 8 and 12) are welcome at every class, but they also offer an afternoon class specifically for the younger set. They even adjusted the time of the class to accommodate an earlier release for the updated school year. The workouts themselves are intense and challenging, and the trainers do a good job to modify the workouts to accommodate varying skill levels. I'm not here to learn how to box, but their continual emphasis on proper form ensures that I stay mentally engaged throughout as well. The facility is always very clean, well lit, and has a good selection of well-maintained equipment to use if it's your first time. However, I'm sure you'll be picking out your own custom pair of gloves to buy if you give it a try. read more

We don't give very many five star reviews, but our family loves going to Title so much, that I have to give five stars. We started three weeks ago and are addicted now. We are already seeing changes in our bodies and still feel sore after every work out. Our 13 y/o daughter absolutely loves it. She is getting strong, developing balance and confidence. It's wonderful to see. The staff is great, super friendly, and helpful. There is a great mix of people there, from people who are already fit, to those who are just getting started. There isn't any "meat-head" gym mentality that I've seen at other gyms. Everyone is there to get a great work-out. I've never sweat so much in my life. Bring a towel and get ready to reach muscle failure with a smile on your face. There are only two things that are slightly negative in our opinion, but not worth dropping a star over. One is that there are no showers. I love taking a shower after my work-out. It's kind of gross getting in your car all sweaty. Again, bring a towel. I totally get it from a business perspective. Showers add cost and maintenance. If I were the owner or the one developing the franchise business model, I'd cut out showers as well. The second minor issue is the price. It is a little expensive ($150 month for family with $100 initiation fee), but we are justifying the expense by going often ($4.45 per class, per person for a family of three, going 3 times per week for a year. $6.70 per class, per person if said family goes twice a week). It's easy to be committed to going often, because it's so much fun. I'm happy to go without showers and pay a little more in exchange for the personal attention you get from the trainers and the sense of community that seems to be here. Having a hard time writing this as my arms are still trembling from this morning's workout here (that's a good thing!) I tried it out for the first time and was so happy I did. I usually take kickboxing classes at my gym but nothing like real boxing that's here. It was an intense class and worked the whole body - cardio warm-up, legs in between, boxing to kill the arms, and a core cool down. Staff was super nice and helpful for a newbie like me and the instructor was awesome - made sure you were comfortable with each instruction and motivating during the class. I didn't sign up for a membership as I'm leaving town for a bit but definitely will be back and hope they add drop-in rates for those that are scared of committing. I'm a 48 year old 280lb fat guy (Still a work in progress). I WAS a 320lb fat guy. Greg, The gym manager was the first face I saw when I walked into the door. Immediately dropped what he was doing, sat down with me to discus what my needs were. He didn't just dive strait into a salesman speech. I realize my walking through his door that first day probably wasn't the highlight of his day, but he made me FEEL like me walking through his door was the highlight of his day. Gregs students are not just paychecks. This man genuinely cares about peoples health and so do the rest of the trainers here. Shout out to Coach Teddmo and Coach Seth (Coach Fish n Chips). I always wanted to take a boxing class but was always too intimidated. I decided to finally sign up after getting bored with my current workout routine and wanted to try something new. I had looked into all the different clubs, gyms, and classes nearby and finally settled on Title Boxing. Here's the run down of what won me over after just 1 class: The first class is free, which is great especially if you're on the fence like I was. It gives you a chance to try it out without any pressure or strings attached. The class kicked my butt. I know that seems strange, but that's exactly what I want from a workout. I want to constantly be challenged and pushing myself. I don't normally sweat a lot and not because I don't workout hard, but I just naturally don't sweat much. I was soaked after this class. To some that's not appealing, but I was thoroughly impressed. I felt so good after my workout and I was eager to come back for more. The music is on point. I honestly can't workout if there isn't good music playing in the background. It's what relaxes me and gets my head in the zone. They play a great mix of music. Every instructor has a different playlist, which I'm sure they also change up. The coaches are spectacular. Now, let me be clear and say that every coach is different and there will be ones you prefer over others due to their style of coaching. I prefer ones that push you by lifting you up. Saying things like "Let's go faster/harder I know you have it in you, you got this!" There a coaches that push you through punishment and when I say punishment it's when they say/do things like "if I don't see everyone getting down low when shuffling, we're going to keep going until you're all down low". I don't love that style, I get that it motivates some people, it just doesn't motivate me. Also, I can't always get around this due to which coach is teaching during which time slot I can make. You just make the best of it. That's life. Everyone is very nice and helpful. They are all willing to teach you how to wrap your hands, help you with form, etc. Just be sure to speak up and ask for help. There's equipment in the back that you can use at any time to do some weight lifting and I believe there's a treadmill as well. It's a nice addition because then I don't have to tag on a separate gym membership. It's doesn't have everything like a bench press and bar bells but it has enough. Bonus: one of the coaches brings his sweet German Shepard in from time to time. She's such a well behaved dog. It's pretty cool that they allow dogs at the gym. The only downside of this gym is that there is no locker room for changing or showering. You have to change in the bathroom, which sucks because there's no great place to put your bag while you're changing or hang your clothes. Also, if you have somewhere to go after the gym you better schedule time to run home to shower or have some strong deodorant/dry shampoo. It's not a deal breaker but it would be a nice amenity. I have since signed up for a membership and go as frequently as I can. I love coming here and an hour workout goes by faster than you'd think. read more

I've been a member for a while now after trying out many other gyms in the Seattle (other boxing, MMA, and traditional gyms) and can say without a doubt this is the best experience. The classes are always new and exciting, you can try out different styles (for instance traditional kickboxing or Muay Thai), and every trainer is a bit different which keeps it interesting. I think the most distinguishing aspect for me versus other gyms was the personal touch and attention given. The coaches are friendly and helpful in and out of the "ring", and as someone who has some prior experience with martial arts, I really appreciated them correcting my technique if they saw me doing something wrong. This was really important to me, not only because it helped me improve my abilities, but also reduces potential injury and made the overall experience more enjoyable. This is definitely a differentiating aspect of the gym you don't find at others. Overall, cannot say enough good things read more

I started attending classes here as part of my ClassPass, which has been great for me, as someone who can't commit to a membership. That's one downside: I wish they offered drop-in rates outside of ClassPass so I could bring a friend. The classes will make you work up a sweat. The instructors keep you moving and motivated. Throughout a class, there are various rounds that only last a few minutes, so you stay challenged. Come a few minutes early for your first class so you have time to learn how to wrap hand wraps (you'll have to buy them for your first class, but they are inexpensive). read more

My husband and I have been coming here for a couple of months now and LOVE it! All of the trainers have been fantastic and are genuinely passionate about boxing. They are also a lot of fun. :-) It's a great work out, you will most definitely sweat! We decided to really dedicate some time to our health and for the last 3 weeks have been going at least 3 times a week and I am already seeing a huge difference in my figure. My stomach is getting flatter and my arms less flabby. I very highly recommend you try this out. Oh! And another thing! Greg helped us sign up, but he wouldn't let us until we had tried one class to make sure it was something that we would like and be able to commit to. I appreciated that very much as the other gyms we were looking at were non-stop calling us and trying to pressure us into signing up.
